The hotel is walking distance from the train/bus station. The hotel staff are also friendly and welcoming

It is equivalent to Hanting in China, or even slightly worse. But the small city is very quiet at night. Bastille seen from the Isère River.

Good location. Just 5 minutes walk to Grenoble Bus and train station. Near the river, but river view room is not recommended because of the noise.

For a 2 star hotel at this price point, it's as good as can be reasonably expected. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Hotel is quite comfortable for a night or two. It is not just next to the gare, so keep that in mind if you have many suitcases.
