I was disappointed with this hotel. Nothing was bad, but nothing was outstanding either. Its name is Central City Boutique Hotel, so that is an accurate description of its location. It is located just off of the Marktplatz in the historic city center. There's nothing much for restaurants close by except some Turkish fast food. It's challenging finding the parking garage and then parking is very confusing.

Not that special. Parking lot is very small. Read: there is place for6 in a garage that can hold 3 cars. Breakfast is very sober. Staff is okay, but reserved. A lot of restaurants in the area so you can have a good meal. Rooms are okay, not that beautiful but just ok

Everyone's opinion of their accommodation is different, so I only detail the things I thought were good and bad - make up your own mind. We booked a superior double (216) room with car parking THE GOOD Fantastic very large clean airy room. Super modern bathroom with stand alone shower and corner bath. Very large comfy bed. Small balcony with two chairs. Very close to market square (approx 5 minute walk) THE BAD There was no air con, but didn't feel we needed it, even though it was 30 degrees outside. There were no English channels on the TV and no literature in the room. We had to ask reception for the Wifi code. The view from the balcony was just of the back of another section of the hotel, with bins and fire ladders - not very pleasant. Parking was underground in a very tight car park, 16 spaces, 8 on top of each other - you would need to be a confident car parker to use this car park.

The location was perfect. Easy walk to the main sights. We enjoyed the small sauna and steam room downstairs and the staff were very friendly especially the owner of the hotel.

Very good hotel right in the middle of the town. Nicely decorated rooms, very clean. Excellent breakfast with a good range of choices, delicious dinner too. I stayed few times, both business and leisure, quite fit for both due to the position and facilities.

Bed bugs and cockroaches, the worst hotel I have ever had...
During my 2 weeks business travel staying I have had 3 rooms. First they did not have enough single room, so I needed to stay 2 nights together with my collegues.
After that I got a single room. I wish I have stayed in that double room with my collegue...
However one morning I woke up having many bites on my ankle and on my wristle and I found a bug on the bed. I thought it is horselfy or something.
But I googled it and I recognized, that this is BED BUG. I immediately told it to the hotel staff. I got a new room and they washed my colthes and let me dry and decontaminate them in the sauna.
The most surrealistic scene happened soon:
One afternoon I wanted to give back the old bed bug room's key back to the staff. I was waiting at the reception with an other guy and a cockroach passed-by.
A lady arrived and she took the bed bug room's key from me and immediately give that key to the other guy. Yes after half day "cleaning" they opened the room again.
Probably they had this issue, but they just did not care about it.
I wanted to go to another accomodation, but the city was full and I could have transferred the bed bugs there too so I was in a trap.
When it came to paying they did not give any discount or any compensation at all...

This comfy and cozy hotel is located right in the heart of Bad Mergentheim and is only a very short walk to anything you might want to do here. The staff at the hotel was incredibly nice and made our stay even more enjoyable. I recommend the “superior” room to have a little more space and comfort without paying a superior price. We had dinner at the hotel one night and it was fantastic! I will be returning.
