It was a very comfy bed and a great location.....especially because we saw the start of the Tour de France : ) We tried the recommended restaurants and liked them very much.

Disappointing! Do not recommend. A most sterile/unappealing stay. Where do I begin? No warmth or hospitality. Cold ambience. (And I have no problem with a modern aesthetic.) Not a hotel, B&B or guest house as promoted by numerous online resources. No breakfast as promoted either. No reception or any human contact whatsoever. All key codes. No elevator, which was never mentioned and we were on 3rd floor. No one to assist with bags, questions, directions, etc. Breakfast was not included as advertised. Amenities were bare minimum. No safe. No safety lock on door. Not at all convenient to Lille sights. The list goes on… Bottomline: stay elsewhere.

Great 3-day weekend in Lille, thanks in particular to the Esplanade! We really appreciated the courteous and efficient welcome upon arrival from the owner, as well as the attention and efficiency of Joe who welcomed us every morning for breakfast. Hearty and good breakfast. The room was spacious, quiet, clean and very well equipped. There is no front desk but we had everything we needed, including recommendations for nearby restaurants. The building, a bourgeois family house, is well located and very secure, with nearby transport. Really nothing to complain about, especially since, wishing to have twin beds, the owner graciously had an additional (comfortable) bed installed in the bedroom next to the double bed.

The best quality/price ratio that I have ever seen. A high-class establishment where every detail is designed to strive for excellence. The rooms are very spacious, the equipment and materials are of high quality. This particular hotel is truly special in the good sense of the word. A must-see.

There were 2 staffs working in the office in the morning only. This property is a combination between a boutique hotel & ABNA. There are no other facilities.

Nice surprise for this guest and arts house! Large, well-equipped bedroom decorated with the original theme of this house. Located near the esplanade (Zoo, rides and the citadel) Discovery of the center of Lille on foot (approximately 15 minutes) Full breakfast with several choices Kindness of the owner Finally an excellent address 👍
