Avocado tartar 3/5 stars - the chef mix the soft and unriped hard avocado so I think that’s not so professional for this top famous hotel Fish soup- 4/5 stars. The restaurant is very nice and cute. The food was amazing — everything we tried was delicious. The Steve Molinari fish soup was one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. The portions are generous: we ordered one tasting menu and, for the other person, a starter and a main dish — and we both ended up full. The staff was very friendly and professional. I only stayed at the hotel for 4 nights after 3 nights at another hotel in Nice, and I wish if I stayed there longer. It seems off the Nice city, but easily accessible to all major public transport including trams, only 15 minutes to Nice Ville train station, and main CBD; bus to visit Fragonard factory in Eze, and train station (only 10 minutes walk) to my day trip to Ventimiglia in Italy and Monte...

The room facilities were good, but the price was high during the summer. The location was pretty decent, within walking distance to various attractions, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. It was also close to a bus stop.

This place was well located. The room was spacious . You couldn’t use the cooker as it didn’t heat up enough to boil an egg There were jobs that needed doing around the hotel , eg only 1 out of 3 lights worked in the kitchen. The blinds were very dirty and stained.

This hotel was nice and clean but they did not clean the rooms and we had to take out the trash ourselves at the end of our stay. It has good value but you do have to pay €20 a day for parking and the tourist fee which adds up. The customer service was good, they only have two coffee pods for our 6 day stay. If you don’t have a car this is a bit far from everything.

There's a parking lot right next door, making parking incredibly convenient. It's across from a large supermarket, so shopping is a breeze. There's also a McDonald's within walking distance. The beach is a bit of a trek, but the sunrise from the balcony in the morning was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend for families.

The location is great. Service at reception is excellent. Unfortunately it is a budget hotel. Rooms are old and small. Could hardly fit the three of us. The bed mattress was old and uncomfortable. This hotel is 10min walk from the beach area and approximately 10 to 20 min walking to lots of restaurants and Old Nice. Check in was great, it's 230pm but we got our room at 2pm. Don't worry if you can't speak French, the staff do speak English but I would advise visitors to always greet the locals Bonjour, they will appreciate that. Right next to the train station, it's super convenient for transport. You can walk to the beach and the old town in about 20 minutes. The room was really small; we had to move the table just to open two 28-inch suitcases at the same time. There's a hairdryer. Downstairs, there's a supermarket where you can buy water and snacks.

Comfortable stay at this estate

Got a cute little room on the top floor. I like small room so everything is within 2 steps reach. I have a backpack only. If you have a big suitcase, get a bigger room. Nice walk between airport line tram station to the hotel. Shower closet is extra small. If you are large, check your room type if they come with a bigger shower.

The hotel's location is excellent, right on a bustling main street, yet surprisingly quiet in the rooms. The rooms are clean and tidy, with windows for ventilation and central air conditioning. It’s definitely 3 star hotel. Location was great, very convenient as it’s close to almost everything. The hotel is run down. Even though we had the upgraded room, there was no storage space for our things so we were living out of our suitcases. If we ever go back to Nice, we definitely will not stay there.

I have stayed at Le Maurice several times over the years. I love its art deco styling/theme. The staff are always very welcoming and the breakfast is superb. It is situated in a side street with a short walk to the Promenade des Anglais and there are countless cafes and restaurants in the immediate area.

The soundproofing is terrible, the toilet always smells bad, the shower water temperature keeps fluctuating, and there are lots of mosquitoes.

It's close to the city center and the central station, so it was very easy to get to the airport. The facilities were clean, but the shower room was small. It wasn't a problem for me since I'm small, but it might be small for men.

Aside from being large (the twin room had a king-size bed and a single bed) and being close to Niceville Station, the room had no other advantages. I only booked it because I had to get up early to catch a train the next day. We recommend booking a room facing the sea for a beautiful view. The economy rooms are located on the lower floor, where there are pipes from a restaurant, and the noise doesn't stop until after 10 PM.
