Hôtel du Jeu de Paume Hotel in Versailles

The employees at the hotel were lovely. The hotel manager, Anthony, was very sweet and courteous. I enjoyed a great conversation with him during check-out.

There is no A/C but the location is very close to the Versailles Palace. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Very good hotel

The room was very clean and the staff were all very kind. It was also more than twice as spacious as the one in Paris. I wanted to stay there for about a month. I highly recommend it.

I can truly recommend this place. Very suitable apartments, well located. Parking is a challenge, but once you make a few laps you can find something for free until morning. If you want to pay, there's no issue; there are a lot of options.

The location is great, right next to the Palace of Versailles. The elderly gentleman at the front desk was very kind. French hotels are generally like this – simple yet historically significant, so there's not much to say. The soundproofing was excellent; I slept soundly even by the roadside.

Cute small hotel. Perfect for visiting the Palace and close to many eating spots. The staff here was so friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. Rooms are small, but have everything you need.

Charming and comfortable boutique hotel, located within three minutes’ walk of the Palace of Versailles, with plenty of great bars and restaurants on its doorstep. The only drawback is there’s no A/C, apart from a desktop fan. As summers get hotter and hotter in Paris, keep that in mind when booking. Historical note: Having stayed here fifty years ago with my parents, I know it’s one of the oldest buildings in Versailles; in 1974 the original medieval timber framework of the structure had been made a feature of the building’s interior. Sadly, it’s now covered up again.
The street is one of the oldest in Versailles, pre-dating the Palace. For students of the French Revolution, the hotel is a few metres from the Jeu de Paume tennis court, location of one of the key events in the Revolution.

Great location (close to Versailles). Person behind the desk was friendly. Our room was neat and smelled nice (a bit too perfumey- but okay - tastes differ ;) ). We had a room with bathroom which was nice. Unfortunately, there is no ventilation possible in the bathroom area, so we had to air out the bathroom through the room windows (which the mosquitoes loved). We could have some tea and Nescafé in our room which was nice.
We didn't have breakfast as we usually like to explore the city and try its restaurants.
All in all, a pleasant and comfortable stay.

The location of this hotel is extraordinary! Only take 3 minutes walk to Palace of Versailles. Our Twin room is on the top floor pavilion with beautiful garden view. The hospitality is beyond expectations. However, the hotel doesn’t offer air conditioner, which could be a little pity during summer visit.

The bedding could’ve been changed. The tissue roll had stains on it. The AC was not working. Overall peaceful
