Hotel is closed. Booked for 16th April to find locked up and undergoing building works. Told by Caen Tourist information that the ex hotel owner sold around December 21. They said she told them her (the ex owners) booking.com account had been hacked by scammers and booking.com been informed. I have also told booking.com but the listing is still live today several days later.

I want to be careful. Not only was the check in from 18-21, they refused me accommodation at the time of my arrival! The phone was unavailable. I was forced to sit on the street until the morning, they just wrote "find another option." I booked in advance a little cheaper, the arrival was on Easter day, when there was a high demand for accommodation, and they decided to resell my booking for a better price. I did not expect such disgust from the French!

Excellent French cuisine! Very friendly staff and efficient service. They do speak English, which is favourable for foreigners. From bread to dessert, everything was delicious! The price was also reasonable.
