Breuer's Rüdesheimer Schloss in Rudesheim am Rhein

We spent 2 nights at this wonderful hotel, from the first phone call to ask about the hotel, they were so friendly on the phone we knew this was the place we wanted to stay. The hotel is charming, quiet, gorgeous, and such a relaxed atmosphere and very nice and polite staff. The hotel is small enough, it’s not over crowded and it feels more personable. I will definitely be returning! Breakfast was also excellent and they had Omelettes, or eggs however you wanted them cooked.

We ate at the restaurant and had a delicious meal, with excellent, friendly service. The prices were reasonable, the ambience and decor welcoming. The live music was appreciated.

This review is about the restaurant. Wonderful service, good food, great service. Prices are reasonable, they have great selection of wines from the region. On Saturday there was live music going and created great and pleasant atmosphere. Recommended!!

I loved every second of my stay here. I travelled here alone and it was my first time navigating by myself in a foreign country. I arrived early because I was worried I’d take a wrong train or something. The train schedule was easy to figure out and the station was less than a ten minute walk away from this hotel. I arrived too early to check in but these lovely people let me leave my luggage in the lobby so that I could go explore without dragging my suitcase with me.

I returned still too early for check in but wanting to ask about lunch options, however when I arrived they let me know my room was ready for early check in, and that honestly made my day perfect. Because I was able to check in early, I had enough time to take a nap (international jet lag is no joke), and then I still had time afterward to go explore the town. I returned and had dinner at the hotel and it was DELICIOUS. The best food I had even throughout the remainder of my trip.

The complementary breakfast the next morning was also a shock. It was so so good. All the different buffet options and an egg station where someone would prepare your eggs how you requested!

I was also concerned about the language barrier, I don’t speak any German whatsoever and was worried I wouldn’t understand everything right. They had plenty of English speaking employees though and they were all so extremely kind and understanding.

If I’m ever headed back to Germany I’ll be making another stop to stay here again!

Had such a wonderful 3night stay to end our 4week holiday. The hotel is such a joy to stay at, generous size rooms and we had a newly refurbished bathroom which was so clean and had excellent water pressure. Enjoyed the complimentary bubbles on arrival on the cute balcony outside our room. Excellent breakfast and dinner was so good we ate there twice. If you are there during asparagus season be sure to order the white asparagus meals-omg so good. Very generous servings! We splurged and had the $80 euro 10 year old Roseneck riesling was so good we had both nights!! Free parking if you book direct too. Easy walk to everything! The family are all lovely and the 12 bell tower rings hourly 10-10. Music every night in the restaurant to give you a great German experience. Such a lovely town to wander around. We did the half day pass which you book at visitor centre, 2 cable cars. A lovely walk, views and short river cruise. Great half day option!! Fabulous

Excellent location! Just right on the main tourist street. Dinner time with night band. Food is delicious and with good atmosphere. Highly recommend and will look forward to stay again in the future.

Very nice, well-kept courtyard. The service was very friendly, very attentive and unobtrusive! So qualified staff!!!! The food was served very well, decorative and appetizing. The wine is also of good quality. And everything is worth the price! Highly recommended! If Drosselgasse, then here!!

I had the pork chop with potato salad, it was so good! My husband had the rump steak, which he loved. The star of the show for me was their wine selection! I had two different Rieslings and they were both great! The Rüdesheimer coffee was a must. The dessert was delicious. Most of all, the service was friendly and fast.

I will take a moment to give my compliments to the restaurant staff of this amazing property! We were not hotel guests but we did enjoy dinner at the hotel’s restaurant! I would personally like to thank them for one of the most spectacular dining experiences we ever had!
First of all the restaurant is absolutely BEAUTIFUL with a modern touch and traditional at the same time. It gives you the idea of a historic building that has been cleverly renovated.
The food is excellent and quite delicious, meticulously presented but not pretentious and the wine list is intact!
The musicians gave an amazing performance with some non-expected surprises that made us laugh hard and have a great time.
Lastly the service team was warm and friendly and our waiter “George” (I hope I remember the name correctly) made us feel really special exceeding our expectations for great service that evening!
For all these reasons and many more I would definitely recommend it to everyone I know and those I don’t and we will definitely go back in the future!
