Marriott Lyon Cité Internationale in Lyon

Quite a lackluster/unimpressive hotel. I booked a suite and upon check in the hotel told me the suite isn’t available - shows general carelessness in service. The balcony door in my room wasn’t able to be fully closed and locked and anyone could theoretically access that balcony. The temperature of the room could not be adjusted - there was just one universal temperature and if you didn’t like it you had to turn off the air con. The bed sheets were quite dirty with blood stains from a previous guest that were not washed off properly. The bathroom shower fixtures were loose and unstable and water would leak out of the shower unit whenever taking a shower. You call the front desk and half the time nobody answers. One of the elevators was not working for 2 days and nobody bothered to fix it. The breakfast food was also very basic and the eggs were not even fully cooked properly. I would say that the price of the hotel was reasonable. Generally, gives off a vibe of carelessness and disregard.
