I would recommend this hotel, but I booked a weekend and in the end I ended up canceling and there was no refund... remembering that it's not my first time there... the first time I was staying at the hotel, someone tried to open my door during the night, but on the website and other apps it showed that there was a refund

The hotel is ideally located within a very short walking distance from the main railway station, and an easy walk into the main centre of Grenoble. The rooms are clean and tidy and exactly what you need without paying lots more for extras. The hotel is owned and operated, the service is friendly and helpful. The owner has good English, so was able to help with queries and a future booking elsewhere in France for us. Was a wonderful stay and thank you so much for looking after us so well.

The Hotel is very conveniently located for the Train Station. We only needed one overnight stay and when we arrived The Owner was very pleasant indeed. The room was relatively basic however it was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. I felt it was reasonable value for money. We went to a nice restaurant which was only about 50 metres from The Hotel, so all in all it was nice and easy for us. If I was travelling via Grenoble again and needed an overnight stay, I would definitely consider the Hotel Lux again.

WIFI was broken all four days we stayed here. Was sent a rude response about a lost bag. Terrible experience all around, just stay at the Hotel Ibis down the street.

Nice to get a reasonable priced room in the city centre. I would call hotel lux functional, and purpose serving. I had a room to myself which was fine as the room was shall we call it compact. Hopefully there are larger twin and doubles. En suite is a capsule affair. Free breakfast and unbeatable price is the key.

Horrible! The room is veeeery small! The bathroom looks like airplane bathroom, made by plastic and very very small. Also the elevator do not fit one person with bags. Not even possible to go with wheelchair.
Be aware that is a very cheap hotel, if you need to stay only one night, you can try it, but for a week in Grenoble, you should search for something more cozy!
