One negative point.: The food offered for the breakfast buffet was unfortunately every day the same and not sourced from the area the hotel is located in. That's not what one would expect from a 4 star hotel in Germany.

5/5 stay Excellent stay at this beautiful property on the lake. The spa is lovely and the lady manager was friendly and a pleasure to converse with 5/5. They also have parking on site for €10 which made it convenient

Easy train to Garmisch. Quiet and staff were so friendly and helpful. They even had stamps for sale for our letters and postcards. Breakfast was excellent with a big variety of foods, even an omelet/egg station. Train to Eibsee/Zugspitze is a mini block away and takes you right there (train passes provided to us as part of our stay). Great experience and would return

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. The location is perfect for for hiking and enjoying the great outdoors. The hotel is wonderful to return to to relax, enjoy Bavarian cuisine and soak up the stunning setting.

The Eibsee Hotel is the most beautiful place, with stunning walks and cycling around the lake. We stayed only two nights but wished we had stayed longer. The staff were soft-spoken and very helpful, making our stay even more special – we can’t wait to return.

We liked that we could walk to town, where restaurants were plenty, and was a very short drive to the Zugspitze. But above all this, we absolutely love the Mountain Views, the beautiful flowers and the peace and quiet.

Comfy hotel for the price. Staff was polite and the location was amazing. Only critique I have is they could clear the snow in the parking lots a little more so there’s more parking spots.

We probably had the best view of the whole hotel! Staff was friendly, easy to get to. I will say though-it was hot every night. We had to keep windows open. I think the heat comes from the floor so they don’t/can’t control it…but besides that, I’d stay there again.

For the price I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, comfortable, and it has a beautiful view of the mountain from the balcony. The location is very close to Zugspitze and I had an excellent time here.

We made a last-minute reservation, and the receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful! The room was cozy, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The ambiance in the breakfast area was warm, and the view outside was stunning! I would definitely recommend it.

We’ve booked a room for two nights and it was amazing. The hotel is only some minutes by foot from the train station. The lady at the reception was sweet, she gave us really nicely what we needed and gave us all the informations we needed to visit Zugspitze, Eibsee and höllentalklamm (she even gave us some tips which were useful). We had a lovely stay at Nuss Hotel! The staff was absolutely amazing, super friendly and helpful! The room was very clean! Breakfasts were very tasty! 👌 you can find there everything you need- peace, nice views, beautiful routes nearby, great and easy train connection to GaPa! I stayed on my bike ride here and was completely satisfied. Except a hair dryer in the room is everything available, what you need as a cyclist. Price-to-performance ratio is good. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Me and my wife stayed for 4 days, it was actually great, the staff is really respectful and will try to accommodate you the best they can, breakfast is relatively good, and the balcony views are just breathtaking, the rooms are clean, the only thing worth mentioning is that it is too quiet after 20:00 pm and could be restrictive to move around or to talk too loud if you don‘t wanna disturb other guests...

Stayed here for a long weekend in May. Lovely location with friendly staff, parking, and a few cafes and restaurants nearby. A good selection of breads, cheeses, cooked meats etc at breakfast which was constantly topped up. Quiet location with fantastic views from our balcony, we were given a free upgrade on arrival which was a pleasant surprise. Would stay again if in the area.

We were a family of four. From the moment we entered the hotel, we felt at home. We stayed in an apartment, which was spotless clean, spacious and comfortable. Direct view of Zugspitze from balcony. One of the best hotel near Lake Eibsee. Lake Badersee is also at 15 minute walk. Bus stop is just 1 minute away. Amazing apartment. Clean washrooms. Hygiene maintained. As a student, affordable also. Staff is also supportive. good English speaker and native German speaker. Table tennis is also available in hotel. Best time to visit - May end/ June start. 20 minutes...

I spend 4 nights on Grainau, with outdoor temperature high positive, but always at one digit, as is usualy up in the mountain in late september. Due to putin action heating is not coming as before inside the hotel in Europe, but quilt at Garni Post was so amazing, light and worm. With a Garni Post Hotel quilt you do not need natural gas from russia.

Great room although, out of the 2 saunas one was no swimsuit ONLY and the other only on from 4pm-7pm, tried visiting the 3 hour per day running sauna and it wasn’t even on! The sauna already only runs for a small period of time atleast it could be on…. Also maybe the naked indoor sauna could have certain times where you can wear swimsuit, not everyone wants that kind of intimacy 😃

We stayed here over the summer and I’ve been meaning to leave a review. We loved the location, the apartment we stayed in, and everything about the place. It was perfect-quiet, thoughtfully decorated and the hosts were lovely. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to enjoy this beautiful area.

A wonderful experience staying here. Jenny and the other staff were welcoming and so helpful. The view from our terrace was spectacular and the room was cosy and comfy. The spa and pool were well maintained and great to use. Will definitely go again, highly recommend it.

If you want to enjoy the GAP area this is a perfect location. Grainau and Längenfelder Hof is a great choice for alpine scenery. You can get here by the small train and will do well without a car. I recommend you rent bicycles (electric or other) as you have access to great roads and paths.
