The standard of service has declined; this hotel no longer deserves its 5 stars: torn pillow, the wall by the window completely crumbling (room 206), damaged door frames, and very expensive parking (€30 per night). The staff are all very nice. The facilities are old but for a European hotel, they are well equipped. Water pressure is also sufficient. The Perrier, juice and snacks in the room fridge are free. We really liked this hotel. The room was clean and large. The breakfast atmosphere was very quiet, and the food was very good. It's a 15-minute walk to the metro station, and you can take the bus right outside the door.

I stayed for 4 nights from a Monday to Friday, checked in very quickly. I stayed on the 4th floor in the red building, but I did not include breakfast, personal choice. Room was clean. Breakfast was not bad not good. I have arrived the hotel about 2pm, they arbitrarily wait us till to 3pm for check in while most of the rooms were vacant.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Excellent value for money. Location was great... can walk from the train station, and just a block from the metro, a tram line, and bus routes. Room was clean and quiet and shower was nice. (Did not have breakfast... I never get up in time.) We had a twin room and the beds were larger than usual. Friendly check-in staff. Restaurants nearby.

I spent 2 nights and it went well despite the receptionist. For a 4-star hotel in the city of Lyon, the reception should be impeccable. When I arrived there was no one at the reception (a little before 3 p.m.), I waited 5 minutes for her to arrive. She arrived eating her cake and she barely said hello to me with her cake in her mouth. She did my check-in with her cake still on and she explained nothing...

Much better than reviews say. The inner courtyard is lovely. Renovated rooms are nice, a bit small. The bed is very good. The location is fantastic, close to center and easy access. Friendly staff.

I was in town for business but very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and how nice this hotel was. Service was above and beyond, and the bathroom / room were spacious with wonderful water pressure in the shower! Would go back!

Walkable distance to the tram station to go to city center. But the lights of the hotels itself and the rooms is quite dark. The hotel is a bit old but acceptable. Rooms with the basic kitchen for cooking. Basic gym room also provided.

I arrived before check-in, but they let me into my room right away. The room had a kitchen and was clean and comfortable.

Located in the city center, the nearest Chinese restaurant, "Exclamation Mark," is a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast is served across the street. The room is indeed small, but it has kitchenware, so we cooked a little something ourselves.

A perfect hotel to experience Lyon to the fullest. From the exceptional customer service to the beautiful room, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended.

It wasn’t clear when we booked this hotel that it was right next to a constantly busy main road so it was noisy all night. The food was okay. We only had breakfast there and there wasn’t a lot of choice. The staff in the breakfast area were not helpful.

Relatively satisfied. However, the sheet and the comforter had dried blood stains. Wine glasses were not available unless a bottle was purchased directly at the hotel. The terrace was not cleaned, and the ashtrays were full but not emptied. There were several parasols, but none were ever opened. The outdoor chairs were not cleaned.

Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable and good value for money. The location isn't particularly interesting, but it's quiet and close to trams, trains and buses.

Arriving by car is very difficult. It is hard to find and there are no indicators.
