I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to have an easy access to the train station or tram lines. Very nice and helpful staff, did not try the food but there is a small kiosk and cafe next door

- Very nice welcome from the staff - Clean, large room, complimentary water and nespresso machine. - Free two day travel card from the hotel to get you into the centre of Kassel(approx 3km by tram)

Negatives: - Rooms facing towards the train station/tram lines will be noisy from the traffic so ask for a room at the back if that is a problem(the hotel kindly provide ear plugs if needed)

Positives: - Very close location to the Kassel Wilhelmshöhe train station that is perfect for exploring the Wilhelmshöhe Park

Friendly staff, smart rooms, lovely outdoor terrace for eating and drinking. Only point to note is gym and pool are a tad too small to give five stars.

Beautiful, clean, great wellness area with sauna and steam rooms, and a lovely terrace with a natural swimming area. The nearby castle is beautiful to explore. Also, really good breakfast.

It’s a little (uphill) walk from the tram or you can take a taxi from town. It’s nice to be set in the park. Has both an indoor and outdoor pool. Dinner is lacking for the price

On Wednesday and Saturdays in the summer, you can hike up to see waterfalls activated (they are only on for about 10 min, so get there on time!) I would come here again, and recommend it…

There is a beer garden on weekends that is nice

Great!!! Hotel, food, spa! I have rarely been to such a beautiful hotel. The quality is evident from the service to the food and high quality drinks. And all this is again crowned with a breathtaking environment

Best part: they still let you pay in cash (unlike those annoying cashless hotels). Relaxed vibe in the lounge and a good base for exploring Kassel!

The design is a bit colorful for my taste. The shower installation needs refurbishment ( leaky tube, rust in the bath tub). Too many Emails!!!!

I am in Kassel once a year for 3 nights! This was my first visit to Penta hotels and wont be my last! Funky rooms with lots of colour and an enormous comfortable bed! The staff are cool and very helpful! The food was excellent! It was the first time i looked forward to returning to my hotel at night! Big hotel with very big rooms. Breakfast is good. Style is classic, not modern. Wlan was not very stable during our stay. Staff is very kind and helpful. Parking is available for 8€/day.

The good: the pool and sauna, the inside looks fine. The receptionists is friendly. The bad: the food is very plain/boring, the surrounding area is dead and close to noise road.

Wifi.. was poor.. very poor.. wanted to keep up with the weather situation in Denmark.. but since the wifi was so bad, I couldn't use chromecast.

The photos and features urgently need to be updated. According to the staff, the pool and sauna have not been active since Corona. The bar in the hotel was also closed two hours before closing time

Booked the hotel for a layover night on a longer car trip and only picked the hotel for its cheap price and because was it on my route. Against my expectations the room was very large, clean and it had a very good bed

The sauna is turned on in the afternoon, so if you're checking in late and only stay for one night, you don't have the opportunity of using the facilities. The restaurant was great and we had a really nice waiter

The front desk is very friendly and the check-in is smooth. If you don't book breakfast in the morning, there will be free coffee and tea in the lobby from 7:15-9:00 AM. I drank two cups and it was not bad

It was close to Kassel hbf station, so it was convenient to use it as a base to get to various places in the surrounding area by train as well as within the city. The hotel and rooms were clean.

Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel. The location is very close to the train station, making it convenient for transportation. Although it's on a main road, it's not noisy

The room is very clean, with three single beds. Although it only has shower gel (no shampoo, no slippers, no kettle, and hair dryer), it is super close to the train station (Kassel Hbf)

More than meets the eye The hotel occupies a rather bland and unassuming building (like much of Kassel in general), the reception area leaves a somewhat worn-in impression

The room was quite another story, though: very clean and quiet, with everything you need, including a comfortable bed. The older lady in the reception was very helpful

The breakfast is always delicious and the personnel in general and especially in the restaurant are very pleasant and attentive

The only thing I did not like was the sound of the traffic when sleeping with an open window. Other than that, everything was very good.

Nice and well maintained. Single room was good. Double room was very small if you have much luggage.

Stayed here for 1 day on our way to Hamburg. What a nice location directly on the Fulda River, Room had a great view with Balcony to sit and take it in. Bedroom and small living room was separated with a sofa, table

The Location next to the River is stunning and I enjoyed walking around, watching birds, the apartment had two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a really nice balcony

I did not use the SPA but it looked really nice on pictures and from the outside. I also really liked the swings on the balcony. The bathtubs is also really comfy

Fantastic location This hotel has a fantastic location and very family freindly. Enjoyed our one night stay. Great apartment and food with an amazing view over the lake.

Everything was clean Bathroom was ok and we had nice and hot water. We didn't check every nook and cranny but overall good value for the price

The only things they could improve would be a hair dryer (which I might have missed), hangars for the wardrobe and maybe a different soap

Hello im the musician who stayed at weekend. This morning I had to get a bus to Hamburg at 5:40am. I tried to go into reception and pay for room but it was locked and nobody there

Good equipped rooms with enough space. Good breakfast. Dog friendly. Free parking if you are lucky get a parking lot. Internet is extremely slow.

Very comfortable, confident workers and well-served with public transportation.

Centrally located accommodation, free parking? Yes, it's possible! (My experience) Have you ever been there? You're just looking for a clean bed for the night in a central location, but the prices are often outrageous

Anyone expecting complimentary bottled water on the nightstand, provided toothbrushes, or other little amenities typically found in higher-priced hotels will be disappointed. But honestly? I don't need any of that

This not only saves a lot of hassle but also money compared to paying for hotel parking ;-) Of course, you have to be aware that you're not booking 5-star service here. There are absolutely no frills in the room

First things first: The room was, in my opinion, absolutely clean. Anyone expecting luxury will be disappointed, of course, but for the price, you get exactly what you need – a decent bed and a clean bathroom

That's exactly how it was for me on my trip to Kassel. I ultimately chose this hotel because it was simply the cheapest option in the city center. And to cut to the chase: I was pleasantly surprised

Nice hotel, simple but complete. Location for Documenta was excellent, room was airy and very clean. There was a little issue when we arrived but was taken care of quick and thorough. Thank you!
