The hotel is at 33rd floor of a high-rise building and quite close to the train station. There are such nice views from the room, as a chain hotel the amnities are quite good but would have wanted a proper coffee machine
Glad to stay in iconic building in Lyon. I got a room with a view to old town.
The bed and the linens are confortable and soft
The room and hotel location are both great.
The highlights: the building itself was stunning with a beautiful view, and as a member, I appreciated the complimentary water, VIP dining benefits, and room upgrade. These touches definitely added to the experience
Good that it was only one night! Freezing cold in the room , although the girl from reception was very helpful and brought us heater ( but unfortunately it is super small and didn’t help anyhow)

There is a beautiful balcony with great river view. I gave 3* to room for a reason that it was uncofotably cold during my stay for 3 nights from 26th till 29th of September
We stayed at this hotel five nights September 9 through 14th. The room was very quiet as it faced the park, the cathedral was visible from the room, the only downside was that the balcony door was permanently locked
because (as reception said) this period between summer and winter they don't activate heating system. But I think this not so acceptable,. So I ordered a blanket but it didn't smell good,so I didn't use it
Very beautiful hotel, located in the congress area of Lyon, facing Rhône river. there is a cinema, minimalists and cafés near the hotel
Lobby beautiful, Reception staff are polite but some of them need more english language training. Restaurant buffet is good with variable foods and drinks. Bed and pillows comfortable also
Bathroom beautiful, it has a shower and a bath tub
The concierge was especially friendly and he helped us to store our bags and arrange for a taxi to the train station on our last day. We paid approximately EUR250 a night and we thought it was worth the price
The standard of service has declined; this hotel no longer deserves its 5 stars: torn pillow, the wall by the window completely crumbling (room 206), damaged door frames, and very expensive parking (€30 per night)
The only problem we had was the fact that despite an earlier email and the extra specific on the day of our arrival in advance by telephone that we requested a room with 2 beds, this was not taken into account when we arrived at the hotel and we got a room with one "large" bed
Staff always very friendly and attentive. Perfect breakfast also enhanced by a superb panoramic view. The only point of improvement concerns the room which would deserve a little refreshment (modernity)
The facilities are old but for a European hotel, they are well equipped. Water pressure is also sufficient. The Perrier, juice and snacks in the room fridge are free. Overall, it's well worth the price
Excellent hotel, nothing to complain about the room or the hygiene. The underground parking with valet service is handy (at a correct price). The staff is very friendly and helpful
The hotel met my expectations generally talking. It was bright room, clean enough, the bed is really comfy
But it was quiet and again you go there for a cheap price. Parking on the street is difficult the hotel has a underground garage but it is very expensive. The hotel is very well located
Also you only get 2 small bathrooms towels for 2 person
I also think they could add some more towels to the room, as I've got 2 only. I was a solo traveller and at the end it wasn't crytical, but as I kind suggestion
It's a remote and simple place, and it's hard to find a hotel. I can only trust the Ibis chain brand. Fortunately, the environment is clean and sanitary
Very kind staff, excellent breakfast, also possible to eat in your room. Close to public transportation

Pool: Pool, Heated pool
The rooms albeit a little small were well designed, comfortable and had great AC and rain showers. The pool, sauna, steam room, tea and relaxation room in the basement were perfect after a hot day touring Lyon
3) like many hotels in Europe they didn't have wash cloths in the room (face cloths or serviettes carrés as they call them). What do Europeans wash with?
The lobby was elegant and inviting. The Grand Salon was cinematic
The only three things I would improve are:
1) the hotel bar didn't have stools
2) the Nespresso Machines didn't have single serve coffee-mate creamers or at least powder so you had to call down for cold milk for 5€
The cocktails were prepared with love and attention and served in vintage glassware. However martinis and old fashioned's should have more than loz of alcohol
The breakfast buffet was complete and delicious and you could even order an avo toast, truffled omelette or œufs a plat a la carte
Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Lyon. From check-in to check-out almost everything was perfect

Lovely suite at the Crown Plaza. Breakfast was excellent and staff very polite and helpful. The only downside was that the lifts weren't working and it was a long walk to the car because of this
However this would not deter us from staying there again!
The hotel is fully booked and lots of people in the breakfast but the team still can make everything smooth and quick and try to accommodate everyone
The receptionist on October 14th evening 15th morning was a great help. He organized my trip out to Paris.
They are just amazing !!!! And thank you the view of the lake in the one bedroom suite was unbeatable
Thank you for the whole team who is helping out for check in and check out
The value for money was excellent. The room was spacious, clean, and well soundproofed. The breakfast was truly delicious. The small pool in the basement was more than enough to relax for a while
Fantastic stay at the Mercure Lyon Centre Lafayette. We were upgraded to an executive room, so I can’t comment on the standard ones, but ours was absolutely excellent—spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained
Heated pool was too cold. Friendly check-in. Beds weren't great. Also sheets weren't ironed properly which gave itch at the feet. Breakfast was very good and high quality.
Some front desk staff were cold and not so welcoming. At check in there were no mentions of facilities such as swimming pool or gym
The breakfast was very rich and highly recommended. Children are free. The location is great, but parking is €28 per night. The room was clean and had air conditioning, which is very important for Asians.
One thing to keep in mind: at the moment there are street works outside, and rooms facing the construction can be a bit noisy. Aside from that, everything was top‑notch and made for a great stay

honestly the best customer service I’ve ever experienced, really friendly, funny and genuine and honestly made our stay here so great! Thank you Diane and the rest of the team for being awesome! We’ll definitely be back! 😁
The hotel was easily accessible from the highway. We were traveling to the south of France. The neighborhood wasn't ideal for walking. The pool was a welcome relief after a 900 km drive.
We would have liked to have eaten in the restaurant but food started at 1900 and our child was tired. And so, we had room service for 1900 (no earlier was available) - but the food was excellent and service very good
The room was extremely spacious and really comfortable! We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious and the customer service was outstanding! Diane was amazing and she went above and beyond
A very special mention to Stanalie for her beautiful smile during our appetizer and the great service at lunch. We really enjoyed ourselves on monday, thank you for your service.
Nice place to stay near the river. Close to metro and train stations, which are the best solution for moving in the city. Rooms are very clean and nice. Very kind employees and nice European Menu

We stayed in a Privilege room, which was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of four. The room was impeccably clean, and the decor enhanced the overall ambiance of the hotel
Very close to the train station, but a bit tricky to find for first-timers. The facilities are pretty good, and breakfast is plentiful, though I'm not sure why it was so crowded.
The hotel's restaurant food was decent too, and the service was good
The rooms are well-equipped, the bedding is clean and soft, and there's even a Nespresso machine. The staff are warm and attentive. Some rooms even offer beautiful views of Notre Dame
Hôtel de l'Europe et du Parc has an absolutely amazing location, right across from the TGV train station
It's walking distance to all the attractions, making transportation a breeze! The Art Nouveau architecture is stunning and perfect for photos

The rooms are modern, quiet, and comfortable with great city views. The staff is professional and helpful, and the breakfast is ample
For a stress-free, comfortable stay with superb transport links, the Mercure Lyon Centre Part-Dieu is highly recommended
I'm sure I've already reviewed this, why do I need to do it again? The hotel is pretty good.
Hotel at a great location right next to the main train station and next to a shopping mall, with easy access to metro and airport. Clean and good sized room. Very impressive.
Beyond amazing! The room was huge, clean, and quiet.
Perfectly Located & Reliable Modern Stay
An excellent choice for its unbeatable convenience. Located steps from the Part-Dieu train station and major shopping, it's ideal for both business and leisure
Location is excellent and right on place Bellecour. We had a Bellecour view balcony which was amazing. The rooms are a little small but gorgeous! The decor is very authentic. Breakfast was limited but products were great
The hotel is very well located. The restaurant is being renovated, and the hotel offers few common areas, which are quite small
Also, Ctrip's overseas customer service isn't very helpful; don't count on it; you'll have to rely on yourself! They don't give points for reviews, and I won't post pictures anymore; it wastes my data
I'm used to opening the window as soon as I walk in, and it ruined my sleep. Fortunately, I negotiated with the front desk and got a room change
Cocktail prices are rather exorbitant… the room was very pleasant (we were in a junior suite), and the staff was very helpful
I paid cash on the spot, and it was over $100 cheaper than my previous room. It seems Ctrip is being too shady

The hotel is about 300-400 meters from the tram, so it's quite convenient to walk. The check-in experience was decent, though the facilities aren't the newest.
Very cosy atmosphere, nice room for the price:) there’s a restaurant downstairs which is also great! Highlight: the staff were all adorable and super helpful! Would definitely recommend to others and book again:)
I stayed for one night, and i love it. The room was so spacious and clean. I have a very comfortable stay. Really recommended it to everyone.
The hotel was fairly basic, but it was clean and well-maintained. Its location was very convenient, being close to the station and within easy reach of major sightseeing spots
The room was fairly clean and tidy, and the service attitude was very good. The room wasn't very spacious, and the facilities were quite basic
The location isn't near the main train station, nor is it close to the Old Town's tourist spots. Overall, my experience was just average
We ate in the Hotel restaurant, which offers a fine dining tasting menu. My wife is vegan so we booked ahead and checked that they would cater for her. We expected a more simple dinner for her
We had fantastic weekend in Lyon the hotel was fantastic base, well located to visit different parts of the city. Our room was well appointed and designed, with a really warm feeling
The kitchen, however, devised a full vegan tasting menu each course complimenting the the regular meat/ Fish menu that I had. This made our dinner really special and memorable
The hotel bar is cosy, a lovely environment to relax in. The restaurant and bar staff were great. Great food l, great cocktail making
We were a bit nervous about booking a hotel owned by a large chain as we normally go independent, this hotel maintains its unique charm we would stay again
I'm just sorry that I did not get the chance to use their spa and exercise room. Both me and my wife can't wait to return to Lyon and stay at this marvelous place

Here is the list of things that were missing compared to a standard hotel experience:
- no kettle (had to be asked for)
- just two paper/plastic cups in the bathroom, no ceramic mugs in the room
- no tea, coffee or anything really to have a snack with
- no safe in the room (common one at the reception)
- no fridge (seriously?)
- no slippers (and they don’t provide them)
- no towel heaters or radiators...
The staff was very polite and willing to help us understand the surrounding shops and attractions. I highly recommend this hotel because they have buffet breakfast and Express breakfast options.
It's very good, but the roof is slanted, so tall people should be careful. The waiter was very nice and the location was good. Booked 1 night so that we can catch the bus early in the morning
It was an excellent all-round stay.
And suitable for all types of visitors from business to single travellers.
We would visit again.
Excellent service by all staff. Breakfast was great. Very quiet night even being next to the lift.
Good service attitude, enthusiastic and thoughtful

The staff were great and very helpful. They also have a daily Aperitif from 6. 30pm so we got to sample some delicious fresh French deli meats
Great hotel, conveniently located. In the morning in the lounge served a good Breakfast, during the day there you can eat, drink coffee. In the evening guests will enjoy a glass of wine
Staying and service was great.
Great hotel, location is quite central but also away from the main area (roughly 20mins walk). Near the river so ideal for morning walks. Close to the massive market and also pastry shops
Air conditioning worked well which was needed with the heat in June. We had a balcony room and it was absolutely stunning. Free snacks and drinks a real bonus
Great location, just across the river form the centre. Beautifully designed, excellent complimentary lounge and staff

I really liked the color combinations and the overall layout of the hotel. The bathroom was simple yet very well maintained. The shower was equipped with a water-saving system, which I appreciated
The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a wonderful experience overall. On the day of my departure, I paid €93 for transportation from the hotel to the airport
I recommend checking alternative transportation options in advance
Small but clean rooms, worth it for the price we paid also the beds were really comfortable 🥰
The hotel was more like on a place out of the beautiful part out of the city
The staff at the counter is really friendly and made every of my wishes come true.
The rooms are clean.
All in all a really comfortable room next to Lyon Gare.
Spent very good days in Lyon herr.
I can recommend this.
The hotel was very accommodating. The reception was well organized, and the staff were professional and well behaved. I stayed on the seventh floor, and my window faced the main street, offering an amazing view
You could even find instant noodles in the old town (this trip was so long, I actually missed them!). The staff were all professional. Furthermore, I felt the strength of the Accor Group in France
The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of Lyon, close to all the sights, restaurants, and boutiques.
Spent 7 nights here, fantastisch location close to shopping street, Maine square of New Lyon and alsof close enough to walk to old Lyon. Breakfast was plenty but every morning the same. Good housekeeping it was very neat
The location was great! It's convenient to go anywhere!
The room was also very clean.
The only thing that bothered me was the weak water pressure in the shower.
The breakfast selection was plentiful. There was also a small supermarket near the hotel; a quick Google Maps search would take you there
Very nice hotel, ideally located, right in the center of Lyon, valet parking, very good and private spa, excellent breakfast... very good
Lovely old style hotel, must’ve been very grand in its day. Only stopped in for the 1 night and couldn’t fault it.
Located in the best part of Lyon. Atmospheric, all rooms are different and nicely decorated.
The room is great, and the breakfast is so delicious.
For the price, this hotel is fantastic. Everyone who works there is really helpful, and everyone speaks English, which is a huge plus for me. My only issue was the air conditioning, or serious lack of it
She handled any requests with professionalism and aplomb. I also want to thank two of the other gentlemen at the front desk maybe in their mid to late 20's that were very helpful and professional as well
We had a very good rest, likely and largely due to the very positive aura of the whole place (I imagine how decades and even centuries of prayers that took place here from the time it was a monastery/nunnery has brought about the serenity and blessing you could feel palpable in the air ☺️)
However, some basic research beforehand would have helped. The breakfast wasn't as good as I expected, just average. The steaming water in the hotel swimming pool was actually quite cold; it was just too cold outside
Her manner…poised, attentive, effortlessly kind…embodied the spirit of hospitality that makes this place world-class. The building itself, once a 19th-century convent and boarding school, still carries its calm dignity
Not enough words can fully describe this modernly-refurbished fairy-tale hotel, its surrounding and location, also the lovely breakfast offering in a wonderful setting - a great albeit too short stay for our one night stop in Lyon
However, the advantage is that everything is within easy walking distance; even the river is only a 15-minute walk downhill. The room was decent, quite large, but not very warm and didn't offer much of a view
Every detail seems considered: the polished wood, the measured quiet of the rooms, the view of Lyon that reminds you why this hill has always been sacred ground. To rest here is to feel time slow down

Rooms are kept clean. Special international dishes. Clean and green area. Spacious parking area is available. Sunny poolside paradise.
Some parts of the room are old, like the furniture, and they weren't very clean, but the bed, which is the most important thing, and the sheets were very good
Nice place. Rooms are clean and good service by staff.
ok place, close to the train station, has a distinctively 80s vibe
The location is ideal and the welcome is warm. However, the room is cramped and lacks comfort, with a stuffy atmosphere. It would be nice to have a tea and coffee maker available for added convenience.
Well-located hotel near Part Dieu train station. The room, however, is poorly equipped and not very large. Cleanliness also needs to be reviewed.
