It feels like a private address — and if you choose the right room, you’ll understand why Saint-Tropez became an artists’ village long before it was a playground. 🛏 Where We Stayed: A Terrace Suite With Tropezian Light Do not underestimate the difference between a regular room and a suite with a terrace. In a town where outdoor space is almost sacred, the terrace transforms your stay: Morning light over terracotta rooftops Soft Mediterranean air coming in through sliding windows Space for breakfast outside without leaving your room A completely different feeling of privacy Inside, the suite follows the hotel’s philosophy: modern Riviera, not kitsch Côte d’Azur nostalgia. Neutral tones and natural textures Spacious closets (rare for Saint-Tropez) Excellent sound insulation (worth every euro in peak season) A bathroom that’s bright and practical, with high-pressure showers (important after beach days) 🌤 Rooftop Pool: Better at Dawn and Dusk Everyone hears about the rooftop pool. The truth is: Don’t go between 12:00–16:00 in high summer. It’s crowded and loses charm. Go at 08:00–10:30 or after 18:30 — the colors, music, and silence make it feel like a private yacht. Lounges are limited; reserve ahead if you’re picky. Drinks are priced like Saint-Tropez (no surprise), but the icy rosé and fresh peach cocktail are worth ordering at least once. 🍽 Dining: Breakfast Wins — Dinner Belongs Outside Hotel breakfasts in Saint-Tropez are often disappointing, but here it’s a perfect local display: Fresh figs, nectarines, and peaches depending on season Provençal honeys and pistachio spreads Light pastries without the heavy butter of Parisian hotels A balanced à-la-carte menu for eggs and healthier choices Dinner at the hotel is good but Saint-Tropez is full of exceptional restaurants within five minutes walking distance. Excellent location. Well maintained. Clean. Tremendous service! The service is impeccable and rivals any 5 star hotel. From the concierge (Pierre), the bartender (Noah) and all the front desk staff and pool/restaurant staff (Tristan). Thanks for making our St Tropez trip memorable.

This was our fifth year staying at Hotel de Paris in Saint-Tropez, and once again it was absolutely fabulous. Each time we return, it feels like coming home to a place that understands true luxury while still making you feel completely relaxed and welcome. The hotel itself is stunning — beautifully maintained, with every detail thought of — but what keeps us coming back year after year is the incredible service. The staff goes above and beyond in every way, and at the heart of that is the head concierge, Samuel. He has become so much more than just a concierge to us; over the years, he has truly become a friend. His care, attention, and thoughtfulness are unmatched. Whether it’s helping us plan the perfect day, securing the best tables, or just sharing a warm smile and genuine conversation, Samuel always makes our experience unforgettable. It’s rare to find a place that consistently delivers such an amazing experience, but Hotel de Paris manages to do it every single year. Saint-Tropez wouldn’t be the same for us without this hotel and without Samuel. We are already looking forward to year six!

Fantastic stay, very comfortable room and we slept so well. Then concierge team is amazing and incredibly well connected, also providing free shuttle service to beach clubs. Perfectly located in town to walk to shopping and restaurants. We upgraded our room for a bit more space as the normal room is quite small. If you are taller or larger be sure to check on the bed size (they have some circular beds that adorable but not practical if one of you is 6'3").

The staff is incredible, kind, professional and simply lovely. The design of the room is a little bit quirky and weird… I had a round bed and a round shower and no desk in the room so if you’re planning on sharing the room with someone the shower is completely open and right at the entrance. I think the design of the room needs a rework but other than that it was a great stay, breakfast is lovely and the location is incredible

My sister, my mother, and I came for Sunday brunch at the rooftop of the hotel and loved it. The view and the food were amazing. As far as service everyone was great, but Pierre was amazing. He was very attentive and kind, as well as took our rooftop photos for us. If you ever come for brunch, ask for Pierre!!

My wife and I stayed in the Hotel de Paris for a couple of nights. It was one of the best experiences we both ever had. The hotel was great in all fronts. Amazing service with incredible attention to the details. Room was amazing, breakfast was great, rooftop is beautiful. And if this was not enough, great location. We really want to say thank you to all the personnel for their professionalism and dedication.

Stunning hotel in a prime location, offering breathtaking views of Saint-Tropez. The staff were incredibly accommodating, with a special shout-out to Sophie at the rooftop, whose kindness made our last night unforgettable.
