This is a hard one to review. The staff were really nice and helpful. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well and was a godsend in the heatwave. There is extra glazing on the windows to keep the noise out and the room was really quiet. The beds and pillows were really comfortable and we had plenty of space for three.
However, it is true that the decor and atmosphere is somewhat lacking and outdated and it’s not a hotel to go to for chic holiday ambience. It’s definitely more on the business side as far as vibes go - fine for me but my wife and son were initially not impressed. But - look past that and as well as all the good points above it’s also in a perfect location for old town Vannes and does offer limited parking (even if there were some mixups for us there). So it’s cool, clean, well located, has parking and doesn’t cost a fortune. Great value I think. I’d give it 5 stars in that context but 4 stars seems appropriate overall.
One point I would add - they seem to use quite a strong citrus smelling cleaner in the rooms and corridors which took a bit of time to get used to. A less strident odour might be good.

Located just outsider the old Town of Vannes. We couldn’t have asked for more. The room was a good size, very clean and confortable with extra pillows and blankets. Very helpful front desk. The service was impeccable and a very nice breakfast all for a very reasonable price. We recommend very highly. Many thanks for a great stay in Vannes.

Entering the designated room, we discovered that it lacked electricity. There was somebody working on the issue but without any guarantee of success. The staff did not think that that was a sufficient reason to provide different accommodation. The staff at the front desk seemed to be prepared to deny help no matter what the request was.

We felt the staff were not particularly welcoming and not all smartly dressed. They did not acknowledge us when passing the front desk or engage in conversation at any time. No information given re meals or timings.
Staff were absent from the front desk in the mornings. They seemed to be more involved clearing breakfast.
Refreshment tray in room inadequate. One teabag per room for two people staying overnight!
Likewise milk cartons. Had to go down to reception to request for morning use. Asked if I wanted one or two! No coffee supplied without special request at reception.
Paper cups supplied for hot drinks in room unsatisfactory and unpleasant.
The hotel is in a convenient central position and clean, but the above issues marred our visit.

Huge room. Very lovely colleagues working. Free parking…15 minute walk to Center and you are really fast on the highway if you’re going to see other stuff in the area. I really like the shower which is maybe a weird comment haha

We didn't get to eat any pizza, the place opened at 6 and the ovens weren't even hot at 6.30. The man at the counter told us it would take half an hour for the ovens to be hot.. Shame, we were really looking forward to a pizza from this place, but we had to leave..
