Hotel is new and convenient, but in the room is quite cold.

The hotel is excellent, and well located the rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The facilities are well maintained, and we always had hot water. We enjoyed using the pool, although the jacuzzi was only lukewarm, which made it difficult to use in the cold weather, so we only went once. The breakfast offers a great variety of options. We have stayed here five times recently, every stay was great, good breakfast, friendly staff, great pool and spa, not many Mountain View’s ( due to weather) usually fantastic views though. This hotel always has a lovely atmosphere. We had a problem with streaming service in our room, someone came to look at it, but it wasn’t repaired by time we left. We only had world news to watch in evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay, especially the guided hikes provided through the hotel with Hermann. Hermann was a delightful and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed the many options available at breakfast each morning. Would highly recommend this property for its location to hiking trails, as well as local restaurants and shops.

This place is right on the way to the Rhine Falls. It can be used as a transit accommodation on the way to the Rhine Falls. There is a parking lot, which is quite large, and the breakfast is very rich.

I liked it, but it's more like a cheap hotel. I found the heating set way too high and didn't see a thermostat to adjust the temperature. Additionally, the internet connection in my room was poor, so I used my own. An upgrade of the rooms would be nice, especially considering the €100 per night.

Had a traditional alpine feel to the hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a nice location. Pro tip get a room not on the street side the church bells are loud.

I love how comfortable the bed is! I rested super well! The room was spotless. The staff has been very nice and has a good location. There is a bank nearby and a couple of convenient stores. The hotel is about 12 minutes from the center / Marienplatz. I’d recommend it for solo travelers if they plan to visit Garmisch

Charming old world hotel with authentic details. Comfortable room with all amenities. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, had omelet station in addition to large spread of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits and more. Lovely fresh squeezed orange juice too. With this price there is no bottle of water, boby lotion or slippers provided. The check out time is at 11am but at 9am the staff opened my door and checked. I was still in bed. Wonderful hotel with courteous, polite and helpful staff. Rooms are neat and clean with amazing mountain views. One of the best stays we have ever had. Rooms are comfortable and food has more varieties. Since we reached the hotel at 12 am, they charged heavily without any concern. However been thanked for giving us room in that later night to have good sleep after 6 hours of driving from Frankfurt

The hotel is not far from the train station, about 10 minutes' walk. I stayed here for one night before going to Zugspitze the next day. The facilities are a bit old, but the scenery is beautiful and the service staff are very friendly. I will consider staying here again next time I have a chance.

You cannot beat the location. You will spend more time waiting for the lights to change to cross the streets than you will walking to the old city. We stayed in the top suite for one night in January, and it was outstanding. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace, the indoor bathtub and spa shower, the private outdoor hot tub, and private outdoor sauna. We loved the outdoor infinity pool, which was lit up like the northern lights at night. Start for wonderful. On site parking for free. This was a fantastic stay.

The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful. My only issue throughout our stay was that all of the soaps and lotions at the hotel had some type of nut ingredient in them. My partner has a severe nut allergy and felt quite uncomfortable after finding out soaps and lotions were made from nuts. This is something that we feel should be advertised online because we likely would not have stayed at this hotel...

My third time staying here with family on a ski trip. It’s a super spot to stay with kids as the breakfast is great, it’s very handy for the train station and you can bring in take away for dinner after a long day on the slopes. The sauna is also great. Service from some is more with a frown than a smile but I’ll still be back

The room was very comfortable despite the high temperatures in the area. I especially liked the shower with very easy power and temperature adjustment facilities. Breakfast was great, with hot options available on request. I particularly liked the fruit, selection of breads, delicious butter and honey or jam. The staff were very pleasant.

Long ago this location was a flour mill, now a luxury hotel and spa in Garmisch. Rooms were clean, bed firm. They have a small gym, and many spa services. The bar has a decent selection of spirits, wine and beer. There is a lovely walking path along the river.

Fantastic location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had a short walk into Garmisch each evening for dinner and/or drinks and as we drove it was centrally located to sites we wanted to see. The swimming pool was also welcomed with temperatures in the 30 Celsius range during our stay. Would definitely return.
