Amazing day! The staff was the best part. We asked for an ice machine, but they don’t have them at hotels in Europe. A very nice staff member immediately helped us and ran and got us ice for our water bottles for the day. Went out of his way. Amazing place to stay!

Not far from the famous Eibsee, the hotel itself faces Badersee. The clientele is mostly European, no Chinese, the environment is very nice and quiet. Breakfast is a bit lacking; there are no vegetables, only a small amount of salad, but there's a good variety of bread. The bed was fairly comfortable, but I was very disappointed to find hair on the large bath towel. The hotel offers free transportation...

One negative point.: The food offered for the breakfast buffet was unfortunately every day the same and not sourced from the area the hotel is located in. That's not what one would expect from a 4 star hotel in Germany.

5/5 stay Excellent stay at this beautiful property on the lake. The spa is lovely and the lady manager was friendly and a pleasure to converse with 5/5. They also have parking on site for €10 which made it convenient

The accommodation is beautiful. The room has hair that may not be cleaned properly.

The location is, of course, phenomenal. Directly on the idyllic Badersee with a breathtaking mountain panorama. Pure nature, like something out of a picture book.

We liked that we could walk to town, where restaurants were plenty, and was a very short drive to the Zugspitze. But above all this, we absolutely love the Mountain Views, the beautiful flowers and the peace and quiet.

The front office staff are some of the nicest and most accommodating we had on our trip. They help with anything you need. The only little problem with the room was that there was no air conditioning in the room so it got a little stuffy and hot in the night time.

We come back to here every year! The location is perfect with the lake and mountain. The hotel is generous with offering paddle boards and small boats which makes a huge difference. The spa is incredible, and the food is absolutely fantastic. Above all these things, we always appreciate the staff. Love Quellenhof!! We stayed at Quellenhof Hotel 3 times during the weeks we visited our son in Garmisch. Each time we stayed on a different floor - every floor has a beautiful view of the Alps! Had an amazing time here, everyone was so nice and attentive. Great service at this hotel and great view from the room. The dinner we had was awesome and the breakfast was great as well. Close to a lot of hikes and you get a card for local transportation!

My wife, 17 year old son and I spent 2 nights in the apartment at the Alpenhof. The room was spaceous and comfortable. The breakfast was great, as were the hosts, and the location is excellent. We were not able to enjoy the outside areas due to rain during our full visit, but the stream in the backyard and outside lounging areas looked inviting. I suspect we may have been the only guests there...

Super hotel! very good location of the hotel. pleasant and polite staff. Delicious dinner. Breakfast selection is not great, but everything is very tasty. Beautiful view from the window of the room. The only negative is that only one sauna worked, instead of three (because of the COVID). But it was possible to swim in the pool. Recommended!

I stayed here alone on a leg of my road trip around Germany. Parking was easy and readily available. First of all, the pictures really do not do the location justice. I got a mountain view room (highly recommend; why come here and not have a balcony in the shadow of Zugspitze? It's truly breathtaking) and I must have spent three hours on the balcony that night just taking in the view. I was checked...

Loved staying right on the mountain side! There are a few things located around the hotel dining/hiking which was nice as well. The natural pool was also a highlight. Would definitely come back!

OMG! This was the most wonderful place to stay. The staff made us feel like family. We love the Bar area and our balcony was so peaceful. We didn't want to leave.

This place was amazing! It has a rustic yet modern feel. Only was there for one night, but if time was available I would have extended my stay. Barbara and her mother Christine have paid close attention to the details. Barbara even sent a email to make sure our stay was going well. Can’t say enough about the charm of this place. So many different areas to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Bayern Resort. The hotel is well maintained, clean and beautiful decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Especially Patrizio the server at breakfast made everyone’s day providing superb service! The room was modern and clean. I stay here a while ago but im telling you this place is super awesome the guy and lady running this place where great. It was like home i super like it, really respectful and they really take care of you.

Very cute hotel with everything you need and in a good location. The thing that sets this hotel apart is the absolutely incredible service they provide. We were blown away with how willing the staff were to help with whatever the situation (from transport advice to last minute covid test requirements). Highly recommend! And thank you once again!

I loved everything about this hotel. The location is the best and all the good spots are easily accessible with the bus. Restaurants and other shops are also 2 minutes away by feet. The host was super friendly and the hygiene was well maintained everyday. Loved it will definitely come back. :)

Absolute friendly environment, quiet, and great location. 5 minute walk to the town where you can walk as a family, public trans included with hotel and was great to get to the lake we wanted to go to. Within 10 min drive to city center for shopping and other things. Staff was great. They even provided bedding for my son and personal place mats with silverware for my son at breakfast. We live in 2025, having terrible WiFi with constant disconnects and a tv that has no internet access (apart from Ethernet which was obviously not provided) is unheard of. Also do note that the parking space is not guaranteed, if it’s a high peak season good luck finding parking space. The stuff were lovely though

Really loved this hotel. Our room with a mountain view was so beautiful, very large with extra lounge spaces, and had a nice balcony. We enjoyed the sauna and wellness area, and the staff was very nice in the mornings at breakfast. Overall the hot exceeded our expectations.

We made a last-minute reservation, and the receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful! The room was cozy, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The ambiance in the breakfast area was warm, and the view outside was stunning! I would definitely recommend it.

We’ve booked a room for two nights and it was amazing. The hotel is only some minutes by foot from the train station. The lady at the reception was sweet, she gave us really nicely what we needed and gave us all the informations we needed to visit Zugspitze, Eibsee and höllentalklamm (she even gave us some tips which were useful). We had a lovely stay at Nuss Hotel! The staff was absolutely amazing, super friendly and helpful! The room was very clean! Breakfasts were very tasty! 👌 you can find there everything you need- peace, nice views, beautiful routes nearby, great and easy train connection to GaPa! I stayed on my bike ride here and was completely satisfied. Except a hair dryer in the room is everything available, what you need as a cyclist. Price-to-performance ratio is good. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I spend 4 nights on Grainau, with outdoor temperature high positive, but always at one digit, as is usualy up in the mountain in late september. Due to putin action heating is not coming as before inside the hotel in Europe, but quilt at Garni Post was so amazing, light and worm. With a Garni Post Hotel quilt you do not need natural gas from russia.

Our vacation here was 5-star in every way. Verena and Ander were fantastic hosts and very welcoming! Breakfast was delicious, and for dinner, there are excellent Bavarian restaurants right around the corner! The local train stop is a few minutes walk away and goes to Garmisch to the north and Zugspitz/Eibsee to the south within a few minutes. We stayed 1 week at Hotel Post Grainau, end Januar and enjoyed our stay very much! The owners are guestfriendly and helpful and the hotel is very quiet. They have a space for storing ski equipment and you easily reach the hotel by Zugspitzbahn-train or bus (included in price of the stay thanks to the Grainau-card they give you at check-in). We had in the Hotel zur Post is a holiday. Good Price/Performance Ratio. Very nice and everything fashionable Hotelier. Is even in the power range of MTB racing and offers its guests guided MTB-tours.

It was my Solo trip to Grainau, when I booked Hotel Bergland for a night stay. The hotel offers a comfortable stay with Bavarian charm. It offers good breakfast and comfortable rooms. A cosy place for couples and solo travellers.

The final stop on our holiday & a characterful Hotel to finish in. Set off a quiet Street in Grainau this small well placed hotel was a pleasure to stay in. Breakfasts eaten in the garden were absolutely superb, we were just sorry not to be on 1/2 board to enjoy the suppers too(but there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance) ! Lovely hotel. Good location, breakfast and view of Zugspitze. Very close to Eibsee.

If you want to enjoy the GAP area this is a perfect location. Grainau and Längenfelder Hof is a great choice for alpine scenery. You can get here by the small train and will do well without a car. I recommend you rent bicycles (electric or other) as you have access to great roads and paths.

Very ,very suited for our stay !! In walking distance of everything: toxic lake ,and Garmisch (with its fish cafe store) and the famous gorge with a stream . What are transitional Hiking for 5-6 hours !!! And in the evening we had tea with warming liqueurs , pool and baths . Breakfast Deluxe . To the bus 5 min walk to the tourist train 15-20 min . I wish you all this holiday !!!

Wow wow wow! This is the best ski accommodation I have stayed in. Couldn't recommend it more. The food, the service and facilities are a step above the rest.

The location of the hotel is simply top-notch. The house is furnished with much love to Detail. The Boss and the entire staff is always concerned about the well-being of their guests. The house is highly recommended!!!
