This is a very charming town. I visited in late September, and even though it was considered the off-season, it was still quite lively. This hotel does not offer luxury or experiences. The reception is in the Traube premises but for example our room was in the next building. There is an elevator but still in the lobby and some rooms you have to climb stairs. Traditional metal keys, small rooms, no air conditioning. Really charming. Despite being built in 1540 (!) it’s got the modern things you want - strong wifi, lots of hot water and great water pressure. Service was great. Needed at fat at night and they delivered to room fast. Breakfast was extensive. Close to a train but quiet - no noisy crossing or train horn blasts. I’d stay again. Very reasonable price for the quality.

Very friendly staff. Was able to park in lot by hotel. Great German atmosphere with the restaurant /garden. Located next to all shops and restaurants, but just at edge of old town. We stayed several times at Trapp. Rooms are very good and clean. People are friendly and always helpful. Breakfast is rich. Situation of the hotel is perfect in the centre. Only a pity that the restaurant is permanently closed, but there are some good restaurants in the direct neighborhood. Very recommended.

Rooms and amenities are basic. Clean, rustic fashioned building. The lady owner gave us the instructions on the phone of how to check in and get the keys. Located 1 km to the next ferry to Rüdesheim. Parking is available near the hotel. A little bit lack of explanations of how to get to the rooms. Breakfast was standard and fresh. Coffee and sunny side up was excellent.

Located on the banks of the Rhine, next to the World Heritage Site of the Upper and Middle Rhine Valley, it is very convenient to take a walk along the Rhine. The overall service is good and the service is very enthusiastic. Small town hotel, the front desk can help call a taxi.

Great stay. Three nights in September in room #12. Balcony at front with view of Rhine River. Room was very comfortable. Adjustable beds, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee maker, ample storage, renovated bathroom. Very good quality breakfast with eggs, meats, cheeses, and fresh breads/pastries/jams. Enjoyed a reasonably priced 3-course dinner with good local wines. Marco was a great host.

Wonderful place. We stayed in comfort double room, with a beautiful river view. Clean, cosy, very light (2 windows), all small things available. Comfortable bike parking in the garage. Welcoming staff, also speaking English. Only downside (as in all hotels along the river) - if you open the window you can hear also the road.
