Great Base for the town, the cruise terminal and train station, great choice for breakfast, restaurant on site and many other restaurants and street food options.

Our stay at the ALTE STROM HOTEL was one of the best during our short tour through Germany. The room had a great view and the staff was friendly and very helpful. We will be back and looking forward to it.

Yes, it's quite a good choice for a trip to the coast line. Once you checked in, everything in Warnemünde is in walking distance, and Rostock can be reach by public traffic - the train is just 200meters away from the hotel.

This was my first visit to the town of Warnemünde and to the “Hotel Am Alten Strom”. Upon my arrival, I was immediately impressed with the extremely helpful and courteous Reception staff member (Nicole). Parking is no problem in the underground Car Park. The rooms are very well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The Hotel is in a great location and only a short walk to the beautiful Warnemünde Ostseestrand, and many of the fine restaurants that the town has to offer. The Hotel Lobby Bar “Zur Galeone” has great weekday offers and very friendly, helpful staff (Maria & Laura). This Hotel has a very friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like more than just a guest, you are made to feel at home. English was spoken by all Staff and there was no problem with communication. I would highly recommend this Hotel to all International travellers.

The ratio quality/price is pretty good.
The hotel is well situated side the harbor, quite close to the rail station, the down town and at a walking distance of the beach.
The breakfast variety is reduced but given the price it is fine.

Nice hotel with fine rooms. Breakfast buffet is good.
The hotel is very near restaurants and shops and a short walk to the beach.
The only disadvantage is the parking garage which is very crowded and difficult to manoeuvre the car. Would recommend to park outside on a public parking lot in the vicinity.
