An incredible cozy medieval theme hotel, with tasty breakfast, great atmosphere, and a really old coal locomotive passing right next to it. We were just passing through on our travel south with a late check-in. The process of doing that was a hassle online beforehand, since the hotel is small and no serviced reception after 20.00. We recommend to check in during the open reception for sure 🇩🇪
Except that, we will definetely come back there when we get old 🧓 ❤️

A very beautiful hotel furnished in a medieval style, located a bit outside the city center, but you can reach the pier in 15 minutes at a leisurely pace or 10 minutes more quickly.
Breakfast offers something for everyone, and decaf coffee was brought out every morning – thank you for that thoughtful touch.
The rooms are charmingly furnished, with plenty of space and storage. The bathroom is spacious; only the shower curtain takes some getting used to, but I imagine there weren't even showers in the Middle Ages, so we chuckled about it.
Thank you for the stay; it was exactly what we were looking for and booked.

Large room with a four-poster bed, very comfortable, but with a few minor flaws: the toilet flush was broken, and the small mirror in the bathroom was broken. A bottle of water on arrival cost €4; this could have been offered free of charge. There was no kettle in the room.
Breakfast was okay and sufficient.
The staff were helpful and provided lots of information about Binz.
The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the pier.

A wonderful atmosphere in this hotel. Very friendly staff, including the Wächter family. We also loved the sauna (only bookable for two people). The massage was also excellent.
Breakfast was excellent, with something for every taste.
We also loved the spontaneous idea of holding a dance in the chapel (this small chapel is well worth seeing) with a fire bowl on October 3rd.
We enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast is an excellent buffet of fresh foods. The reception is helpful & friendly. The ambience & decor is historical & ambient. A great place to stay.

Big regret- super dark, rooms ar on a ground floor and there is so much furniture in the room its claustrophobic. If you want the experience of sleeping in a dungeon then it might be right for you. Not what i expected at all. The photos look like light is flooding in and this is just not true. if you come here for a summer holiday consider chosing something else!

Very nice hotel, rooms are clean and big. The only negative point, the romantic room didn't have much in common with the photo on the homepage. No curtains, four-poster bed and no pictures on the wall.
The staff is very friendly and hard-working. Breakfast buffet was very tasty and plentiful. Due to the great layout at breakfast, it was never too crowded. We had a very nice vacation here.

We stayed here at the Wächter Hotel for 5 days.
We were greeted very warmly.
The room was clean and plenty of storage space. The knight theme was also implemented well.
The hotel is a good 15 minute walk to the beach.
Breakfast is sufficient BUT the glass dishes could be used again 🙈
The Rasende Roland drives by here several times a day.
All in all, a good hotel.

I spent 14 days at the Hotel Landhaus Waechter and found the time to be very pleasant. Very tasty breakfast, especially the fresh bread, a clean room, friendly staff and very quiet. I found it particularly good that you can request room service individually. Highly recommended.
