Comfortable good value hotel provided a good sleep after long motorbike ride. The gentleman at the door was super friendly and provided good tips for the next day's ride. Cold beers available in the fridge were needed, and breakfast was good. Happy with my stay!

Stayed in the Kull von Schmidsfelden for two nights in July. Room was basic but clean. Breakfast was really good buffet-style with a range of fresh breads, meats, cheeses etc. The owners were really helpful, offering to drive us to the station on our last morning. There weren't many other guests in the hotel when we were there, but this did not bother us - Bad Herrenalb is a good base for exploring the north Black Forest - especially as we were given a free travel pass for local buses by the hotel.

perfect place to explore the beautiful area for a few days. Very clean, cozy, and convenient Hotel, walking distance to shops and restaurants etc. Fantastic breakfast that gets served in the cozy, traditional Black Forest "Jaeger Stube". Location is central but very safe and quiet.
Very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this Hotel again.

We were travelling to the Black Forest region to discover some ancestral family towns. Bad Herenalb was in a good location to be close to the places we we wanted to see. Our stay at the Kull wound up being an absolute delight. The staff was extremely helpful in every aspect, especially with navigating some of the lesser marked roadways. The rooms are a bit small, by U.S. standards, but probably what comes to mind in a quaint older European hotel, narrow balcony and all. The breakfast area has large windows and is brightly painted, making the breakfast spread served all the more enjoyable. The hotel has off street parking, and is located just off the main drive in town so traffic noise isn't a problem at all. An excellent value. I'll return there.

Well maintained traditional hotel in the centre of town with good access to shops and park. Host is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Remote check-in by phone at unmanned reception, but all worked well. Car parking right outside the door.

The hotel is very conveniently located opposite the spa. From the higher floors you can look out over the beautiful BuGa park. The rooms are simply furnished and very quiet. The interior of the building has a lot of "century flair".

The location is great, very friendly service but the room was small, no shower gel, hairdryer, soap, small case for clothings, no lift, night-light is strong. Will be beter for 3 stars hotel for this price.
