Bristol Hotel in Nice

This hotel is definitely not a 3-star hotel... The hygiene is poor and there are mosquitoes, but the location is indeed convenient. Also, don't walk around the hotel too late. The security is poor after dark. I stayed there for a total of 3 nights. It was the most expensive and worst hotel experience I have ever stayed in. On the first night, I went out in the afternoon. When I returned to the hotel at night, I found a strong smell of feces. I immediately went to the front desk to communicate, but the front desk staff said that the room was fully booked and there was no room to change. I was really upset. I was stuck with the smell of feces all night. I still had two nights to go. Fortunately, the hotel had another room for me the next morning. Thank you for the arrangement. The second room did not smell bad, but the hygiene was not very good. There were bugs crawling in the toilet.... Another thing is that I left a small jewelry box at the hotel when I checked out and packed my things, but I remembered to look for the hotel staff immediately when I got home, but they said they didn't have it. I knew it must be in the hotel, so everyone should be careful with your belongings when checking in.

I Booked on monday evening at 9m because of client meeting.
Client canceled tuesday morning so i canceled at 1pm.
Hotel told cancelation policy was full refundable until 12am.
So only for one hour, hotel billed 450€ only because i was 1 hour too late.

Worst, finally client decided to come. I have been aware a few later at 3PM on Tuesday and asked the hotel to re initiated the reservation i booked originally. HOtel refused.

Conclusion:
- I ( the agency in charge) payed full price this hotel but could not go ( because a few hours)
- I ( the agency in charge) had to pay another hotel

Very very disappointed that there is no flexibility in such an tourism/services industry.

A very rubbish hotel, located on a Middle Eastern street. I changed two rooms in a row and it was completely uninhabitable. The toilet in the first room was broken, and the air conditioner in the second room was a bit rotten and dirty. Compared with domestic guesthouses, you really shouldn’t stay there
