ibis Dortmund City in Dortmund

To be clear, the only real problem I have with the room is the lack of a safe and a minifridge, which would both be really useful on longer trips, that hurts me a lot. Beds and everything else is as good as I personally could want, but not being able to keep cold drinks around is a bit naff.

Anyway, LOVELY little place otherwise, staff has been really nice, welcoming and helpful. Location is pretty great for what I needed to do, which is the only criteria I can really judge it by, hehe. Also has a proper food store (Rewe) literally next doorZ in the same building, very convenient.

Very friendly welcome and early access of room was not a problem!
Well located for the event at the IHK

Had good stay, easy to find hotel and park the car, designated spaces were all taken, however receptionist kindly gave me permit to display in window for the neighbouring bay. It was nice and quiet inside, everything was clean and up to expectations. Website didn't let us stay in the same room as the 5y old was considered as an extra person, but the offered discount for extra room made up for the inconvenience. Overall, good stay and would use again if I had to come around Dortmund.

The hotel was located conveniently for us. There are 3 supermarkets nearby, so it is very easy to buy anything you need.
The room was modern and practical. I found the pillow too flat, but they had an extra one in the room, so I used two and that was ok for me. We also didn’t hear anything from the other rooms, so soundproofing is probably good.
The bathroom is practical, but I would have liked an additional hand towel for drying the hands instead of only 2 bath towels (which are rather small as well) because I don’t want to wipe my face on the same towel that someone else wiped their hands on.
The only thing that would prevent me from staying in this hotel again if I am not alone: the toilet flush. It is so loud that the person sharing the room with you will be torn out of their sleep immediately if you flush the toilet at night, which is not good at all.

The room is a bit small, but the location is good, right in the center of Dortmund, the surrounding environment is also very good, comfortable and quiet. The facilities are a bit old, but it is considered big in Ibis

Friendly staff. Quiet with the window closed. The room, although quite small, was very clean. There is no wardrobe, just some shelves, but for 2-3 nights you can manage :)
I requested a twin room, and even though there were two beds pushed together, you had to move the furniture yourself to convert the room in a twin. All in all, considering the price, a choice I would make again, if I get to the area again.

It was clean and the staff was very kind and nice.

The hotel is nice and simple.. room is small but ok.. nearby easy look for food.. will come back again..
