An end of holiday hotel chosen to be near the airport. The taxi fare from the railway station was 13.5 euro for 2 people.
A small room with excellent air-conditioning, quiet and clean.
We walked to the airport 15 minutes away, not very scenic through industrial units, but quiet and peaceful in the morning.
The nice surprise was the excellent standard of the restaurant, a high quality, reasonably priced meal in pleasant surroundings.

Easy to find. Parking on site. By a busy road but room was quiet once the door was closed.

Booking cancelled on afternoon of arrival!
On the way to the hotel in a taxi to check in before an early flight the next morning, I received a message saying they could not honour our booking!

We stayed at the Hotel Kyriad in Carcassonne for two nights and had a very pleasant experience.
Our room was comfortable, with a big bed and nice air conditioning. We especially liked the option to connect our smartphone to the TV. Wi-Fi was also good. A small fridge in the room as well as toiletries would be a nice addition to have in my opinion.
We also really enjoyed the breakfast: there were plenty of options, and everything was fresh and tasty. Dinner at the hotel was also good.
The staff were excellent: very welcoming and friendly, they spoke several languages and were always ready to help.
There’s also a small sauna and hammam available by reservation, with 45-minute private slots: a nice extra touch to relax.
It’s outside the city and for us it was great as we were coming by car.
Overall, great value for the price we paid!

Excellent stay
Excellent service from two friendly and helpful receptionists/bar staff.
The pool was perfect for a moderately hot day (25 degrees).

The staff were extremely helpful. They assisted me in anyway they could. The property was clean and the resteraunt was superb.

Everything was perfect! The staff were friendly and spoke many languages, which really surprised me. The rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable — and for me, a comfortable bed is the most important thing. The breakfasts were delicious. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you, Carcassonne, for the warm welcome!

The hotel is quite basic. Good if you are not going to use the facilities much or if it is a passing hotel. Despite this, it has a swimming pool and several supermarkets, a shopping center and several fast food nearby. But to see the city you will need a vehicle. I didn't see any transportation options. Just the right size for two adults and one child.,not for three adults. Comfortable bed. Kettle. The shower is very slippery.
