I had a wonderful stay at the Leonardo Royal Baden-Baden Hotel. The facilities were excellent, the location is perfect for exploring the city, and the rooms are comfortable and well maintained.
What truly stood out was the outstanding service at the reception. A special thanks to Aisha Masood – she was extremely professional, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth during my stay. Her kindness and efficiency set the tone for the whole visit and made me feel genuinely cared for.
Highly recommend this hotel, especially thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff – and Aisha in particular.

We stopped here during a family trip. I’d way under estimated the place from when I booked it. Just walking into the lobby showed that this place was very nice. Rooms confirmed this. Very nice rooms, huge comfortable beds, good bathrooms.
Spa and wellness centre was free to use and has a pool, 2 saunas and a steam room. Towels and robes were supplied in the room.
Very nice bar area and terrace.
Parking was available, albeit €20-25 for the night.
Would use again.

Cons: limited space for serving food in the restaurant, always crowded. No pre-cut vegetables and a limited selection of sweet pastries (only croissants and biscuits). Room cleaning was average; bed linens were not changed during our 9-day stay.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was a complete disappointment in terms of service and the quality of provided amenities.
Cleanliness and Room Preparation:
The room was not properly cleaned. I found hairs from previous guests in the bathroom, on the bed, and even on the towels — which is completely unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be of a high standard. Housekeeping was poorly executed: towels weren’t replaced, bathrobes remained crumpled on the floor, and several basic items were missing, such as tissues, still water for the coffee machine, a shower cap, disposable toothbrush, and other essentials.
Reception and Lobby Area:
The lobby itself was visually nice, with a good design. However, the reception experience was frustrating. Only one receptionist was available at all times, leading to long waits. It was clear that a second staff member could have been working, as the front desk had space for more.
Room Features:
The room itself was spacious and beautifully designed, and I especially appreciated the large balcony, which added a pleasant touch to the stay.

I had high expectations for breakfast after reading positive reviews online. However, the quality and selection were shockingly poor. The food was bland, lacking seasoning or taste, including the omelet made on the spot. There was no variety — no syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes), crepes, waffles, or decent scrambled eggs. Even dessert options were disappointingly limited.
This was genuinely one of the worst breakfasts I’ve experienced at a hotel.

Stayed at Leonardo Royal hotel with my son whilst on a bike tour. We arrived very hot and sweaty after a day riding in sweltering heat from Reims and were offered a glass of water each which was a kind gesture and greatly appreciated. The hotel is lovely and clean and the room exceeded our expectations with great facilities and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of food and drink options. The hotel staff especially the receptionists were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic stay and highly recommended.

One small criticism, which has nothing to do with your hotel: The charging stations for electric cars in the parking garage were regularly blocked by non-electric vehicles. Unfortunately, the warnings on the windshield wipers seemed to have little effect.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms, and excellent value for money. Dinner was delicious with a good selection. Breakfast was good too, though a bit more variety would be great. Loved that it's dog-friendly but small touches like bowls for pets in the room would make it even better. Overall, a great stay!
