Marc, Étienne and Jaja are phenomenal hosts! My friend an I had an excellent time staying at Couette et Café. The breakfast is delicious and made with love. Our room was clean, cozy with a comfortable bed.The terrace is enchanting, the perfect place to start and end the day. The b&b is a short walk to transit and super easy to get downtown for exploring and shopping. Marc and Étienne really went above and beyond even helping us troubleshoot our charging our EV. They are both so kind. My friend and I agree we will definitely return. Thank you both so much!

Marc and Étienne thank you for the most heartfelt and relaxing time! Couette et Café is an absolute gem. My friend and I visited in early July and we had an excellent stay. The breakfast was delicious and made with the love. The room was perfect: clean, comfortable beds, cozy and chic. The terrace is gorgeous and enchanting. Marc at Étienne have really built an experience full of generosity and thoughtfulness. They even went above and beyond to help us troubleshoot charging our EV rental, too. Thank you both :) My friend and I agree we will definitely return for more Montpellier sunshine soon ＜3

I had agreed on accommodation, but the accommodation provider did not allow me to do so. He argues that I arrived late and thereby violated the terms and conditions. I have proof in the communication that he agrees to a later arrival due to traffic conditions. I had to find alternative accommodation myself around 12PM and provider refuses refundation.

Great Stay
Excellent property for a one night layover. Clean, quiet and easy free parking. Mark is a great host. Didn't have time to take downtown transportation.

The location and facilities were excellent. We were only staying for a night but it would have been comfortable for many more nights.
The location was excellent, close to the tram - but we didn’t use it as the local pizza restaurant was absolutely superb.
Marc and Etienne were fantastic hosts, welcoming and helpful. And meeting Zsa Zsa over the fantastic breakfast was a lovely bonus! ❤️

I can honestly say that when I next want (Montpellier is a gorgeous city) or need to come to this area, this is where I’ll stay

Absolutely superb. The welcome from Marc, Etienne and Zsa Zsa was warm and friendly. The location is excellent, close to transport and a great pizza place with secure, private parking. The room was large and beautifully decorated with everything we needed. And to top everything off, the breakfast was very high quality with some beautiful home produced items.

This place is awesome! The rooms are super clean and comfy, and the host is really nice. Breakfast is yummy and looks pretty, and the inner yard is amazing.

We had a pleasant welcome from the proprietors who very polite. The room was very clean and tidy. The bed was truly comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was excellent and very well presented (although the boiled egg was a little under done). So.....why only 3 out of 5? The shower didn't work well. One of the controls was broken and it was very difficult to operate. We told the proprietors about it and expected a thank you and to be told they would get it fixed. The response was surprising. "Oh, yes, we know. But it would be too expensive to change the shower valve.!" Not acceptable and a real shame.

We hired Couette et Cafe in villa format for 2 weeks with our 3 teenage children. It was perfect for us. We had 4 bedrooms, the pool, and an absolutely beautiful outside seating area. Everything was high spec, clean and modern. The whole place is stunning! We were impressed from the minute we were welcomed on arrival. The public transport around Montpellier is fantastic, with a tram and bus stop both within easy walking distance. Montpellier is a beautiful, lively city with a great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.

My husband and I stayed at the charming Couette-Caffe during the first week of July. We were travelling through France with a purpose: researching material for our next book. In spite of our demanding and stressful schedule, the Couette-Caffe owners turned our visit into a wonderful vacation. Etienne and Marc make you feel you are visiting with friends you knew forever and could relay on: whether you need a driving advice or to borrow an umbrella for a beach. Their B&B is elegant, tasteful, beautiful, with the best Montpellier location ever: easy access to highways to avoid the city traffic for travelling around the region and close enough to the city center to take public transportation. In addition, the breakfast looks like the work of art! We will always recommend Couette-Caffe in Montpellier to any of our friends, readers, and followers.
