Older hotel but room was very nice and staff was very accommodating.

On new year's eve my friend and I wanted to take the last S-bahn train home after celebrating the new year in Gernbach Altstadt. Unfortunately some strange men started following and harassing us and we ended up missing the last train. We weren't the only ones that missed the train and together as a group of 4 women we tried to shake these men off. Because we were afraid and especially with groups...

Staff was Very Friendly!. Even we don't understand the German Language, they manage to make our stay Enjoyable. All Necessities that we needed are all walking distance! (Food, Transportation and Supplies) for our 14 Day stay in Gernsbach!

Bed and breakfast facility available. no dinner no lunch provided..outside area of hotel is very calm but most of shops are closed very early so very less possibilities to get food after 7pm. We have just toured the Black Forest on our bikes all the way from the UK We stayed here so we would be at the start of the B500 What a great place , spotlessly clean, food 100% and the Chef & team were absolutely spot on .. Traditional restaurant a short walk from the funicular base station. Full of locals it seemed which is always a good sign. We stopped for some cake as our accommodation host recommended it. I also had a goats cheese salad which was excellent.

Can’t say enough about the excellent staff, great room, wonderful breakfast and excellent food in the restaurant. Everyone was helpful and informative. We stayed two nights and ate there both nights. I did not stay in the hotel so I cannot talk about the rooms or hotel part of Waldcafé. However, the restaurant is brilliant. There is a really nice outside eating area which is very pleasant when the sun is out. The food is very great, the service very quick and the people were very nice. If you're on your way to Merkurberg or even on your way down, make sure to make a stop !

Amazing food average prices great value for money

The hotel is average at best and I feel once we go to Baden-Baden realised there were many better places to stay. The best thing about the hotel was the massive room size and its balcony. But there were many problems - the water temperature in the showers was not consistent, there no acs so the rooms are very hot, etc During our stay there was also construction nearby so it was extremely.

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay with great views, an attentive staff, and excellent breakfasts. The rooms are a nice size and the balcony is a perfect place to relax. It is close to downtown with the town center just a short walk away. Went back 6 months later for dinner and as always was a very enjoyable experience. Food and service were excellent.

Great room and location. It is on a hill so walking may be difficult for some people. I liked the quiet and the view. Wifi worked and parking was free.

Great location. Amazing views. Nice room. Slept super well. Only complaint was the shower was very hard to get to the right temperature—it was either cold, or scalding hot. Nice and spacious rooms. Good breakfast, one can order omelet or porridge. Parking is available, but I it was a bit too narrow for our car.

Ideas for improvement The AC did not work. We asked for help and the receptionist tryed to work it out, but it was not possible. The bed would be much better if you could put a mattress topper on the bed. Everything else is very good

Getting to the hotel is difficult and the staff had no idea about the public transportation system and we almost missed our train but for convenience to the Caracalla spa it was perfect and you’re able to go directly into the spa and even pay at the hotel.

Perfectly adequate for one night. Access to the room was very straightforward.

The room was well equipped and neat and tidy, right next to the baths. There is a small tourist Tax that must be paid when you arrive outside of the indicated fee, but it wasn't prohibitive.

This property was awesome! It was in a quiet courtyard in a beautiful area of shops and dining. The owners addressed all details. My only suggestion would be to have a picture of the front door and sign on the website so you were completely sure you are entering the correct location.

Googlemaps had an issue finding the property but after we found it, it was easy. Quick and easy checkin. Room is quite small but it was clean. Baden-Baden has a “spa” tax and guests must complete the form and submit the tax with cash or PayPal separately. Definitely a challenge if you don’t speak German!

Great stay! The place was a bit smaller than I thought it would be but for one person it was fine. The toilet paper holder was broken but I emailed and they fixed it the day after.

This is such a quaint hotel right in the city centre with friendly staff. If you are looking for basics but great location and well heated rooms with larger bathroom this is for you. Nice but get a receipt! Our stay was great, comfortable room, nice area. However, I was charged twice for my room and have been unable to get the second charge refunded through hotels,com. Cons: limited space for serving food in the restaurant, always crowded. No pre-cut vegetables and a limited selection of sweet pastries (only croissants and biscuits). Room cleaning was average; bed linens were not changed during our 9-day stay. We only stayed one night, they were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were comfortable with noticeable upgrades for an older building. Breakfast was very good with lots of options but most of all the location to shopping can’t be beat for the price. We will return to this hotel.

A wonderful old villa that is now being used as a hotel! Located in the fancy central/ eastern part of the town, the staff are very well-mannered and -trained, the breakfast is delicious, and the room made me feel like I was in a movie about some posh people living in the late 19th/ early 20th century. Such a lovely city at Christmas, and Hotel Der Kleine Prinz suited the atmosphere perfectly. The numerous paintings of The Little Prince on every floor, in the lounge, and in the rooms were absolutely charming. This is a lovely smallish hotel, with nice individualized rooms. It is very quiet and well situated. The parking is shared with another hotel around the corner. It is near the center of the city. Breakfasts are nice with many varied options. We had an excellent dinner. The staff is very pleasant.

A wonderful stay in Baden Baden, the only thing that was a bit tricky was having to take trays up to our room or the terrace because we had our dog with us, but totally understand as the breakfast room was very small. It feels good and is recommended to stay. You can go with your family in groups. It is more suitable to choose summer and winter vacations for family stay. You need to make an appointment in advance. There are fewer rooms to avoid being out of room.

Visiting a show at the Kongress, perfect location, and in the centre of town for the evenings.

The breakfast was fabulous! Lots of great choices and excellent coffee. The room was small, but clean. It had a kettle and fridge and the bathroom had great lighting. The fridge wasn't super cold but I just assumed it was working. The front desk staff was kind and helpful, and accommodating with arrival time.

Breakfast is five-star and as satisfying as an average German family hotel👍 But if it's not the main building, you need to use a key. The doors to other auxiliary buildings also need to be opened with a key, which takes a while. And the basic room type may not have air conditioning but only a fan. But the weather in Baden-Baden is not too hot and can be tolerated. I like to simply tidy up before checking...

The staff was welcoming and friendly from the start, offering complimentary sparkling wine when we checked in. Pretty much everything in Baden Baden is walkable from the hotel given its location. If you take the bus from the train station, you can cut through the mall area to the hotel and save yourself a 10-15 minute walk as Google Maps suggests!
