Customer service was excellent and the hotel is very convenient to all that the old town has to offer. The hotel is very charming and the restaurant was fantastic also. The room was very comfortable. We were able to walk easily anywhere we wanted to go. This was the perfect stay for our visit to the Rothenburg Christmas markets and we would highly recommend!

The parking was very safe, although initially a little difficult to find. The staff was incredibly friendly. The breakfast was continental and it was adequate. The location was absolutely amazing.

Location is right on the Main Street. Steps from everything. Atmosphere is authentic old wood antiques. Great restaurant and breakfast. Rooms are very large and has all the modern amenities. Very helpful staff.

Very clean and spacious! An old-style hotel, the first floor has a restaurant, which is quite nice. Downstairs is the famous landmark, Buyunlai! There's a large wine barrel at the entrance, and the hotel has blue walls.

Great location right next to the well-known Plönlein. The breakfast was terrific. Everything you could want, from jammy hard boiled eggs, to all kinds of breads and meats and cheeses.

We brought our tour group of 19 people to the Hotel Gerberhaus in mid-August 2021 on the first night of our trip. We received such a warm and friendly welcome that it helped ease all our fears of COVID restrictions and concerns. The hotel was very comfortable with country-style rooms and a charming garden courtyard. It is very close to the heart of Rothenburg, but is also quiet and secluded at night. It was easily accessed from the P1 parking lot just outside the wall. Breakfast was great with a large variety of classic German choices, and everything had the feeling we were staying at our German grandmother's house! I'd highly recommend the Gerberhaus for anyone looking to experience a cozy stay within the walls of this magical town.

Our family stayed at the Hotel Gerberhaus July 16 -18, 2019. It was, without question, an outstanding stay! Our family stayed in the family apartment. It exceeded our expectations! I really wish I remembered the name of the young gentleman who took care of our needs.
He was extremely polite and helpful during our stay.
The location was perfect. The hotel is located a two minute walk from one of the most photographed clock tower in Germany! We were able to park right outside the hotel for free at night.
The breakfast was very good and tasty each morning. We enjoyed the coffee in the morning and drinks in the courtyard in the evenings.
Our only regret was we wished we should of booked more than two nights at this outstanding hotel!

Great location. Tidy room with a spacious bathroom. Good breakfast buffet in the morning. Nice enclosed garden area for having tea or cocktails. On a main street, but not in the busiest area so it is quiet. Easy walk to everywhere. Only negative was that there was a 1" step up from the bathroom to the bedroom with a somewhat sharp edge. It was a toe killer.

Great hotel but horrible front staff person. She made us feel totally unwelcome and gave us massive attitude. Also said it was great we weren’t gonna stick around for breakfast. Fire her please she doesn’t deserve to be in service industry.

Very friendly staff who is eager to help and explain the history of the hotel. It is a historical building so do not expect a lot. The beddings can be a bit more comfortable though. No aircon but it is indicated. Location is excellent right in the centre of the ancient town of Rothenburg. Parking is available which is a nice surprise.

What a beautiful town this hotel is in, very old and exquisite, our experience at the hotel was let down by the bathroom ( in our room anyway). I challenge anyone other than a 6 year old child to be able to comfortably use the toilet , it is jammed between the bath tub and the wall ,if it weren't so impossible to use to would have been hilarious

Me and friend stay here for one night, and we are very satisfied! Very central location, only one minute to the central square. The room is big and comfy and the bathroom is spacious and well decorated. The only one concern I have is regards the view from the windows. Our room is facing the wall of the neighboring building and there is not much to see. The peak is that there is zero-to-non noise though.

We have stayed at Hotel Eisenhut before, and we always come back. Great Hotel, great service, and very friendly. Beautifully appointed, spacious rooms, very comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing.
