The gym is a great place, the restaurant is huge, and there are bags to pack! 👍

Pretty good! We booked a triple room and they upgraded us to a six-person room, plus let us check in early.

The location is good, but the experience could have been better, the room were quite hot, showers had no locks, and the bathroom and showers are quite packed. Service was okay, allowed us to store bags, but it can get a bit clumsy (room allocations / beds)

It was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had. Even though I had accidentally booked a bed in a female-only room (while I’m a man), the receptionist still let me take the key card without informing me on the spot that I probably wouldn’t be able to stay the night. On top of that, she charged me the city tax, fully aware that I might not be able to stay.
Even though I understand that I wasn’t eligible for the female-only room, which is fine, she didn’t even give me the ticket for the next day’s breakfast. In other words, she clearly knew there was a high chance I wouldn’t stay the night, and she didn’t tell me anything at check-in. Honestly, it was really bad experience !

Many young adults, great atmosphere and hostel looks really cool and aesthetically pleasing. It’s in the centre so everything is near, great connection with transport. I would really recommend staying there

The hostel is nice and really good location but i Dont like that you can check in only around 3 and then have to check out around 10am, to much Time for cleaning and to early to check out.

WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD. The curtains are transparent - even my sunscreen is better at blocking out sunlight. Soundproofing is poor, we could hear our neighbors getting ready next door, taking the stairs, slamming their doors etc., not to mention the partygoers chatting downstairs (we lived on the third floor). The elevator wasn’t working when we checked in so we had to get our 20 kg suitcases up the stairs ourselves - apparently, the elevator frequently breaks down because people always overload it. The bedding is nearly threadbare, and the quilt is rough like flaking de@d skin. If you turn up the AC above 15°C, it automatically switches off after a few minutes. Most unpleasant is the bathroom, which is always moist due to the lack of ventilation; you could only open the window if you don’t mind getting a face full of cigarette fumes from outside.
When I talked to the hostel manager/owner J0nathan about this, he dismissed my concerns and insisted there was nothing wrong with the rooms. He is easily the most disr3spectful person I’ve encountered in Nice. His three arguments were: no one has complained about this (he did not read the google reviews), everyone gets the same set of curtains, beddings etc and therefore there is nothing wrong with it (logical fallacy because that could mean everyone gets the same substandard equipment) and no refund is possible because “that is not the way things are done here”.
The only thing I liked about the hostel was the location.

Great Value for money Hostel. Excellent Location with access to Tram and Metro Stations within 5 mins of walking distance. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s coming to Nice on a budget trip.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, which was definitely a highlight of our stay. However, our experience was mixed. We arrived around 7:30 PM and checked into our room, only to find that there was no power. We promptly informed the front desk, expecting to be moved to a new room, but instead, a technician was sent up to address the issue. With our dinner reservations at 8:45 PM, we found ourselves in a warm room without air conditioning, waiting for over 30 minutes while the technician worked on the problem. This situation made it difficult for us to get ready for our non-refundable dinner reservation.
After some back and forth, the front desk kindly accommodated us in the only room they had available, which happened to be the penthouse. We were very grateful for this upgrade and understood that we would need to move to a regular room the next morning.
Unfortunately, when we moved to our new room the following day, we encountered additional issues. The room had ants, the air conditioning didn’t work, and there was a noticeable mildew smell. Given that the hotel was fully booked, there wasn’t much that could be done at that point.
While we appreciated the effort made to upgrade us for the night, and the location is truly excellent, our overall experience was disappointing. Unless you’re able to book the penthouse, I would recommend considering other options.

the hotel was totally a nightmare, rooms are old,dirty. staff was ok but especially receptionist Irene was very rude. there are no shampoo or any vanity or conditioner in the room even they are 4 star hotel, just one shampoo for all body and hair at the same time :/ Also they have diffeent price system for same rooms we payed double price and the other day price down %80 and they did not help us. the partners' beach also terrible, we got sick after this hotel, never reccomend. do not go cause it is wasted money and time.

The hotel is old. The Room was not clean. Lots of dust everywhere. Smelly bathroom. AC does not work and it was very hot and humid inside.
I had to ask an iron 2 times during the day.
The lady on reception promised to give once it’s free. But it never came. I asked second time and got it at almost 12 am. They asked me to return in 1 hour because other guests are waiting…Means I had to iron my cloths at night!
I can only guess how 4 stars hotel can have 1 iron for all guests.
You can find much better options in Nice for the same price. With better service and clean rooms.

Visited Aston La Scala on my honeymoon and the only thing going for it is the location. It’s PRIME to say the least. Everything else is just beyond average…. This is a 2 maybe 3 star hotel acting like a 4 star. We arrived in Nice at roughly 11am and obviously we weren’t expecting to get into our room. The First lady we spoke to was lovely and said she would put us in a priority to get the room cleaned! Which we were greatly appreciative of. We explored the town and came back at 2pm asking if the room was ready (again I understand it’s before check in) and the original girl said she would confirm with a colleague. A Second Lady then started shaking her head and speaking in French in a harsh tone. We were then told it wasn’t ready. We waited in the lobby until 2:50pm until they eventually let us go up as if the 50 minutes had made a difference 🤣.
The room itself was clean however the bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated by someone that realised how expensive bathroom restoration is and said “nah I can do this”. See attached photos!
Also the blinds were coming off and one side only had one blind?
The alley way next to our room has a lot of noise of drunken people too and a brawl spewed out one night

very well located, and rooms are ok if you don’t intend to spend a lot of time in the rooms. Cleaning is not done well, and the rooms are old. Our shower had some moldy corners. Shampoo etc wasn’t refilled. Overpriced for the quality you get.
