2 star hotels in Braunschweig

One should take an example from the host. With little effort and a big heart, he offers some frozen goods for consumption, but refines them with fresh ingredients. Price/performance top. If you're lucky, the landlord will even grill you freshly if you like. Great conversations and an entertaining evening are the result. A cold draft beer or a glass of wine make the evening after work a pleasure. Quiet...

I was waiting for a friend but reception is friendly and it's quite nice

I stay at B&B HOTEL Braunschweig-West very often for work, about two or three times per month. The staff and the owner are always very friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent, very close to the autobahn, which is perfect for business trips. There is also free parking on site with many parking spaces. The breakfast is very good and the coffee tastes great. Today I noticed that the rooms...

This hotel is in an ideal location, close to the highway, with ample free parking. Ideal for a short stay, perhaps an overnight stay while traveling. Formerly an Ibis hotel, it now operates as a B&B. The room is small and clean. Breakfast is good, and the staff are friendly and competent – making coffee or tea for the journey is easy.

Located 2 km away from.the City Centre in an industrial area, next to a highway. Bit noisy if You're on the wrong side of the building if you like the window to be open. Very clean, public transportation nearby and good value for money.

Room not in good condition. Carpet badly stained. No out of hours amenities in the hotel. No vending machine. Picture of hotel on site is not correct. That is not the actual hotel.

Clean Hotel with affordable rates. Location in an imdustrial/commercial area but some grocery stores are around the corner. All in all great value for money!

My B&B impression Nice reception, clean and beautiful rooms. It is a perfect place to relax.

I stayed at the Plaza Inn over Christmas while visiting family. I had a single room. It was perfectly fine—sufficiently sized, clean, and quiet. The entire building is a bit dated, but you don't notice that in the room. I can't comment on breakfast, as I didn't book it. I will probably book the hotel again next year. I found the price/performance ratio to be very good.

I do like the option of me choosing when to have the room clean by putting out the door tag. The breakfast is always good and the restaurant food for supper is very good with generous portions.

Solid hotel choice, close proximity to the Heidberg Park with lots of trails and views. The breakfast and restaurant are good too If one doesn't want to go to more busy areas

Price value relation ok, basic business hotel, breakfast was good.

Booked for a business trip, the surrounding scenery is...

Business Hotel, personnel at very high level, friendly and ready to assist (they have all my gratitude). Internal restaurant is very good. Breakfast almost fine. Moreover, the fact that there is no laundry service is not acceptable. Rooms cleaning to be improved.

The staff was not friendly and they talking and laughing to each other not focusing on me i am standing there just to take keys

The Hotel is located across the street from the central station, and a short three stop train ride to the town centre. Upon arrival there was only one member of staff checking people in so this took about 15 minutes. My single room was spacious enough, shower was okay, a little on the small side, but I had everything I needed and it was ok for the price I paid.

Nice hotel for business people. Not really in the center but close to main railstation

Central location, good breakfast, nearby parking facilities, great ambience

The Hotel is located right next to Braunschweig Hauptbahnhof and public transportation is right in front of the Lobby door. Plenty of restaurants and grocery shops are nearby. Walk to Braunschweig City Centre within 15 minutes and enjoy the park nearby. Great location and good value for money

The room is OK. The location is right next to the Brunswick train station, which is very convenient. There is an Italian restaurant next to the hotel, so it is also convenient to eat. You can walk to the city's attractions.

Everything was good. The room was clean. Very small desk to use if working but I managed. Excellent for dogs with great areas around the hotel to walk in. However, €15 per dog per night is a lot of money, especially as they only clean the room up on leaving. I was going to bring two dogs, but that would have been too much money.

There was a wedding in the hotel with very loud music booked without limit in time, i.e. very loud in the room. There were no other rooms for a change so we asked for canceling the booking, the hotel promised to return the money, but no return was done and as i understood, the problem is on trip.com side and payment was made here and hotel requested trip.com to refund me. so overall disappointed with...

I fell down in the bathroom in the bathtube, the concave bathtube is really dangerous. The noises coming from the high way were to much loud i had to change room for that, I advise to change the windows as the car passing from the vicinity of the hotel they make too much noises.

nice area, clean and quiet, only let down was restraunt options

Clean & Quiet Hotel is clean and quiet. Room was adequate in every way and included a big walk in shower. We opted not to have breakfast due to the cost of €15pp. Walked to the bakery down the street instead. Sauna is included but we did not visit. Gym next door can be used for €5 per day; we did not visit here. Our family did have dinner here in the evening and the food was not very impressive. We...

The Hotel was clean and pleasant, but sadly the restaurant, sauna and wellness could not be used because of the Covid shutdown.

Was my last stop of a 5 city Christmas market. Was about 25 min walk from the main train station but only 10 min to the christmas market. Room was spacious and quiet.Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a very nice 3 night stay.

Very nice staff. Great location. Room was big and very nice. Had a great stay.

Great location. Staff was very helpfull. Had a great room and stay.

Great location. The room was clean and functional, but small (Doppelzimmer Comfort). The breakfast was okay. Our room was on the fourth floor. The lift only goes up to three floors. The person at the entrance said from there it's only "a couple of stairs" to reach the top. But this is not true, it's a full flight of stairs to go up the floor. While climbing one flight was absolutely not a problem for...

Thanks for the great service and stay there in Braunschweig!

Pleasant hotel centrally located, with comfortable beds and strong air conditioning.

Room was quite large and clean, had no time to visit wellness. Room was cold at first- as the window was open but that's german habit. Turned on heating and temperature was fine in 2 hours.

Work related trip. Perfect hotel for good night sleep, big rooms, great breakfast. 5/5, staff very polite, speaking English

We go here often to play badminton. The courts are well-lit and clean. Easily reachable by car. Nice place to play badminton together with friends.

Everything is tiny at this hotel. The single bed in the room is probably the smallest bed ever, I really had trouble sleeping on it. The pillow size matched the bed size accordingly, small and pretty flat. I had to fold it in two to be able to use it. And this was for a Superior room! See the pictures attached. The TV in the room is also minuscule, watching from the bed is a real challenge, by far...

This hotel exceed my expectations. Nice quiet area. Big parking. Rooms are very good size. Breakfast very delicious and fresh, as top up when required, not all in one go.

We were here for badminton. Courts are nice. €12 per court. Food is decent. Would recommend.

Surprisingly good. Stayed overnight on the way to Austria from Denmark. Landed at 11 pm. Was served by friendly and efficient staff. Got 2 spacious rooms (2 adults + 2 adult children). The only minus was the heat in the room. It was very hot, but slept with the window open. We had breakfast included. It was fine. We got the two rooms and breakfast for 1400 DKK. Had to pay 7 euros extra for parking

The hotel's location is very good. Close to shopping, well-connected, and directly on the Ringleis. The rooms are clean and tidy. Some of the furniture is a bit older and worn.

Hotel is in building with more companies. It is in the first floor. Parking is ok, You have to drive trough an automatic gate and take a ticket. Hotel Is a budget hotel No air condition, no fridge and no minibar. Room is quite big. The breakfest is simple.

A good, quiet mid-range hotel. Very large, almost enormous (comfort) rooms. Clean. Quiet. Good breakfast buffet, including coffee to go during breakfast hours. A friendly reception. The surrounding ambiance—it's on the first floor of a former office building with a fitness center—takes some getting used to. Rather plain. But the price is definitely reasonable. We'll be back.

Friendly staff, good location with easy parking, 24h reception. It was short stay for me, only for the nigh during long drive but for this purpose it's convenient place.

The location is not easy to find

Great food, nice rooms and friendly staff. Would recommend without hesitation.

Very nice service and excellent german cuisine.

Nice and cozy hotel. I would only suggest to equip hotel rooms with an electric kettle just to let the guests to prepare themselves a cup of hot tea or coffee any time they need it.

It is a very pleasant surprize! I did not expect the food to be this good. Accommodation is ok, not special, but the food is rely good.

Very nice hotel-restaurant. The food is really good and the beer even better.

Very clean and quiet hotel. Not in the city centre but very close to the M3 stop which takes less than 10 minutes for downtown.

We stayed two nights in the suite on the top floor, which had also kitchenette. The room was very spaceous, ceiling super high, and the bathroom had a separate shower and bath tub. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The location is great for sight seeing on foot. The staff was very friendly and flexible: I booked two rooms by mistake, and they agreed to cancel the second room without any cost (they...

At 549 years old and located in the heart of the Magnitor area of Braunschweig is this rather stunning hotel. It’s old, really old, so all of the sharpness of a modern hotel should not be expected. The rooms are spacious and clean. As the windows are double glazed, the noise from outside is minimal. A rather comfortable stay in the heart of a beautiful city.

Clean bedrooms if a little sparse. Good breakfast and pleasant staff. Beautiful old building dating from 15th century. Christmas market 15 mins away and we'll worth several visits.

Very nice staff. Old house newly renovated. Rooms very fine as well the breakfast. Could be nice with a bar inside or outside.

Nice place, room clean with big windows giving a nice view on the church. Good restaurant and very kind staff

Clean nice sized rooms. centrally located. Friendly staff.
