Ibis Paris Hotel in Boulogne-Billancourt

I had a room booked for two nights and a booking confirmation but when I arrived at midnight the receptionist had already closed his "system" and told me multiple times that he had check-in all rooms and was not waiting for anybody else. Despite me showing booking confirmation and having two colleagues already checked in, he kept on telling me that the check in system was closed and he was unable to verify whether I had a room and that in any case, from his standpoint everybody was checked in already and all rooms were occupied. I had to leave and find another solution in the middle of the night despite a confirmed booking. I came back in the morning and indeed my room was confirmed and available. They were not able to explain what had happened. I will not be back and inform my company that we should not take the risk to book ever again here. If you do, please double check with the hotel before going there.
