A very welcoming and friendly place to stay, as a foreign visitor the staff were very helpful, especially Ida on reception. I didn't have a chance to try the restaurant but the breakfast was of a good standard for a hotel. I shall certainly stay there again on my return to Buhl next year.

Solid 3 star hotel. Though there was mold on the faucet of my room - I reported to the reception and the team later offered me another room. The lady running the bar is a 5 star person!

Very nice hotel. Beautifully finished bathroom. Staff is very friendly, appearing happy to work there. Lots of space in the hotel. Walking around is a small discovery tour. I even found a large slot car racing track for the kids. The hotel really seems to be run with a mindset of pleasing guests, rather than maximizing profit in a minimum of space.

Lovely hotel but parking somtimes difficult

Stayed here due to my campervan going down. Was on the way to my campground when suddenly it wasn’t working proper when going up a mountain and had a hard time finding a place to sleep. Everything was closed or was on holiday. Thank goodness my boyfriend did his best to find some people to help us out and found about this hotel that had a spot for us and a bit cheaper as well due to the inconveniences...

Welcoming and friendly place in central Buehl 6 minute walk from the station. A cracking hotel with very friendly and kind staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. The room was small but perfectly clean and functional. A lovely waterside bar to enjoy a perfect pint of beer. A wanted to rate it with 5 but because of the heat system didn't do it ,it's a very nice hotel but as a suggestion they should put the heat in winter higher ,we passed a cold night yesterday and we had not the temperature regulator in our room to make it better. We were visiting Bühl to see distant family and the place my family originated from before emigrating to the US. Since it was summer we were concerned about AC and that was why we chose the hotel. I've stopped there for a night for the last two years during post Christmas season. I've always liked the room at this hotel, descent size and very quiet and clean. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast. Would highly recommend it to travellers, and I'll personally definitely go back there when I'm in baden baden again.

I had a perfect stay here. The hosts are so friendly and hospitable. The rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. Parking is free. The breakfast is better than most 5* hotels I’ve stayed in, it must take them hours of prep and yet they’re still happy and smiley with every guest at 7am. Cons: limited space for serving food in the restaurant, always crowded. No pre-cut vegetables and a limited selection of sweet pastries (only croissants and biscuits). Nice old hotel Service and staff were excellent. Old style hotel with no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up some steep stairs. Breakfast was wonderful and the garden was so beautiful. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

It feels good and is recommended to stay. You can go with your family in groups. It is more suitable to choose summer and winter vacations for family stay. You need to make an appointment in advance. There are fewer rooms to avoid being out of room.

Beautiful house in a good location, but in urgent need of modernization

Great hotel well located. But the room does not deserve the 4 stars. Endless stairs to go up to the attic room I hit my head three times to get out of bed and the worst is you hit your head every time you go to the toilet ..... no sink in the bathroom but in the room when you go to the toilet at night you wake everyone up to wash your hands Horrible

You can walk to the ******, which is situated literally next to the hotel. If you're traveling by train, then it's better to take a taxi from Baden-Baden bahnhof to the hotel vice versa. Highly recommended.

The location is excellent and affords an easy walk right into town. The underground parking is tight for a larger car but you can squeeze in, it was busy when we visited. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast a good selection. Rooms were good and adequate.

A traditional hotel next to *** It's beautifully renovated and very comfortable. The breakfast is also satisfying. Location It's a great location, close to the promenade and the town, making it a great place to stroll around. I highly recommend strolling around town and visiting the hot springs. The photo shows this hotel when it first opened. It was on display inside the hotel.

A wonderful old villa that is now being used as a hotel! Located in the fancy central/ eastern part of the town, the staff are very well-mannered and -trained, the breakfast is delicious, and the room made me feel like I was in a movie about some posh people living in the late 19th/ early 20th century. This is a lovely smallish hotel, with nice individualized rooms. It is very quiet and well situated. The parking is shared with another hotel around the corner. It is near the center of the city. Breakfasts are nice with many varied options. We had an excellent dinner. The staff is very pleasant.

The staff was welcoming and friendly from the start, offering complimentary sparkling wine when we checked in. Pretty much everything in Baden Baden is walkable from the hotel given its location. If you take the bus from the train station, you can cut through the mall area to the hotel and save yourself a 10-15 minute walk as Google Maps suggests!

The breakfast was fabulous! Lots of great choices and excellent coffee. The room was small, but clean. It had a kettle and fridge and the bathroom had great lighting. The fridge wasn't super cold but I just assumed it was working. The front desk staff was kind and helpful, and accommodating with arrival time.

Breakfast is five-star and as satisfying as an average German family hotel👍 But if it's not the main building, you need to use a key. The doors to other auxiliary buildings also need to be opened with a key, which takes a while. And the basic room type may not have air conditioning but only a fan. But the weather in Baden-Baden is not too hot and can be tolerated. I like to simply tidy up before checking...

Pleasant means it was nice but not outstanding. As other reviews have said the breakfast really was very good. The bathroom was very good quality and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable but décor was a little underwhelming. It is very close to a lovely park.

We only stayed one night, they were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were comfortable with noticeable upgrades for an older building. Breakfast was very good with lots of options but most of all the location to shopping can’t be beat for the price. We will return to this hotel.

A wonderful stay in Baden Baden, the only thing that was a bit tricky was having to take trays up to our room or the terrace because we had our dog with us, but totally understand as the breakfast room was very small. The hotel is very well located in the center of Baden-Baden, with a very good and varied buffet breakfast. The service was average and polite. Now, regarding the comfort of the single room, it was very poor—too small, poorly soundproofed, and the mattress was very poor for a child. The bed was fine for one night, but I don't recommend it. There are better hotels nearby for a little more.

The staff is friendly and was very keen to help us with our requests. Pets are welcome. We were in room 8, which is the only one with a door to the backyard. The room was clean and spacious and felt like a memory of old times splendor

Yes, I arrived at 12 noon and they let me check in early, which was very considerate. The breakfast snacks were average, and the cakes were especially good, but the variety was a little less than other places.

Loved my stay. The rooms were lovely and the bed was so comfortable and my room facing the back was quiet and perfect for my stay. The location is great too and just a quick 10 - 12 minute walk to the spas either via the road up the hill and down the other side past the church or go along the main shopping street just feet away from the hotel and then curve around a few streets and you're at both spas...

Beautiful city Baden-baden is a beautiful city with a historic city centre, the hotel/restaurant was hosted by nice people. We could easily have stayed longer.

Great location fro restaurants and shopping. Closest parking is a 7 minute walk. Parking availability on the website and in the guest book is misleading. Breakfast was yummy.

The option to bring my pet was a huge advantage, as it's not always easy. The staff is super friendly, and I can only say I would come back.

I was happy to learn that pets were allowed, as I had my small dog with me. Our suite was very clean, and I felt very comfortable there.

Very quaint boutique hotel in the heart of the old town... Beautiful shopping district with lots of restaurantsnand a beautiful park with river to walk through (nearby). Walking distance to 2 thermal pool spas. If self driving there is no parking at the hotel, but there are a couple of parking garages nearby (4 blocks). Its very charming.
