Value for money rate is great! Bit older hotel but everything is very clean and how it should be. Food is good also! The pool area is nice as well. Enough towels and also there eveything is clean

We had a really pleasant stay, it was a pitty that the hot water tap didn’t have hot water as it should be. Compliments for the welness! The diner was ok, service excellent. We enjoyed the pool and the Sauna

This is a perfect example that not all hotels need to be brand new and need to have brand new furniture. If you make sure you are friendly, keep everything clean and delivery good value for money, all is good!

The room was clean, but there was a moldy smell inside and outside, and since there was no ventilation, the only option was to keep the balcony door constantly open. Both breakfast and dinner were average

The best feature of this hotel is the castle and river view from the window

On the positive side, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If you book a Mosel-view room, the scenery is stunning. Breakfast is plentiful and of good quality, served in a cozy and nicely decorated area

We had room 4 in the main building, close to the reception, which was clean, spacious, stylishly decorated, and well-equipped with A/C, TV, safe, fridge, coffee maker, free Wi-Fi, hair dryer, bath robes, slippers, a sauna bag containing towels and a blanket, and even a hiking backpack with a refillable water bottle

Parking next to the hotel is rather small, with space for about 12 cars. If it’s full, you’ll need to park elsewhere. The hotel does assist with alternative parking spots further away, but they’re not ideal

An impeccably run and maintained hotel about 15-20min walk from the centre of Cochem. If you're looking for a hotel to explore Cochem and the nearby region, you can't go wrong with Stumbergers

We'll be staying here next time we're in Cochem/ doing Nürburgring. The Great - Room size and cleanliness. Everything was very well maintained and of good quality. Everything fresh and food quality

Friendly, responsive, and make you feel very welcome. Quiet at night, supermarket (Penny) 3mim walk. Walking by the river into town is easy (flat) and enjoyable. - The on site bar/ restaurant

But they did let us keep my medication in their fridge. - Check out time is the same as breakfast. I'd recommend extending check out to 10. 30am to allow guests a bit of time after eating

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Stumbergers in Cochem. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and the service was excellent throughout our visit

Restaurant offers very good and local food. Breakfast is just fantastic and the staff is very helpful. The rooms were clean and cosy and we even had a terrace. There are facilities like sauna hammam and a swimming pool

A nice and clean hotel with spacious rooms. The bathroom was a bit dated, but clean. Dinner and breakfast were simply good, with a wide selection. Our stay coincided with my birthday

Room was exceptionally spacious with sofa and balcony. Swimming pool was quiet, relaxing and water temperature and was just right. The stand out was the restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful and comprehensive

Good breakfast. Nice view of the River Mosel. Was upgraded to a better room when i have to wait for a while while staff is looking for breakfast. Owner/manager checks on guests every now and then.

The nicest place to stay in Cochem. The family who owns the hotel could not have been nicer. The older woman patiently helped me find a taxi. Recommend to any Americans looking to stay in Cochem

They even let us keep our car there so we could see the sights before heading to the Black Forest. Can’t wait to come back and see more of beautiful Cochem. Tip: avoid the summer crowds and go in Spring or Fall

Really good family run hotel across the river from Cochem. It has great views of the castle. Parking tags are provided to park for free by the river

Hotels are expensive so the hotel is a good option on a budget (paid Euro 89 incl breakfast) Rooms are standard and the buffet breakfast basic but for the very central location and price was more than sufficient for a 1 night stay

Very clean and nice hotel. Excellent breakfast! Rooms on the backside where quite with only the sound of the river and the birds. Next time I would've parked my car in the parking garage down the street.

The family owners left details for us re parking and key in the room door. Room was clean, quiet and comfy, bathroom, although compact was all that you needed. Breakfast was typically German and plenty of it

Close to Altstadt and shopping. Also to the restaurants and cafes that open late. They have enough parking place for over 10 cars. Friendly owners that hang around greeting us as they’re serving breakfast

I went at 8 PM, was seated immediately, and have a glass of wine in front of me within two minutes. The staff could not of been friendlier, I was not rushed. I had the Jager art schnitzel and it was fantastic

We started with a glass of wine and view of the castle, which then ended in having dinner because of the lovely menu and fare prices. The service was lovely and friendly. And the food was delicious!!!

it's a lovely place with very nice food. We had white asparagus and salmon. unlike other extreme salty food we had in Germany it's super light and fresh. probably one of the best we had in Germany

What a great place! The best terrace in Cochem with the best view. A perfect steak, attentive staff, good beer and delicious wines. A firm favourite. Inside is equally good and full of character.

The accompanying salad was incredible. There was plenty of food and the prices were not unreasonable. This is a resort town, albeit a very small one. I would expect prices to be on the high side

Friendly and welcoming staff, comfy rooms, great breakfast buffet and delicious dinner. We also loved the in–house swimming pool. Our little daughter was welcomed everywhere and cared for beautifully

We went to the restaurant today for Mother's Day. There was a four-course meal, and I have to say, we haven't eaten as well as we did tonight in a long time

It was delicious, beautifully presented, and at €49, a real bargain

But I think that in time the Fürstenhof will shine again in its former glory like it did under the Häcker family - that would be great! We would definitely come back if there was an offer like the one from Hotel

Breakfasts are the highlight, great options & love the eggs on request so it comes out fresh, not many places do this, so its definitely a plus! Our room is clean and has a great view! Only thing that could be improved is the communication via booking
