Our focus was of course Restaurant Pic which we thoroughly enjoyed, and also delighted by the Bistro André, our beautiful room and amazing breakfast. Definitely worth the travel from London.

The only issue I had was when checking out, we needed extra time because the enticing bath tub took forever to fill up. They wanted to charge £200 to extend one hour. They did eventually reverse that decision.

A relaxing, interlude to our trip into the Rhone valley. Very attentive staff who met our every need.

The hotel stay and restaurant visit was a first class experience. Extremely professional and very kind staff. Excellent quality of dinner and breakfast.

Fabulous stop on the way from The Neherlands to Spain. We booked the Pic Restaurant, to be amazed by the quality of the service, products and technique. Conveniently located near the city, but easily reachable from the highway. The Hotel was excellent too, although a Spa would have been lovely.

An amazing hotel with two amazing restaurants. It was the perfect choice for our wedding anniversary.

I have always wanted to visit Maison Pic. I booked 1 year ahead to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We stayed tow nights to enjoy the gourmet dinner on 1st evening and André brasserie on the 2nd night. Deluxe room was spacious, clean and luxurious. From start to finish we had a great time, with wonderful staff, brilliant service. The history of the restaurant and family is very special and one of the reasons I wanted to go there and meet Ann Sophie Pic. It did not disappoint. The food speaks for itself, fresh, delicious with amazing texture combinations. Excellent wines, cocktails and non alcoholic cocktails. The gardens were tranquil and relaxing, despite the premises being in the town. The bonus of a small swimming pool in the back was lovely. The breakfast though wonderful but was a bit carb heavy, and perhaps a balance with eggs and bacon etc, with less breads/pastries would be nice. But to be honest everything was delicious and the value in the brasserie and quality was very good. 10 course menu was amazing and portions very generous. I will be coming back again and may have a few friends along as well! Thank you to all the staff who made our trip very special. Especially, for the mini tour as well and our celebration cake. Practical points: easy access by train from Lyon but take the TER from Lyon Part Dieu to Valence ville centre (not the TGV). Taxi from station less than 5 minutes. From the hotel you can easily walk into town for shopping, the city gardens and site seeing with plenty of restaurants . Valence is a nice stop on the way down to Avignon, should you choose. Maison Pic has parking available on advance notification.

This is truly a beautiful inn attached to a Michelin 3 star restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully done . Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms with their French cosmetics were quite luxurious. The theme is understated elegance . The heated swimming pool is wonderful to swim laps in. Daybeds around the pool are a nice place to relax. The staff all try hard to please and succeed We did not think we could sit for a 10 course meal so we ate in the more casual bistro twice. The food was excellent but my favorite was the special chocolate mousse which was one of the best desserts of my life. The tariff is high but it’s worth if for a night or two. Make sure you go to Cité Chocolate by Valrhona which is close by

We stayed for one night to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. The level of service from all the team at Maison Pic both before we arrived, at check-in, during our stay and at check-out was exceptional. During our short visit the hospitality we received was world class, every single staff member we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The garden / grounds of the property were so peaceful and like heaven on earth, the pool area was just wonderful to relax at for a couple of hours and I wish we could of stayed for longer.. We were lucky enough to have a reservation for the 10 course tasting menu in the restaurant Anne-Sophie Pic, this was the reason for our trip as it was somewhere my husband had always wanted to visit. The food. presentation and service was fabulous, each course was explained to us and presented so beautifully, the taste of every dish and the creativity and thought that the chef(s) put into the dishes were just mind-blowing. We are in awe of their talent and the memories of both dinner and our breakfast will be something we will talk about for years to come. What we found really lovely is that Anne-Sophie visitied each table during dinner service to personally greet the diners. Another lovely and thoughtful touch is that they presented my husband with a delicious (extra) dessert with a candle for his birthday. Truly a place and experience that we will never forget. Thank you team Maison Pic for all that you did during our short stay with you. we hope to be lucky enough to return one day.
