Royal Hôtel in Versailles

My husband and I plus a friend were originally booked in for 2 nights, we ended up staying 3 nights as Eurostar didn’t run for 24hrs due to WW2 bomb being discovered. The hotel was perfect and central as a base to explore Versailles. The rooms very individual, the beds were very comfortable and shower was excellent. We are so glad we booked breakfast as there was plenty of food including different varieties of homemade cake and preserves each morning, the service was very personal and attentive in a non invasive way. The owners were very approachable and friendly and advised us about visiting Versailles and working out how to get to back to Paris. The location of the hotel was perfect, 5 minutes from the station, 10-15 minutes to the Palace of Versailles, it could not have been located any better. If in the area again would absolutely stay again.

Wonderful service, great location close to both the train station and Versailles castle. Has a lift if you don’t like stairs and we were able to store our luggage before check-in. Thank you for having us!

A nice simple little hotel very close to the chateau, the marketplace, train station and pub street. Recommended.

Quiet, pretty, comfortable hotel close to the train station, the palace, and great dining options. The people running the place were very helpful as well. I’d definitely stay here again.

Very helpful and nice staff, nice location (only 7-8 min walk to my group tour meetup point). The room is decent, just be aware no air-conditioning, just a fan, and small shower space.
