4 star hotels in Baden-Baden

Looking for a quiet place to spend a weekend after some stressful weeks, I decided to go to Baden-Baden, and ended up at the Atlantic Parkhotel. I do not regret my decision. The hotel is a really charming, well maintained gem from the Wilhelminian period. The location is perfect, just across the Theater Baden-Baden, the Casino, a few steps and one is in the middle of the center with lots of coffee...

The hotel is beautiful and in a prime location in Baden Baden. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay, and the Christmas market was literally on our doorstep. A must place to stay if you are lucky enough to visit.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Atlantic. Beautiful, classic hotel in a fabulous location. I will come back.

The staff was welcoming and friendly from the start, offering complimentary sparkling wine when we checked in. Pretty much everything in Baden Baden is walkable from the hotel given its location. If you take the bus from the train station, you can cut through the mall area to the hotel and save yourself a 10-15 minute walk as Google Maps suggests!

A wonderful old villa that is now being used as a hotel! Located in the fancy central/ eastern part of the town, the staff are very well-mannered and -trained, the breakfast is delicious, and the room made me feel like I was in a movie about some posh people living in the late 19th/ early 20th century. I would definitely go there again, what a lovely place.

Such a lovely city at Christmas, and Hotel Der Kleine Prinz suited the atmosphere perfectly. The numerous paintings of The Little Prince on every floor, in the lounge, and in the rooms were absolutely charming. We stayed on the top floor, which felt like a cozy wooden cottage—very special and warm. One small point: we received only one bottle of water for the entire stay, which felt a bit limited....

This is a lovely smallish hotel, with nice individualized rooms. It is very quiet and well situated. The parking is shared with another hotel around the corner. It is near the center of the city. Breakfasts are nice with many varied options. We had an excellent dinner. The staff is very pleasant.

It was a fantastic property in a great location. Rooms were clean, very comfortable and luxurious. We enjoyed the breakfast and afternoon tea.

We stopped here during a family trip. I’d way under estimated the place from when I booked it. Just walking into the lobby showed that this place was very nice. Rooms confirmed this. Cons: limited space for serving food in the restaurant, always crowded. No pre-cut vegetables and a limited selection of sweet pastries (only croissants and biscuits). Room cleaning was average; bed linens were not changed during our 9-day stay. Pros: spacious rooms with balconies, air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee machine, excellent pool and saunas, and beautiful interiors.

Stayed at Leonardo Royal hotel with my son whilst on a bike tour. We arrived very hot and sweaty after a day riding in sweltering heat from Reims and were offered a glass of water each which was a kind gesture and greatly appreciated. Nice old hotel Service and staff were excellent. Old style hotel with no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up some steep stairs. Breakfast was wonderful and the garden was so beautiful. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

It feels good and is recommended to stay. You can go with your family in groups. It is more suitable to choose summer and winter vacations for family stay. You need to make an appointment in advance. There are fewer rooms to avoid being out of room.

Beautiful house in a good location, but in urgent need of modernization

Great hotel well located. But the room does not deserve the 4 stars. Endless stairs to go up to the attic room I hit my head three times to get out of bed and the worst is you hit your head every time you go to the toilet ..... no sink in the bathroom but in the room when you go to the toilet at night you wake everyone up to wash your hands Horrible

A wonderful stay in Baden Baden, the only thing that was a bit tricky was having to take trays up to our room or the terrace because we had our dog with us, but totally understand as the breakfast room was very small. All the Staff were all lovely and the rooms were beautiful and large, location is perfect for exploring Baden Baden. Thank you.

Stayed for 4 nights. The big hotel is the under renovations so the hotel has moved to a smaller house. We didn't get the room with park view we wanted, but we got an even better one. Loved my stay. The rooms were lovely and the bed was so comfortable and my room facing the back was quiet and perfect for my stay. The location is great too and just a quick 10 - 12 minute walk to the spas either via the road up the hill and down the other side past the church or go along the main shopping street just feet away from the hotel and then curve around a few streets and you're at both spas...

Wonderful location and very nice hotel.

Nice and spacious rooms. Good breakfast, one can order omelet or porridge. Parking is available, but I it was a bit too narrow for our car.

Difficult to find. ******* did not give accurate address. Had to ask for former pillows 3 x.

Ideas for improvement The AC did not work. We asked for help and the receptionist tryed to work it out, but it was not possible. The bed would be much better if you could put a mattress topper on the bed. Everything else is very good

Getting to the hotel is difficult and the staff had no idea about the public transportation system and we almost missed our train but for convenience to the Caracalla spa it was perfect and you’re able to go directly into the spa and even pay at the hotel.

Beautiful spacious rooms at the best central location with underground direct passage to the spa. Very clean, modern, kind staff and exceptional service. I totally recommend it. Lost one star in overall grading for 2 reasons. No one is speaking english not even the reception desk and it was hard to communicate. Also there is no reception desk service in the evening / night and the door was locked...

We have just toured the Black Forest on our bikes all the way from the UK We stayed here so we would be at the start of the B500 What a great place , spotlessly clean, food 100% and the Chef & team were absolutely spot on .. Anyone who leaves a 1 star review clearly hasn’t worked in hospitality .. We had a 1700 mile round trip and stayed here for 3 nights .. We will be back for sure 🏍🏁🍺

Traditional restaurant a short walk from the funicular base station. Full of locals it seemed which is always a good sign. We stopped for some cake as our accommodation host recommended it. I also had a goats cheese salad which was excellent.

Can’t say enough about the excellent staff, great room, wonderful breakfast and excellent food in the restaurant. Everyone was helpful and informative. We stayed two nights and ate there both nights. I did not stay in the hotel so I cannot talk about the rooms or hotel part of Waldcafé. However, the restaurant is brilliant. There is a really nice outside eating area which is very pleasant when the sun is out. The food is very great, the service very quick and the people were very nice. If you're on your way to Merkurberg or even on your way down, make sure to make a stop !
