Funky B&B centrally located in Montpellier with great on-site parking for 3 euros. No reception, and we had to tell the manager at what time we would arrive so that he could give us access. The Chinese housekeeper/breakfast chef was charming. I was amused to find that her English was better than her French. Our room was large but very old-fashioned. Steep staircase to access it. Nice view on the park, which is supposedly off limits to hotel guests. Altogether a rather strange experience, but so convenient for our road trip, and dinner in town with an old friend, as other centrally-located hotels in Montpellier in the pedestrian zone make it difficult for those on a driving trip.

Great, unusual hotel
A very quirky, stylish hotel with a fine restaurant and an excellent wine selection. The interiors are unusual and very tasteful.

An oasis in Montpellier, what a find. Very arty interiors and superb hospitality from everyone we encountered. We ate dinner on the tree shaded terrace, heritage tomatoes with a creamy burrata followed by monkfish and an excellent cheese selection. A real gem.
