Very good location, close to the city center. It takes no more than 5 minutes to walk from the nearest city parking to the hotel. Check in advance with the hotel about discounts on city parking. The discount is quite large. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable bed, good hot water pressure in the bathroom. Breakfast is enough for those who prefer to have a good meal in the morning. Very friendly staff.

We really liked the Best Western Hotel Le Guilhem. Sophie at the front desk is AMAZING! She was so helpful and speaks English really well. She helped us with navigating an issue that we could not figure out ourselves since we don’t understand or speak French. We were so grateful for her kindness!

As for the hotel itself, it is an older hotel and looks a little tired but we liked the old quirkiness of it. We stayed in what they called the “chamber room”. It was in the basement and looked like an old cellar. It had a garden terrace that was only accessible from this one room. The terrace garden was overgrown but it was charming. We thought it was a fun room to stay in. We will need to go back to Montpillier next spring and we will probably book the same room again.

Very nice hotel, centrally located. A bit worried about travel back to the airport, but the nearby tramline and then 620 bus workes smothly. Friendly staff. Very happy with the room ,nice outdors breakfast area.

All fine, rooms are nice and staff is great.
Only minus : we had an executive room located at 3rd floor. Just there is no elevator above 1st floor! So ask in advance where your room will be especially if you are not fit to climb some very twisted stairs!

Lovely staff, Lovely room, didn’t mind the decoration or slightly worn carpet. Well positioned and had a nice terrace to have breakfast on.

Wonderful small hotel, we did have the power going in and out, but the room was excellent otherwise, and the staff was a helpful as they could be under the circumstances. Wonderful location in the old city, a little hard to find, but well worth the stay and visit. Beautiful city. Recommended.

The staff was outstanding! All staff memebers were very friendly and kind. The only two things I didn't like about the hotel was (1) There were no slippers of even a complimentary bottle of still water in the room, and (2) the carpet in the hallway and stairway looked like it hadn't been shampoo-cleaned in years. Other than that, my visit was nice thanks to the friendly staff.

Disappointing
This was a bit disappointing. Hotel is in a great location but is really tired and badly needs a complete renovation.
Everything is run down and not great, even for a cheap hotel
