Amazing day! The staff was the best part. We asked for an ice machine, but they don’t have them at hotels in Europe. A very nice staff member immediately helped us and ran and got us ice for our water bottles for the day. Went out of his way. Amazing place to stay!

One negative point.: The food offered for the breakfast buffet was unfortunately every day the same and not sourced from the area the hotel is located in. That's not what one would expect from a 4 star hotel in Germany.

We liked that we could walk to town, where restaurants were plenty, and was a very short drive to the Zugspitze. But above all this, we absolutely love the Mountain Views, the beautiful flowers and the peace and quiet.

The front office staff are some of the nicest and most accommodating we had on our trip. They help with anything you need. The only little problem with the room was that there was no air conditioning in the room so it got a little stuffy and hot in the night time.

My wife, 17 year old son and I spent 2 nights in the apartment at the Alpenhof. The room was spaceous and comfortable. The breakfast was great, as were the hosts, and the location is excellent. A nice hotel in the town, with very friendly and welcoming staff.

The front desk staff were very helpful and gave me a guide to the accommodations. I only realized after reading it carefully the next day that there was free coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages. Parking was free. There was also a sauna.

The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful. My only issue throughout our stay was that all of the soaps and lotions at the hotel had some type of nut ingredient in them. My partner has a severe nut allergy and felt quite uncomfortable after finding out soaps and lotions were made from nuts. We have stayed here five times recently, every stay was great, good breakfast, friendly staff, great pool and spa, not many Mountain View’s ( due to weather) usually fantastic views though. This hotel always has a lovely atmosphere. We had a problem with streaming service in our room, someone came to look at it, but it wasn’t repaired by time we left. We only had world news to watch in evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay, especially the guided hikes provided through the hotel with Hermann. Hermann was a delightful and knowledgeable guide. With this price there is no bottle of water, boby lotion or slippers provided. The check out time is at 11am but at 9am the staff opened my door and checked. I was still in bed. Good hosts when staying in Garmisch. Wonderful family-run full service hotel in the centre of the resort town of Garmiscb-Partenkirchen. I liked it, but it's more like a cheap hotel. I found the heating set way too high and didn't see a thermostat to adjust the temperature. Additionally, the internet connection in my room was poor, so I used my own. An upgrade of the rooms would be nice, especially considering the €100 per night.

I love how comfortable the bed is! I rested super well! The room was spotless. The staff has been very nice and has a good location. There is a bank nearby and a couple of convenient stores. The hotel is about 12 minutes from the center / Marienplatz. I’d recommend it for solo travelers if they plan to visit Garmisch

This place is right on the way to the Rhine Falls. It can be used as a transit accommodation on the way to the Rhine Falls. There is a parking lot, which is quite large, and the breakfast is very rich.

We felt very comfortable at the Alphotel. It's not super-modern, but it was clean and well-maintained. Highlights were the view of a mountain range from the hotel room (with a balcony and small front garden) and the wonderful terrace where we enjoyed the generous breakfast. We spent one night here during a motorcycle tour. The accommodation was well-maintained and clean, with outdoor parking for the motorcycles. The sauna and pool area are available for use. We couldn't use the restaurant because it was closed on Sundays.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is behind a hill from the busy highway and thus quiet. The staff was also very good. However there were a number of maintenance items, especially in the shower. And you had to slam the door to get it to latch when leaving. Felt like they went cheap when they built it.
