Receptionists should know about the best local hiking trail from Sassnitz to Königstuhl, but instead they said “You cannot hike there”. We did in fact hike 8km that day. Not very helpful staff in this regard.

Great hotel fist line to the beach in Binz. Large lovely rooms with balcony, good service and a very good breakfast. Nice spa area and a nice restaurant. Great for families.

The whole experience was great from the friendly receptionist, the cosy ambiance of the lobby with the candles all over. I got a spacious room with a big balcony overlooking the sea like a mini suite. The food at the very romantic restaurant is very good with helpful staff and smiling. You should definitely book a spa treatment and Sandra with her magical hands could relax my head pain and neck stiffness. Don’t miss out the yoga classes with their beautiful spirit yogi. I had a blast 🙏

Amazing 5star luxury hotel on beach front hotel, with an amazing ADD (with very good food, quality and big breakfast choice and offering weekly BBQ), super health and wellness, indoor pool and big Spa (including big beauty saloon and various applications).
One of the best and first Indonesian Spa with full design and capacities.
The hotel is super pet friendly, has a nice bar with cigar lounge and a library.
The guest rooms are very nice, comfortable, spacious and best views balcony and huge terraces.
Nice outdoor culinary venues and along many Private Palace Hotels food & beverage outlets along the promenade.
One of the best and first Indonesian Spa with full design and capacities.
The hotel is super pet friendly, has a nice bar with cigar lounge and a library.

I travel a lot and spend around 150 days in hotels around the world. I expected more from a 5-star hotel. Positive: the location right on the beach, perfect breakfast, first-class staff. I didn't like the room facilities: the furnishings were OK, the electrical fittings were outdated (the same as they were 20 years ago), the bathroom was OK but nothing special for a 5-star hotel, the bed... well... you can feel the feathers. The pillows and blankets take some getting used to, the elevator is broken... all in all I would say: 3 stars + but nothing more. It wasn't a mistake to book this hotel (when the weather was nice 😉)

Family trip to Binz
Great location in Binz with short walks to everything you need, esp. the beach right outside of the hotel. The breakfast and bbq buffet was outstanding.
The rooms are a bit dated by now. Very small toiletries, esp. for stays for more than 1 day.

the Hotel is located in a great spot. The location is quiet and easy to access.
Unfortunately, the Hotel does not comply with international rating/Star system. It shows 5 Stars, but the 5 Stars relate to the German DEHOGA system and not to the International Star rating system.
Rooms have no air condition; bathrooms are poorly equipped with only very basic and cheap toiletry products. The shower system was of low quality including the shower curtain. The matrass in our room were old and spent and produced back pain. The door handles, flooring, etc. showed wear and tear.
Many of the working staff are foreigners with very limited German language skills (Asian and East European).
The restaurant menu is very limited and not up to the proclaimed Hotel evaluation stars.
This Hotel needs urgently a full restauration and improvement what the general standard is concerned.

We will be coming to this hotel many times more. We love the breakfast, it is not only great food but also in a very nice dining area. We love the hotel staff, who at one time were the only hotel who took us in in the middle of the night after another hotel on the island turned us away. The staff was also super accommodating for our dog. The rooms are big and the location is quiet and safe, at the very end of the beach with tall green hills behind it. We have a feeling that it is great for all times of the year. It is also a perfect place to host a wedding, as the Standesamt is the white architectural masterpiece just outside of it
