Beautiful, clean, great wellness area with sauna and steam rooms, and a lovely terrace with a natural swimming area. The nearby castle is beautiful to explore. Also, really good breakfast.

I wished there was a market of some sort and a place to keep my food in my room so I would not have to eat at a restaurant for each meal, despite the food being good. There is a sauna and spa area, which I liked

The greatest disappointment came with the dessert: what was described as a mango bowl sorbet (coconut and basil) turned out to be nothing more than a diced piece of mango with pre-packaged ice cream bar coated in chocolate on a stick which cost €14 (!)

Under different circumstances, I would have preferred to go elsewhere. Comment after the owner reply: Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, it seems there may be some confusion about your menu

I may have been visiting on a low-visit time, but I could hear conversations of people in the hallways very clearly, so if it were busy I would imagine it could get noisy, so bring ear plugs

This felt misleading and did not meet the expectations set by the menu. Unfortunately, with no other dining options available nearby at the time, I had little choice but to dine here

Very nice hotel next to the train station and right in the middle of the city. Good breakfast!

Good location. It's a shame the bar isn't regularly staffed in the evenings. It's not very cozy getting your beer from a freezer. The staff is very friendly.

Hotel Schweizer Hof

When I couldn't book a room, I found this hotel hidden in the old town. The skylight on the roof can see the clouds at dusk and the top of the church

It is quiet and the sound of rain hitting the skylight at night helps me sleep

The location is very good, very close to the city center and very close to Bergerpark. There are many restaurants and supermarkets around, the environment is very good 👌🏻 Recommended

Very friendly, helpful, and reliable staff. Would gladly return anytime.

The staff are all friendly. When asked a kettle they will provide it. The transportation card for the tram and bus is a bonus. Their breakfast had a variety of food too.

Nearby both the railway station, Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe and Zoo am Rammelsberg. The only drawback is the traffic on the street outside, paved with cobblestone so every car makes a lot of noise

Breakfast buffet was one of the best of our trips so far. The Christmas market was only a 10 minute walk away

What a wonderful find. Hotel is an old monastery from the 1400’s with all of the character you would expect, with modern finishes. Dinner at the hotel was good and convenient.

It is a beautiful hotel with great rooms, nice surroundings and an excellent restaurant- highly recommended!

Rooms very nice and clean. Breakfast was very good very close to things just a little walk.

Cosy place to stay. Neat rooms, enough place and nicely dressed. Kind personel and good atmosphere. Just a few hundred meters to the city centre. Nice park in front of the hotel within 100 meters.

This was a very unique experience. The building was a former monastery from the 1100s. We stayed on one of the upper floors which had low-clearance, original beams. I’m 6’4” and had to duck a lot

I initially thought the double rooms at the Goode Hotel might be a bit small, but I was pleasantly surprised to find they were just the right size

The hotel restaurant was elegantly decorated and served dinner, which was convenient. The hotel reception staff were very welcoming and helpful

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was especially good.

The location is excellent, and there are reception staff available even late at night. Breakfast is €15 and is quite plentiful. The bar next door is a bit noisy at night, so you need to close the windows to sleep

The hotel is about five minutes walk from the main railway station. Good breakfast choice available.

Centrally located and very friendly staff! The equipment is simple and a bit older, but everything you need is there and very clean! The breakfast in buffet form is also recommended, everything is of good quality and it is "replenished" until shortly before the end of breakfast time

They can speak very good English as well 👍 Plus they cater free snacks in the evening😍 There is a pool table in the lounge room with a Television and some books to read. 📍Take Note: Its free to use it

It’s in good location close to the train station and about 10 minutes walk to the city centre. But it’s an old hotel, and everything in it is old but the beds are comfortable.

The hotel is old but very well maintained. The room including bathroom is spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious with several options. Location is good as well.

The rooms are newly furnished and there is nothing missing in the room that you need for a weekend, the firm mattresses make for a very good night's sleep and it is beautifully clean

It didn't feel like we were in a hotel at all. In short, if you are visiting Kassel, you are in really good hands here for a comfortable night's sleep

A well-run and rather comfortable hotel. Good soundproofing. Spacious room. Reinforcing sweetness at breakfast would be a good initiative. The staff is efficient and friendly. There is a lack of real parking.

The breakfast is good and not too excessive (so that you have to worry about half of it ending up in the trash). I would also like to highlight the team, who are very friendly and guest-oriented

There breakfast is very good, altough a bit high on carb. There service is great and the location is awsome. Parkin space could be improved (its a ticht squeese for the less experienced driver).

Excellent service, excellent location

Clean, simple & efficient. Lovely old-fashioned interior design. Good for solo travellers (get the 'deluxe' room). Only missed some international channels on the TV :)

It is very central, that's great. The elevator did not work though. Personal was very friendly. I found everything I needed, also water was provided

Basic accommodations. Staff was outstanding. Location is very convenient to train station and pedestrian zone. Lots of shopping and dining close.

The only thing I did not like was the sound of the traffic when sleeping with an open window. Other than that, everything was very good.

The rooms at the hotel were very clean, and have everything that we needed for our stay. Full size bath, shower, mini fridge WiFi. they also have a bar downstairs, and was nice to have a beer after a journey

The breakfast was great good selection of everything you would expect. Overall we both had a very pleasant stay and will definitely book this hotel again

First time I have visited Germany but definitely will not be my last. traveled with my Son who was meeting his online gaming friends for the first time. The Hotel Chassalla staff were amazing, very helpful

I spoke to one of the staff members who gave me some great advice about where to go, and where I could get some good food while I was here

Good equipped rooms with enough space. Good breakfast. Dog friendly. Free parking if you are lucky get a parking lot. Internet is extremely slow.

Spontaneously drove off the Autobahn at 11:30 p. because we were too tired to continue driving. There were four of us (2 adults/2 children). At the gas station we quickly got the card and paid for it at a good price

It's like sleeping on a cloud. 👌👌👌 Super nice and very helpful. The boss can be proud of such a staff. There is an excellent restaurant right next door. Thank you for the pleasant stay. Will definitely use/visit again

But what's best: the lady in the office / at the reception is one of the most professional and nicest hotel staff I have met for a long time. Hope she sees this and keeps up the great job

Cozy rooms, new furniture, everything is wonderful. A good place to rest and continue on your way. Breakfast is not included in the room rate.

We did not go to the hotel but used the restaurant instead. They have a nice selection of typical German food. The staff is kind and the food tasty. Also no long wait and acceptable prices. Good for a break.
