Cottages with sauna in Binz

The hotel itself is surprisingly large with a lot of amenities on offer that we didn't have time to check, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars as well as fun activities within the hotels perimeters

It's not as charming as the old Victorian-style guesthouses in Binz, but it's right on the beach, and rooms are surprisingly spacious and everything is squeeky clean. We even had a small balcony, looking on to the forest

But don't expect personal service - this is a HUGE place. And it's on the outskirts of Binz, about 15 minutes walk from the centre/pier. No breakfast provided - but plenty of other places, along the beach promenade

Great hotel in very good location The hotel has a great location. You can get by foot to the town centre in about 15 minutes and the beaches around the hotel are way less crowded than in other parts

Dogs are allowed for an extra €10. Mini tea kitchen and plenty of space for clothes. Nice touches for a beach resort, such as a hoover (for all that sand) and a clothes dryer (for wet swimwear)

For what it is, it's wonderful. 3-star hotels come with limitations- found some other reviews quite harsh, considering the price point of this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean

Decent pool, decent sauna, paid but easy parking, helpful staff. Very average room, Good dining space but the food gets emptied real quick as there are too many Guests compared the food that gets refilled

We booked the room with breakfast and dinner included, and all the meals we had were good. We stayed in the sauna and pool. We loved the discretion and cleanliness, the saunas are the highlight of this hotel

The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but they're clean and reasonably priced. The sauna facilities are extensive, but unfortunately, they're only open until 8 p.m.

I had a good time spending my holidays there for a week. The breakfast could use an improvement though. Sauna room was great. The bed was comfortable.

We had a great time staying at Rugard. We had a beautiful sea view from a room. It was nice to get a welcoming message on the bag with spa towels and bathrobes, and a small bootle of wine in the end of our stay

Each went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. They both speak excellent English which helped since my German is limited. The breakfast buffet is excellent and I also enjoyed the pool and hot tub

The staff, especially Alex, were great and very polite. The check-in was decent, check-out was very friendly. We did receive an upgrade to a larger room, which was wonderful. Thank you very much! We will be back

A great room, helpfull staff and a great location. As close to the beach as you can get and i have always been lucky with the weather. Lots of local restraurants for variety.

The breakfast buffet seemed a bit scattered and all over the place, on the first day, most of the food was empty when we arrived around 9 AM. It was crowded and loud, but that’s to be expected

Great, modern hotel, with straight access to the public beach. Good value for money considering that Binz is arguably an upmarket sea resort.

Great room and location but the cleaning is not real, they don’t really clean the rooms or change the sheets and no vacuuming so the rooms will get sandy even if you ask for cleaning they don’t do it properly and no vacuuming! Small pool but okay also The sauna and pool is kind of dated!

Great hotel fist line to the beach in Binz. Large lovely rooms with balcony, good service and a very good breakfast. Nice spa area and a nice restaurant. Great for families.

Amazing 5star luxury hotel on beach front hotel, with an amazing ADD (with very good food, quality and big breakfast choice and offering weekly BBQ), super health and wellness, indoor pool and big Spa (including big beauty saloon and various applications)

The food at the very romantic restaurant is very good with helpful staff and smiling. You should definitely book a spa treatment and Sandra with her magical hands could relax my head pain and neck stiffness

The guest rooms are very nice, comfortable, spacious and best views balcony and huge terraces. Nice outdoor culinary venues and along many Private Palace Hotels food & beverage outlets along the promenade

We love the hotel staff, who at one time were the only hotel who took us in in the middle of the night after another hotel on the island turned us away. The staff was also super accommodating for our dog

The whole experience was great from the friendly receptionist, the cosy ambiance of the lobby with the candles all over. I got a spacious room with a big balcony overlooking the sea like a mini suite

We really appreciated the variety of pools and saunas offered, especially at such a relatively reasonable price. Having a kitchenette was also a big plus for us

(It would have been perfect if a cutting board and a cooking knife had been available, too!) For travelers without a car, the ride to Binz train station was extremely helpful and much appreciated

we spent 3 nights in the hotel. the spa area is the best part of it - warm water, a few saunas. i didn’t like the plastic plants and the overroasted beacon

This hotel is close to perfect. Great facilities and service above normal. The location could not have been better. The room we got was bigger than ecpected with full equipment

The spa in the basement was not to big, but enough. The restaurant serves very good food and the breakfast had everything. The women in the the breakfast-restaurant are the best. and so are the front desk staff

Only minor feedback, as it was summer it was rather warm at the breakfast area and I would probably like to have the cold cut selection placed in a cold base instead of just leaving at the counter

Negatives include the mediocre friendliness of the reception staff, who provided insufficient information about the wellness area, sauna towels that you have to get at the reception (why?), and too little information about the structure of the associated hotels

My 4th trip to Binz, decided to stay here this time. Towels were changed daily unless requested otherwise. Bedsheet will not be changed as standard of Europe

This area they work on minimal staff but they do not compromise or affect standards. Buffet breakfast was good too

A quite nice hotel, is a bit worn out by now and the spa area as well. So in terms of price compared to many other hotels is a bit too high, I think. But a nice town with nice restaurants, a nice beach and promenade.

I went in the winter time so not many travelers and it felt like i was in a book. The breakfast could be much better but otherwise cant complain about much else. The bed is super comfortable as well

We booked this hotel for our 10 anniversary and were very happy with our experience. The staff is very attentive and helpful, the hotel went an extra mile to arrange for special amenities in our room

The rooms are modern and extremely comfortable, the bathrooms are roomy and beautiful. The spa (Turkish bath and two different kinds of sauna) is a dream. Fantastic breakfast and adorable staff

Very nice hotel and very good location. Excellent service, fantastic breakfast even shortly after the power outage in Binz. The fish restaurant is great and there is nothing to complain about here either

Clean with a small but nice SPA

We were three families who lived at the same time and then had slightly different categories in the rooms, which turned out to be completely identical and with the same limited sea view

There were staff in between who spoke English but not at the time. In the same way, it was when we checked out and wanted to ask why there was such a different price for our rooms

the place and the standard there was nothing wrong with it but the person we checked in for didn't speak English which was a big shortcoming when you wanted to ask about things

Nice atmosphere is very idyllic. Spent 9 days there, was excellent. Breakfast buffet was perfect, varied every day and there was something for everyone

TV was unfortunately not so great because the speaker was probably broken you had to make an effort to understand something. But it wasn't bad, since we didn't go on vacation to watch TV

The only downer is the limited number of parking spaces, which is to be expected in this location. We then had to use a public parking lot, but it runs directly through the hotel

Some hotel parking lots are a bit tight. You have to shunt something, then it'll fit. We enjoyed our stay very much, therefore 5 stars

Everything was to satisfaction. Took a bit long to check out, due to only one personal at the reception desk and problems with a card transaction for the customer in front of us.Otherwise all good.

The one improvement area I have is that the hotel does not have great information in English, for most parts this was covered by the staff who spoke great English BUT some confusions happened in the spa, where we guessed what the sign said

We really enjoyed staying here. The staff are super friendly and efficient. We had a room with a balcony facing away from the sea, but in the end it was in the sun all day and was quiet at night

What makes this place exceptional is it's 100% dedication to service, although the one male member we encountered still has to take some lessons in this regard, but I am sure that with - female - guidance - he will eventually get there too!

We loved this quirky and affordable hotel. It's perfectly situated, just one row from the beach, close to the pier, and easy walking distance from shops and restaurants. Binz is quiet in December, but still charming

Loved the in-room tea and coffee facility! Beds were unbelievable comfy - and I suspect we got a room upgrade, as our standard room was huge, with a small sitting area, full of windows

A very beautiful hotel furnished in a medieval style, located a bit outside the city center, but you can reach the pier in 15 minutes at a leisurely pace or 10 minutes more quickly

The bathroom is spacious; only the shower curtain takes some getting used to, but I imagine there weren't even showers in the Middle Ages, so we chuckled about it

The Suite hotel is so great and I can Renommee to. Theresa is a big playhall eher the Kids up froh 2 years can play so mich stuff. The stuff is gern Nixe and help full the Rooms are little bit small but nice

Very nice hotel. Distance to the beach: 2 minutes. The employees are very relaxed, which makes it very easy to switch off and relax. Everything is well maintained and clean. We would like to come again!

Very nice suites, with a balcony and large windows. The suites can also be booked by couples. There were a lot of couples there. Great breakfast buffet until 11 a. Very helpful and friendly staff

We came for my husband’s birthday and as soon as they came to know they nicely decorwtaed the corner with a bottle of wine and wishes. We were offered with free update of suite

The only drawback is parking prices - unfortunately you have to rely on them - otherwise you are only allowed to park for 2 hours on the public road - of course for a fee!
