I think the rooms need big time renovations. It’s pretty very old looking condition. From door handles to every basic thing there.

Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel. The location is very close to the train station, making it convenient for transportation. Although it's on a main road, it's not noisy. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't leave a review. The front desk staff were very welcoming.

The room is very clean, with three single beds. Although it only has shower gel (no shampoo, no slippers, no kettle, and hair dryer), it is super close to the train station (Kassel Hbf). The hotel is old but very well maintained. The room including bathroom is spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious with several options. Location is good as well.

It’s in good location close to the train station and about 10 minutes walk to the city centre. But it’s an old hotel, and everything in it is old but the beds are comfortable.

The location is excellent, and there are reception staff available even late at night. Breakfast is €15 and is quite plentiful. The bar next door is a bit noisy at night, so you need to close the windows to sleep. Recommended.

Good room with a nice area away from the bedroom. No lift so if you are on the second floor it is hard work with luggage. Don't pay for breakfast is my advice!

Nice hotel near hiking paths and Herkules monument. Quite small bathroom but enough for 2 people.

We loved the easy walk to visit the Hercules monument and the walk back from the castle. The breakfast was good and there was even a bar on the premises to grab a beverage. Parking was plenty and free.

The staff are all friendly. When asked a kettle they will provide it. The transportation card for the tram and bus is a bonus. Their breakfast had a variety of food too.

When I couldn't book a room, I found this hotel hidden in the old town. The skylight on the roof can see the clouds at dusk and the top of the church. It is quiet and the sound of rain hitting the skylight at night helps me sleep. It is worth recommending

I went to the Wilhelmshöhe Park. This hotel is one tram stop away from Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe Station. Line 1 is right at the door, and the key point is that it is at the foot of the park. No air conditioning, no air conditioning ~

Very nice hotel and staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Nice room. Nearby both the railway station, Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe and Zoo am Rammelsberg. The only drawback is the traffic on the street outside, paved with cobblestone so every car makes a lot of noise. Nothing the hotel can do something about, and sleeping with the window shut may silence some of it.

20 minutes to breakfast closing i couldn’t order eggs; no excuse, no explanation, just: “NO”. 15 minutes to breakfast closing i couldn’t sit in the breakfast area. i come here to rest, not to get told what to do or what i can’t have.

Set beside a river, I woke up to the sound of a cat meowing. People were fishing on a walking trail by the river. I got to watch them while I ate breakfast for 17€. The bathroom made no sense. Awesome / Relaxing for one day We only needed a bed and for very luttle money got a full apartment incl. King size bedroom, huge liveroom w. large balcony. Even incl. Table tennis and fussball tables in the apartment. Huge surprise for the kids when we opened the door :)

It is right at the center of the city just a few mins walk from the station as well as from all major tourist attractions like Friedrichsplatz, Orangerie, Markthalle and Grimmwelt. We needed to take a stopover on a longer drive and this was the perfect hotel with a small kid for a reasonable price. The rooms were exceptionally clean with all the basics and a comfy bed (baby bed was offered but we did not need it). If you ever stop in Kassel this is the place to live at! Superfriendly owner with ok quality apartments. We booked this last minut due to Corona and had really no expectations. We got a good experience. The room we got was a apartment with everything you need. Our kid got his own room. Ok restaurant on top and if you like food from Balkan this is a ok stop.

Hotel room ok, a bit old but clean. Was super hot though and there is no fan or air con. Staff businesslike but not unfriendly. Breakfast was ok. For the price however expected something down.
