Very central and budget friendly hotel but my room was not clean and there was no air conditioning only ventilator. There was a heavy smell in the room due to being closed for a long time. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was good.

The elevator was broken. It was hard to carry the luggage upstairs. The breakfast was simple, with bread, meat, eggs, milk, freshly squeezed orange juice, and fruit. It was basically European style, with hot tea and coffee.

This is a conveniently located hotel to explore the historic centre of Rouen. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is your typical hotel fare. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom. The only concern is that there are no lifts which means that you have to be able to cope with climbing stairs. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel in a good central position not far from teh Hotel de Ville and many shops. In front of my window there was the famous Vulcano Building of Le Havre. Breakfast was nice with a good quality coffe. The room was clean and spacious. Pretty doors.

Ok. No frills hotel This hotel did not fit the bill if Ibis Styles. For one no A/C. Usually the ibis budget has no a/c.

I chose to stay here because it wasn’t too costly and was convenient for walking to/from both the Brittany Ferries terminal and the main train station. Walking to vibrant night life and attractions. Hard to find parking and entrance to building. Had to call and they explained how to access private parking. All was well after that.

Property was nice and quiet. Staff was kind and helpful. However, the body wash dispenser in the shower was empty and the water drain would clog, leading to water getting out of the shower and into the rest of the bathroom. Toilet could have been cleaner and fresher. Aside from that, everything else was fine.

The air conditioning did not work properly. I believe it was the smallest room I have ever had, our suitcases had to be placed on the floor and we had to move the chair to allow the to fit on the floor, because they would not fit on the luggage rack. A large comfortable room. However there is no AC and so a bit too warm even in May. Very clean and the breakfast was average. The owner is very nice and keeps up the hotel. My only complaint is parking. We were lucky to get parking on the street in front, but even then it was a bit of a lug to get our luggage in.

The place was not what it seemed in pictures.

The staff were excellent. If you happen to be lucky, you might encounter someone who speaks Chinese. Some also speak English. The rooms were very clean. They will help you contact a taxi company if you need one, and they will also help you find a Chinese-speaking driver if you require one.

Great hotel in a lovely city We booked the largest room 501. Complete with wrapping balcony and a terrace, this room was chic, fun and with good views. Hotel location was fantastic, just a block off the midway point of Rick Steve’s asking tour. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rouen is definitely worth a couple days. See the Beaux Arts museum.

Great balcony corner views from our Room #10. The Christmas market had started the day we arrived and it snowed that night (in late November). Complete with the imposing sight of the Notre Dame Cathedral, it was a near perfect stay in Rouen.

Quite comfortable hotel at the centre of Le-Havre, nearby train station and bus station. Sanitary equipment requires attention - water hardly passing.. Light sensor in bathroom is annoying - if you want to shave, you have to run to the door every 30 seconds to switch on light..

Good location just near train station. Hotel with technologic details. Don't have a safe box in rooms, and the ones at lobby is mentioned that could be open randomly for safety purposes. For me this is an VIOLATION of PRIVACY with an excuse of safety! - not acceptable. Staff friendly. Parking payed outside.

Been traveling for a month and this has been my favorite hotel. The room is small, but efficient. Quiet room, AC works great, good WIFI. Every detail has been thought out. I recommend this hotel and is my choice in LA Harve.

We went in August, without A/C it was tough to sleep.

The property is in an excellent position in central Rouen. It is a budget option with the rooms, particularly the bathrooms, showing their age. However the linens were clean and the bathroom was very clean and shower worked well. The breakfast buffet was very good. Downside was the lack of aircon in a 30c heat. Staff lovely.

The hotel has 4 floors and no elevator. It is in a good spot but next to park with homeless. It was very clean. It was truly a 2.5 star but clean...as a single adult looking for cheap and 1 night it was great. Families should stay away.

The toilet was dirty. We had to ask someone to clean the splatter behind the seat, which was visible when the lid was closed. They cleaned it promptly after we mentioned it, but some splatter remained. The toilet seat also slid around, making it uncomfortable to sit on.

We loved the character of this lovely hotel. It was very homely. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. We had breakfast in the morning, which was delightful. The staff are friendly & helpful.

Very romantic court yard where we had a nice lunch. Then we visited the famous Rouen Cathedral and a very good Art museum nearby. Great dinner at a restaurant Pascaline. After it we saw a free light show at 10 pm in front of the Cathedral. Highly recommended by us.

Room was not fancy, but bed was surprisingly comfortable. If driving there, ask for parking info ahead of time--driving in central Rouen is very complicated! lots of one-way streets, and easy to find yourself suddenly in a tunnel (which wasn't too bad, but could have been avoided).

Negatives - A basic hotel with very basic amenities. The room was so basic and was very outdated we were on the top floor. The room wasn’t 100% clean and could have been better. New door locks please! The door locks need to be replaced!! I spent up to ten minutes sometimes fumbling with the key card, pretty high stress. Staff might of been a little microaggressive, I’m not sure though. Hotel staff are pretty sneaky with their microaggressions.
