Hôtel Dandy in Rouen

Excellent Hotel! Great room and cleaning. Also, amazing location, in the center of the city, close to the touristic places etc

Hotel Dandy was amazing in beautiful Rouen! The location was amazing since it was less than five minutes from the center of the old square. The restaurants were everywhere and the food was excellent. I had a great recommendation from the hotel less than 10 steps away.

The room was absolutely gorgeous and amazing with a large bathroom with a shower door and nice shower. It was very clean, comfy and cozy, I totally recommend visiting this hotel in Rouen. The staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely come to see Rouen’s cathedral that Monet painted beautifully and stay at Hotel Dandy. It is walking distance from the train station. I also recommend the art museum, which was actually free. It had a beautiful impressionist artwork. There is a trolley with a great tour in the old town. Loved it!

Room was immaculately clean and beautifully updated in a classical style, jaw dropping so! Whomever chose the finishes, right down to the sea-creature chrome cup holder, really has an eye. The clawfoot tub was so classy and so relaxing! Great choice. This is probably the nicest place we’ve stayed 3 weeks in France, and so reasonably priced at that. The bedding was luxury, we slept very well in separate beds having got the triple room (for 2!). I cannot recommend it enough, and I’m so picky! The location was great and parking not so bad for being in the middle of a medieval city. I’m only sad I didn’t take photos before we messed up the room!

Stayed one night at the Dandy with friends on the way to the Loire Valley. To be honest I was a little dubious because the hotel was so reasonably priced - but I was pleasantly surprised !. We had lovely rooms at the back of the hotel, rooms were well furnished and well equipped, comfy beds, plus tea and coffee making facilities, also the free WiFi worked well. The guy on reception was very friendly and very helpful. We paid an extra 13 Euros for parking, which was worth it, as the secure parking was right next door to the hotel, and also paid an extra 8 Euros for a dog in one of the bedrooms. Because the hotel is on a pedestrianised road it can be a bit tricky to find, but luckily the hotel sent us directions (Boulevard des Belges then Rue Jean Lecanuet and Rue de Fontenelle). We were told that when you arrive at the bollards you press the "Apel" button and wait for the police to speak and then tell them you are staying at the Dandy. Hotel is in a great location, near to the local sites, loads of restaurants, and a great wine bar right opposite the hotel. There is also a nice cafe on the roundabout with a patisserie nearby where we bought some nice croissants to have with our coffees (they didn't sell croissants in the cafe) I suppose the only downside is that there is no bar or restaurant in the hotel, but as I have said - great wine bar across the road and loads of restaurants in easy walking distance. Definitely recommend Le Dandy for a stopover in Rouen

The best thing about this hotel is the lovely lady on reception who couldn't do enough to welcome us and talk to us about what to do on our quick stop off on route to Calais.Recommend the superior room , pretty decor, lovely view of old timber buildings, just needs new bathroom suite but was clean enough .The welcome from this little hotel made us overlook ,Thank u so much for your hospitality 🙂
