The staff was very nice, Excellent service. The spa is great. The breakfast was very good. The bar was very pleasant. The room was extremely clean and well designed.

I am not sure why this hotel gets such high ratings. It is outside the city of vannes and is in a large big box store parking area. The hotel istelf is nice but basic. Rooms small with a few scuff marks on the paint. So it is an ok hotel but nothing great and quite out of the way

Nice, modern hotel with free parking on site. Close to shops and restaurants. The center of Vannes is not far away and definetly worth a visit. My room was far too hot but with no way to reduce the heat. Wonder how it is to stay here in the middle of summer? Room was otherwise clean and neat. Typical modern furniture. Apparently there is also a Spa. I did not try the breakfast.

The privilege room included a mini bar stocked with soft drinks and a coffee machine. Saturday night was noisy from the night club next door, Sunday there was no problem. Hotel parking costs 10 euro but there is a free car park across the road.

We liked the choices for breakfast, especially the nuts.

Best times for this hotel have been 10 years ago. Lot of things outdated. Needs a refurb. Staff was friendly though.

It was a pleasure to spend my time in this hotel. The conditions were good — nothing to complain about. The room was cleaned every day, and the bed was comfortable. The room service staff were very nice. On the first day, even after the restaurant had already closed, I was still able to get a mint tea delivered to my room. Overall, I had a very nice stay and would gladly return.

It is a simple hotel. Good breakfast. The room amenities are limited somewhat less than I expected. We chose the most expensive room and still it was only ok. Good for short stay.

The location is 500 meters from the old town. There is a free city parking nearby. The room is spacious, with a small balcony. Clean and cozy. There is no refrigerator in the room.

Although the hotel was very busy there were enough staff to keep everyone happy, always smiling and helpful. The room was comfortable.

This hotel is just off the motorway, free parking. On entering the hotel is clean and staff friendly. Rooms tired , basic they need an upgrade. 1.5 miles to walk to the city. I wouldn’t use this hotel as it’s too far out. Great area to explore nearby though by car.

Good location, good value for money, bus in city are frequent and cheap. Staff friendly and helpful especially as we do not speak french. Vannes has a lot to off for the visitors.

Lovely calm hotel. Friendly reception staff. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast room was excellent and a lovely continental range. Could get hot drinks or alcoholic beverages from the bar area. Big car park and easy walk to town centre. Would return if in the area.

We had a lovely spacious room with a superb balcony. Food in the restaurant was excellent and we indulged ourselves in the Cave which was an extra bonus to a great stay. Very pleasant walk into Vannes itself, superb location and must return to this area very soon.

We take the time to leave a very positive opinion on both the hotel and the catering section. After several stays we can only recognize the friendliness of the staff, the excellent quality/price ratio for the Hotel and Catering section... the location which allows easy access to the center of Vannes but also to the bicycle and pedestrian walks of the Gulf... My partner and I had to find a hotel urgently because the hotel we were going to wanted payment by credit card but we could only pay in cash. The receptionist was very nice. Being invited to a wedding in Vannes, we needed a hotel room for the following night. We did not regret our choice. Charming hotel, on a human scale, not a building. Very clean, well appointed rooms. The reception is open 24 hours a day. Very satisfying breakfast. Parking surrounding the hotel.

Lovley hotel with good views My stay was good. Room was perfect and balcony an added bonus. Menu is mostly seafood as to be expected. The hotel has a standard hear leave throughout including rooms 22 in Dec is cold for me.

This hotel is getting old and used, The service is ok (our room phone didn't work, so when I called the front desk from my own, then they were more concerned about selling me breakfast than fixing my phone). We used the disabled accessible room. The bathroom is tight for wheel chair access. A severe lack of grab handles that must be addressed. Catering is too 'formula'. As veggies a plate of chip or a salad would have been nice.

Vannes is a beautiful place. The hotel was very comfortable and situated very close to the train station and a short walk to the town centre and the harbour. Breakfast was typically continental. Fresh OJ and excellent coffee.

Good basic hotel, excellent staff Used this hotel either side of attending a music festival in Brittany. On the outskirts of Vannes just off the motorway. Taxi to station about €11 to the town centre about €15. Bus route 8 calls hourly during day and fares €1.50 to from station/city. Hotel is on an industrial estate with other hotels and businesses within vicinity. Outside of hotel is tired looking...

It’s ok , you get what you pay for .. a bed If you want more pay more! Not bad

For a one star hotel this one more than satisfied our needs. A comfy bed and a shower and toilet, air conditioning and nearby to a restaurant. What more could a traveller ask for for one night

The hotel is nice, and the reception staff are very helpful. On the downside, the breakfast fell far short of my expectations for the price.

A beautifully presented hotel. The room was immaculate, as was everywhere else in the hotel. Oodles of hot water in the well-appointed bathroom. Comfortable bed with good pillows. The staff cannot be faulted and I'd like to pay a particular compliment to Arthur, on reception when we checked in, for his service which went above and beyond.

I did not take advantage of the Spa but the hotel is very conveniently located, the rooms and beds are modern but, still quaint and comfortable.

Overall the stay was fine. Needed to change rooms initially because of a noisy generator. Very small fitness area and the sauna/hammam is only accessible for an extra fee. The bed was comfortable, although the water pressure for the shower wasn't great. Staff were nice. Check-out at 12 was convenient.

Clean, comfortable, helpful staff, great location, secure basement car parking not too expensive. But: noisy heating (can be turned off at night); not having tea/coffee making in room is a deal-breaker for me. Bottled water supplied, but not every day.

Very nice hotel near to harbour

The only fault was that the tea/coffee making facility in the room wasn't very well stocked. As an English visitor, the choice of an English breakfast tea would have been welcomed as well as the herbal varieties offered. There was also no milk. Whilst I am sure the concierge would have obliged had we phoned, it wasn't so important that we felt to need to call.

Good location opposite station and walkable to town centre. Welcome was friendly and allowed case to be left. Breakfast included and of high quality.

After dark arrival made this a good choice. Easy, short walk from train. My single room was exceptionally clean and had all essentials. Breakfast was a highlight. Reception staff kindly assisted and tolerant of my language deficit. Would highly recommend.

This is a very nice hotel, it has great service, convenient location close the the station but also to the city center. . It is nicely renovated with love to beautiful details, very good breakfast with a lot of home made food. We were very happy, it is very recommendable

A lovely location, a short 10 stroll to some lovely bars and restautants, and beautiful buildings. A smalll shelf in the shower would be useful to put your shower gel on, if I put it on the floor, I wouldn't be able to pich it up again. The owners were lovely, sending us the door code and our room numbersas it we were quite late cheching in.

Located near the station, the obliging owner let us in during their mid-day closure to leave our bags, and even gave us the key to our room immediately. The room was small but clean well laid out. Breakfast featured homemade yogurt, applesauce and jam and had a mini crepe machine. The warm family vibe was a nice change from the chain hotels. Recommended!

Entering the designated room, we discovered that it lacked electricity. There was somebody working on the issue but without any guarantee of success. The staff did not think that that was a sufficient reason to provide different accommodation. The staff at the front desk seemed to be prepared to deny help no matter what the request was.

The staff there was very welcoming, friendly and everything was clean in the hotel. The reason I put only 3 stars is because the room was small, there were only 2 drawers for our clothes. The breakfast was good but very expensive for the amount of choices (12€ per person and per day).

Loving family-run hotel in a central location Well furnished, but very small rooms. Rather unsuitable for families with children. Just right for adventurous vacationers. Note: parking is very good and free around Art Palais But be careful! The multi-storey car park is not open at night or on Sundays

Super professional staff, helped to find our towed car (watch the signs!) The breakfast is superb, do not miss it. Clean and cozy, big wall on the window view, close to supermarket and stores and also the nice entrance of the old walled city and the tourist zone. We will be back.

Nice place, clean. For not much money and during the week had a room with a bath. Breakfast seems like really good and not too expensive. Also a large parking lot, or enough for a long vehicle (6 meters) like mine.

Rooms were not much more than beds and a small bathroom, but was clean and modern. Air conditioned room was fantastic during the heat to cool off. Breakfast in the morning is very basic and if you want enough food at an appropriate temperature you should get there early as it all had run out by the time we got there. Nice restaurant right next to the hotel for dinner.
