The location is fantastic – I could walk to almost all the popular spots, and it's super close to both the airport and train station. If I ever come back to Nice, I'd definitely book this hotel again
I had to sleep with earplugs as sea view rooms are road side, and it is a very busy road with average (++) noise reduction windows
The coastline in the early morning is beautiful.
The staff were really friendly, and the room was spacious with a beautiful view. The facilities felt more like a 3-star hotel, but everything was clean and well-stocked, which made up for it
They initially gave me a lower-tier room (picture 2), but when I saw the difference after opening the door, I immediately went back to the front desk to get the premium sea view room I had paid for (picture 1)
The breakfast were very high quality with a huge selection. The dining room area is very well laid out and includes indoor and outdoor seating. All of the staff were very friendly and spoke good English
Great location, and the sea-view room offers fantastic scenery. The service on the ground floor was excellent, the reception was standard, and the restaurant gets a thumbs-up!
The hotel offers a stunning panoramic view of Angel Bay, and its location is incredibly convenient for getting around. The weather was fantastic during my entire stay, making me want to just relax indoors
The Western breakfast served was pretty good, though I'd personally love to see some congee or rice added to cater to a Chinese palate like mine
One of the highlights of my stay was discovering the quaint cobblestone area just behind the hotel, which was filled with cafes, shops, and perfect spots for people-watching
unfriendly with single traveler that you have to watch ur coffee from being cleared despite note
I booked a sea-view room and could see the entire ocean from bed. The environment was clean, and most importantly, it was incredibly convenient
Perfect experience! The sea view is super beautiful. I also tried swimming and sauna in the hotel. It was really a bit too happy. The hotel is in a very good location, opposite the sea.
The sea view is first-rate, nothing to say. Except for the occasional maintenance noise during the day, it was OK most of the time, and the front desk was very friendly
I have a lot of praise for this hotel, especially its service. I had a spare phone, a relatively new one, which fell on the bed. I had already checked out and left my luggage at the hotel
When I came back from a day out, they immediately recognized me and gave me my phone
An amazing hotel! Excellent service! Wonderful delicious breakfasts!
Overall, it is traditional, but I am very satisfied with it
While its rooms are functional and clean, the real draw is the prime position near key places of interests, making all of Nice's key attractions—from shopping to the sea—effortlessly walkable
The rooms at the hotel are not necessarily the latest fashion and one can say for sure a bit used, but well, all I need is a good and clean bed, and it was very comfortable for a good night rest
A reliable choice in Nice, the Holiday Inn delivers on excellent service and comfort. The staff are frequently highlighted as friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall guest experience
Was an absolute delight staying at this property in Nice!
The staff went all out to make sure we were comfortable & well looked after!
It's overall an awesome team - especially at the reception!!!
Notably - Julia, Madina & Vincenzo!
The breakfast staff was lovely too!!
Well done for recruiting joyful people to represent your property!
We loved our stay there!
We had a great time at this hotel, It is centraly located in Nice city center.
Service was great, staff are very helpfull.
breakfast is recomended with many options for vegeterians..
I didn't have ant WIFI issues.
The hotel provides modern conveniences, including a good breakfast and facilities
My room was also facing the sea and as it was winter I could see the sunrise too
Absolutely love this hotel, Novotel never disappoints. Breakfast is amazing lots of choices and if you pick your hotel based on breakfast as I do, please proceed with booking this one as you won’t be disappointed
The hotel staff, the reception staff welcomed us with a smile and made sure that we are comfortable. They kept our baggage safe as our checkin time was 2pm and we arrived at 8am
For my gym lovers, they have Technogym state of the art equipment, absolutely amazing. A few improvements for the gym for me are: add a few mirrors, elastic bands and mats
The stay was overall perfect and I would definitely stay here again. They even have a shuttle service from Nice Aeroport and a friendly helpful and smiling staff
Location is fantastic, literally less than 10 min on foot outside of the terminal 1, you just get the tunnel down the main road and you get there
Gorgeous property, fantastic location, wonderful staff, and the best breakfast and breakfast location in Nice! 10/10 would highly recommend! Was only here for 2 days on business, but I am already planning a trip back for leisure!
Had a wonderful visit in Nice at this hotel. Wonderful location on the promenade. Able to walk all over Nice, restaurants, old town. Had a garden room looking over the museum
Absolutely wonderful hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Our room had a breathtaking sea view where we enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets
Loved the breakfast selections and the seating area in front of the hotel
The convenient “included breakfast” had a good selection of options ,such as precooked scrabbled eggs, a machine to boil eggs, another to make small pancakes and self serve automatic coffee machine with lattes, cappuccinos etc
They go above and beyond to make sure the guests are enjoying their stay. The guest room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast was excellent—a nice variety to choose from
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Nice Beau Rivage. The location was fabulous- smack in the middle of town and a stone's throw away from the beach
Would stay again. Perfect location for Nice.
Lovely helpful staff
Great breakfast with plenty of choice
Excellent location
First room very very small, wardrobe was tiny I ended up using back of bathroom door, the shutters and my bedside table!!
Bearing in mind we were staying a week I feel we should have been allocated a larger room, others who were just two nights had far larger rooms!
It would put me off staying again unless the room was...
Close to beach and there are restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk in any direction. Our room was compact but cosy and had everything we needed and very clean. We were room only so can't comment on food
We did move due to noise issues. this is not the fault of the hotel though, due to central location there are early deliveries and refuse collection… after 5 nights we asked to be moved
I had sadly read some negative reviews of the hotel, posted only a few weeks before my arrival date, and therefore was a bit unsure of what to expect. However, the negative reviews couldn't have been more wrong
Nice, Park Phoenix s, 480 Promenade des Anglais, Av. des Grenouillères Entrance via 🧭 Map
🌞 From seashore 6 min
Traveling during the off-season, the rooftop pool was locked and inaccessible. I had hoped to go up there for photos. The room wasn't particularly large
Sheraton, as always, is reliable. Facilities: Very new, even though the parking lot had some water. Nice is indeed perfect for a vacation, even if the Bay of Angels is just so-so
getting there : you dont need the tram from Terminal 1 (its walking distance and its well sign posted)but you do for terminal 2. The main door was out of order so in the dark it’s hard to find the side one
However, most of the nearby restaurants were closed; there was one place selling only pizza, which was actually pretty good. There are no supermarkets nearby either
It's located right across from the airport and very close to where you catch the mini-train, making getting around quite convenient
Reception was easy but there can member of staff after 10/11pm which could delays things. Rooms are fine but I would not say to Sheraton standards and certainly nothing to brag about on the deluxe room option
La Rotonde is a place I love to return to — every experience has been harmonious, delicious and marked by true hospitality. A restaurant with identity, consistent quality and a generous touch of southern French charm
The cuisine unmistakably reflects the signature of Virginie Basselot, Meilleur Ouvrier de France — one of the rarest and most prestigious distinctions in French gastronomy — and a Michelin-starred chef
The quality of the ingredients, the balance of the menus and the craftsmanship on each plate come together beautifully. It is always a pleasure to experience how much care and generosity go into every dish
Although located on the Promenade des Anglais, the layout is well-designed, making it very quiet and private. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. This hotel is undoubtedly a landmark in Nice
The round dining room, with its historical character, playful architectural details and views of the Promenade des Anglais, is truly unique — a space full of elegance, personality and warmth
For more than 110 years, it has united art, history and hospitality in a remarkable way. You can feel this heritage in every room, and this same spirit gives La Rotonde its distinctive soul
Spectacular hotel, excellent location right on the Promenade de Anglais so sea is just on the front. Staff is extremely helpful, the room was clean with good amenities
Although it is a bit old, the sea view is good. The room is very clean and staff are really friendly, nice and helpful! Highly recommended!
Sea view room, very spacious, and the breakfast was excellent.
Breakfast options were good but i missed a coffee machine - only brewed coffee available with milk on the side
Also upon check in you will need to pay 100eur deposit, which I was not aware of at first, but maybe it was just me not checking thoroughly
Upon check out it was refunded within 10-15mins
The scenery is great, but the facilities are pretty standard. The cleanliness is勉强 acceptable. The room door needs to be closed twice to shut completely, and you have to stand in the bathtub to shower
The room was quiet and comfortable for sleeping, and there's an elevator for convenience and safety
Awesome breakfast! Highly recommend. Very nice staff, my room was cleaned daily! 👌 glad I based my vacation here for 6 nights
The hotel's location is great, very close to the train station and only a 10-minute walk to the beach. The hotel design and hygiene are also excellent, with rooms cleaned daily. The staff are friendly and helpful
Nice and clean hotel near the railway station. Big and quiet room with balcony, comfortable beds. Breakfast was quite french - croissants, yogurt, boiled eggs and so on, coffee and juice, simple but tasty
Great location! It's a five-minute walk from the train station and ten minutes to the beach. The breakfast is plentiful, and they offer a simple afternoon tea, hot water, and popcorn
The room was clean. Breakfast was limited to bread and ham, but the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious.
Although the room was small, the layout was very well designed and made good use of the space. The décor was cute and pleasant
From the window, you can see the airport, and it is very close to Terminal 1, which is within walking distance. There is also a tram right outside the hotel that goes directly to the airport, making it very convenient
I stayed alone, but the room had three single beds, which made it comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. There were no hairdryers or toothbrushes in the room, but you can borrow them at the reception
There are several train stations nearby, so transportation is very convenient. It’s also close to the airport, but the noise wasn’t an issue at all
There's an interesting feature where if you go with friends and stay in different rooms, there's a secret door connecting to two rooms
The hotel was perfect for every aviation lover and for early departures. Windows with incredible view of the runway.
This hotel is very new and clean, with an excellent location — it's a very short walk to the beach. The off-season rates are reasonable
Being at the edge of old town and a short walk or tram ride from the train station -- and a few short minutes from the Promenade -- this hotel is a great choice for vacationers on a time budget like us
Cute hotel, great location near to the center, the promenade, near to old Nice, and near all kinds of public transportation. They clean your room daily unless you don't want them to
Our room was right next to the stairs, and the elevator was broken on the first night, so there was constant noise from people going up and down. Overall, it's still quite good
She provided excellent service during my stay and kindly assisted me with a room upgrade, which made my experience even more comfortable and enjoyable
The bathroom even had a full-sized tub! The Juliette balcony had a view facing north and wasn't too loud at night
My Deluxe room was incredibly spacious, big, and super comfy, with a plush bed and sleek marble bathroom. The staff, were warm and attentive, making every moment seamless
Nice top luxury, superior location, advanced service concept, the front desk directly guides you to the room and introduces relevant room information! The lobby design and paintings are tasteful!
Five-star service, ambiance, and facilities, right on the beach and just a street away from the old town. The room was meticulously cleaned; they thoughtfully tidied up all our belongings
Pet-friendly perks and a fair-trade espresso machine added a special touch. This elegant, modern haven is a Riviera gem—I’m already dreaming of my next visit! 🤩
The breakfast was plentiful, and the rooftop restaurant offered panoramic views of the beach. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Nice
My stay at the Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel, nestled in Nice’s Carré d’Or, was pure bliss. Just steps from the Promenade des Anglais, the location is unbeatable
We stayed here as a family of 3 adults. The hotel was in a great location to explore the old town of Nice and all the beautiful attractions. Good sized rooms with a free water dispenser on each floor being very welcome
The hotel's location is excellent. One thing that made a huge difference in our experience at this hotel was the attention and care we received from the staff member, Vivian. Always smiling, she made us feel at home
Good people make a difference in our perception of the hotel and our experience in the city. Vivian is definitely one of those people who made the difference in giving us the best references for our stay in Nice
We stayed only 1 night before heading to Cannes. It’s good stop if u arrive late at night. Hotel is in walking distance from bus station ( Vauban) - 800 m by walk
The breakfast buffet was of a very good range and quality. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful and the costumer service was excellent
Room is clean, sufficient space to place your bug luggage. But the bed should be changed. The room has bathtub, not separated shower
Breakfast was reasonable, we can’t complain. Staff were really nice and attentive. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Nice at Brice Garden, it’s within walking distance to the main train station, and to the main Nice centre
The tall slim male receptionist is amazingly friendly and he recommended and advice us not to deive to Cannes. He is absolutely right we did save a lot of time in traffic and the train ride is scenic and convenient
The restaurant he recommended is super reasonable and delicious. The room is aircon - good for us as we cannot survive without it. Room is small for 2 person and do not have space to open 2 luggages
It was manageable but it was hard for my husband not to fall through the middle. We were happy enough to put up with the set up of the bed. Bed and pillows were very comfortable otherwise
The room was very comfortable, clean; it was a twin bed when we booked for one bed. Reception said they would fix it for us, which they did by bringing the two single beds together
The location is good and the hotel staff is helpful. They even whatapps me before my arrival and I can check with them some of the details before I check in the hotel
Comfortable and very well placed, at the point between the old town and the new town, with stunning sea views.
The hotel has a good location and a great sea view. The hotel is quite old, and as expected, the rooms are small
The rooms are beautifully decorated, and our terrace offered a breathtaking view of the sea
Fantastic location, friendly staff. Try their own brand beer with a hint of rosemary. A sea view room is definitely worth it for the views
However, the problem is that due to its age, the doors and windows are not properly sealed, resulting in poor sound insulation
The only downside was that one of the very thin young men serving breakfast was quite aloof, even lacking in service attitude. Also, we forgot a jacket at the hotel. Considering the expensive postage, we had to let it go
The Hotel Grimaldi passed all those criteria. As I read further, I saw many positive comments. Significantly more positive comments than negative comments. Satisfied with my research, I booked an 8 night stay
We slept with the window open and nothing disturbed us from the street, even though you are just a short walk from the promenade and the city center. There are plenty of great restaurants, bars, and grocery stores nearby
My experience:
The hotel was better than I expected. The location is beyond perfect. And the breakfast was outstanding every day. The wonderful hotel staff far exceeded my expectations
Like you, I spent time reading all the reviews for Le Grimaldi hotel in Nice, France. I was looking for a 4 star hotel with a great location and had a breakfast included option
When I come back to Nice, I know that the only hotel I will consider is Le Grimaldi. I spent some time diving into all the reviews for the Le Grimaldi hotel in Nice, France
The staff was exceedingly helpful with tourist advice and helpful hints. By the time I left, I felt every staff member was a great friend who I will miss after I leave
Good place! Face the sea, but not any room. Normally the room window is open to loan, but quiet.
Rooms are small but it has great location. Recommend getting the room with the sea view, balcony might come with it. Has really good air-coin but showers are small
Very close to the promenade, nice room if you choose privilege room, no lift, few rooms towards the sea side
Amazing location and cozy rooms! Highly recommended. Parking nearby and all other nice restaurants and opera as well.
I was checked in before 2 PM, which was very convenient as a room was available. Everyone was very friendly, and the rooms are two-story and fully equipped
The sea is nearby (just across the road) and there's a pedestrian street with many cafes. I highly recommend it! The price-quality ratio is superb!
Beautiful boutique hotel with protected parking lot in the courtyard, 15 minutes walk from the old town center and 15 minute drive from the airport, and a block from the promenade. All decor was thoughtful and stylish
Quality linens and towels and all bathroom fixtures. Everything kept up in pristine condition. We loved our spacious room with a balcony. Excellent breakfast with great number of choices
The room was very spacious and the bathroom was too. The breakfast buffet was nice and had ample amount of choices. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and as well as the staff at the buffet
Lovely staff, spectacular location a block from Parade des Anglais, the glorious boardwalk along the beach. Near lots of great restaurants. Tea, coffee and fridge in the room
Some rooms have balconies with views of the Mediterranean Sea! Comfortable lights for reading
We found the hotel to be very pleasant, clean and comfortable. Our third-floor room, was large, clean, quiet, and perfect for relaxing and sleeping at the end of long days exploring the city and its environs
