Loved this hotel and the location! Close to the walled city ( easy walk) with lots to see and experience. The room was comfortable but on the smaller side for the USA but maybe not for European standards. It had all we needed and the property itself was beautiful. All the employees were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This is a very good hotel. Well maintained, ideally located for exploring the old city Carcassonne, convenient parking. Larger rooms in the far away wing are best. Breakfast could be crowded but provides everything one usually needs. Overall, a good value. I recommend it. Easy to reach from A61 motorway.

Le Parc is an elegant hotel with really helpful staff. The attention to detail is truly amazing. All in all a lovely base for a short visit to lovely Carcassonne.

Very helpful staff, especially the evening gentleman at the desk who went out of his way to help us. We thought the suite was beautifully decorated—very kool and artistic. This hotel was exactly what I wanted : a bit old-fashioned but elegant. Breakfast was great, and the lady on duty offered alternatives for dietary restrictions. Only problem: the bath wasn't working, and I had really been looking forward to it after a very wet and windy day.

Great place to rejuvenate and experience peace.  The window overlooks the medieval town- truly gorgeous and magical.  The receptionist speaks english and helps me in finding places.  When i asked for someone to look at my shower 🚿 and the caddy to fetch me to the car park, the response was fast.  Thank you manager Xavier for caring especially during the windy weather !

Obviously the best part is the location. Inside the walls of the old castle. But there is more to it. Food is excellent, service is very friendly. The rooms are the weak point. They are more 3 stars than 5. But they are big and many have just amazing views. Frankly it is so unique it is for me a place not to miss. I went there 6 or 7 times already. The location is absolutely unbeatable - stepping out the front door, I was practically at the gates of the medieval city. The hotel is 30-40 minutes from the train station and 25-30 minutes from the castle. Overall, it was fine, but we couldn't get the air conditioning to heat, and it was quite chilly, about 20°C. There were some issues with the lock, but they were quickly resolved. Breakfast wasn't very varied.

Our room was immaculate and all the staff very welcoming and helpful. There was no kettle but we were provided with one when requested. The pool was a lovely addition. It was in a quiet location about 30 minutes walk from medieval city. The area around the hotel was a retail park and a bit shabby. The busy road and state of footpaths meant that taxi or bus is safer option. We really enjoyed our stay

My wife and I, travel Europe on a motocycle. When in France we usually book into the Ibis. Deals are good, locations on weekends mainly industrial areas offer good prices and very quiet enviroment. We are here to see the castle, and we planned to stay one night then go to Toulouse. Overall The hotel is okay, what surprised me is the room is equipped with AC, I had some hotels are expensive than this one but no AC…. anyways, we used AC a bit in the afternoon and turned off at night, because it’s “cold”. We said they only offered that option, and they looked like I had no idea... they charged us the taxes and that was it. Very special hotel on a tranquil, well maintained property convenient to Carcassonne without the chaos. Spent two peaceful nights in a very comfortable room. We visited Catherine and Eric’s place during summer 2024 with our boys. They are such thoughtful hosts and the area is brimming with things to explore. Lovely small and quiet hotel, just a few steps outside the city walls of old Carcassonne. Easy to get to from the airport by bus. We didn't have, or need a car. Friendly staff. Bar is open all day for hot/cold drinks and snacks. Only minor criticism of the room was that there was no fridge although to be fair, the room was quite small and there was not really space for one.

A really well placed hotel, with some of the most friendly and helpful staff that I've ever encountered in a hotel! Breakfast was a real surprise, a good variety on offer. I thought that the bathroom was dimly lit, and the mould marks in places were unsightly - but it all worked and was absolutely adequate. I would definitely stay here again. A fabulous Italian restaurant is a short walk away too...

Hotel ok, nearby alarm not ok. Good location for the airport and great value, friendly check in, room compact but had everything you need. Bit tatty and not super clean. Biggest problem was at 11pm and 3am an alarm in one of the nearby retail units went off for about 15 mins at a time. Not a lot the hotel can do about the alarm but did mess up a much needed night's sleep before an early flight.

Lovely little hotel however the bathroom smelled of backed up sewerage.

Good Location This hotel is located just outside the old city walls and about 25 mins walk from train station. Rooms are quite small, breakfast is good and staff very helpful. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

Due to the weather we could not do much it was way too hot however the hotel was only a 2 minute walk to the Carcassonne Castle which was very convenient and the staff were very helpful and always willing to help. But transportation was very expensive and the distances were far. Otherwise everything was great!

Such an excellent location, right under the medieval cité but away from the business. There are plenty of lovely places to have dinner a short walk away, and it is also a very short walk over the bridge and into La Bastide for cafes and shops around Place Carnot. The swimming pool is quiet and was very welcome in such hot weather! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

High End Huge room with singles for the kids and air con that actually works. Set away from the main building but quiet and only a 5 minute walk up to the castle. Pool area is tranquil and the pool is lovely but gets deep quickly more aimed at adults rather than families. Breakfast is an add on and aims to be all natural and up market.

We stayed in a bungalow next to the main chateau in a massive room w/ badly dated finishes. The cost was something like €700 for the night, breakfast not included. We don’t mind spending money on accommodation but this felt like a clip job. I believe they are renovating the main chateau but for now the rooms are dated and uncomfortable.

Your home away from home Truly a remarkable property and the 3 generations of family ownership is absolutely wonderful. They couldn't have made us feel any more welcome. Beautiful hotel in one of the most fabulous cities in the world. Perfect for swimmers and golfers but a wonderful place to visit all year round. Furnishings terrific; restaurant splendid. Carcassone is a gem.
