Antik-Hotel Eichenhof in Bad Salzuflen

Booked two rooms, arrived late and used the late check in box. Unfortunately only one room available.

I only give one star because less is impossible.
Our story with the Antik Hotel Eichenhof is a long one. But a catastrophic one! The owner of the total of 3 hotels in Bad Salzuflen is an extremely unpleasant and unreasonable person who reacts very unpleasantly and unprofessionally to negative criticism.

To the key data: The Antik Hotel has come down, old (not made old) and very uncomfortable. The entrance area is still open and the bar is very nice (one star for that) but the rest is gray.
We were greeted by a drunk, complaining receptionist (during Corona) without a protective mask, sitting in front of the entrance smoking, smoking. There we registered between the door and the hinge. Because of our dogs (which of course were registered) we had to justify ourselves first. This resulted in a discussion, which then ended with the lady saying "well, that's actually not a problem". I wonder why it is discussed at all.
So the lady continued to talk to us without a protective mask without keeping a distance! Our arrangement included a pizza in the evening - the choice for the topping was limited here ATTENTION: to ham and sausage. As a vegetarian, I looked very bad. At my request maybe just onion and cheese I was told - they didn't have onions.
The other hotel - 2 streets down - has a restaurant. They would certainly have had an onion.
There were 3/4 other points that I don't want to list here.
Since we felt very uncomfortable and didn't want to stay there, we tried to find accommodation in the associated Altstadt Palais Hotel, where we shared our experience with the Antik Hotel, but were largely ignored at first.
I then wrote an email in the evening, whereupon the (very nice and competent) receptionist approached us, apologized and informed us that he had checked and that the employee was sent home and assured us that we would be at the latest on would get an answer to the email next day. However, this only happened 3 weeks and a few emails from us later.
When we left the Antik Hotel, the cleaning lady apologized.
Back at home, I wrote a few emails to the owner asking for a statement and only got one answer from an employee who assured me that Ms. Steffens would contact us in a week at the latest. That didn't happen either.
Only after the 4th email did she have pity to write us a few lines and accuse us of blackmail. Because we wrote: we ask for your opinion and possibly accommodating the price (because we couldn't for the situation and had to pay more than double)
In the email she lied and told us that the employee who had received us drunk had a disability and we should pull ourselves together.
However, I can identify the smell of alcohol very precisely, and even a disability would not be an excuse for not wearing a mask and the number with the pizza. However, I wonder why she was sent home that evening. So it all doesn't fit together.
All in all, these hotels are not recommended.
The Altstadt Palais Hotel is really nice, the restaurant is very, very good, the staff are nice, but the owner is underground and catastrophic. We wanted nothing but a concession and a friendly answer, as a service provider that should be possible.
