Hotels in Baden-Baden

I've stopped there for a night for the last two years during post Christmas season. I've always liked the room at this hotel, descent size and very quiet and clean. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast. Would highly recommend it to travellers, and I'll personally definitely go back there when I'm in baden baden again.

Great Hotel for Baden-Baden, however the walk back from the town centre may be a little too steep for some.

We stopped for one night as we travelled through europe. The staff were friendly but quite slow in serving terms. The hotel ran out of beer on the first round and didn't offer dinner. Rooms clean and fresh.

Very cosy and quiet place to spend romantic vacation or businesstrip. Not far from the main attractions. We spent fantastic fortnight on this, 2015 new year. Thanks a lot to all the staff for care and the hotel owner for quality management!

We have just toured the Black Forest on our bikes all the way from the UK We stayed here so we would be at the start of the B500 What a great place , spotlessly clean, food 100% and the Chef & team were absolutely spot on .. Anyone who leaves a 1 star review clearly hasn’t worked in hospitality .. We had a 1700 mile round trip and stayed here for 3 nights .. We will be back for sure 🏍🏁🍺

Traditional restaurant a short walk from the funicular base station. Full of locals it seemed which is always a good sign. We stopped for some cake as our accommodation host recommended it. I also had a goats cheese salad which was excellent.

Can’t say enough about the excellent staff, great room, wonderful breakfast and excellent food in the restaurant. Everyone was helpful and informative. We stayed two nights and ate there both nights. Food is well prepared and very good portions. This is a very quiet hotel on a hill and within walking distance to the vehicular incline which provides beautiful views. I did not stay in the hotel so I cannot talk about the rooms or hotel part of Waldcafé. However, the restaurant is brilliant. There is a really nice outside eating area which is very pleasant when the sun is out. The food is very great, the service very quick and the people were very nice. If you're on your way to Merkurberg or even on your way down, make sure to make a stop !

Amazing food average prices great value for money

We had an excellent stay here and we will definitely come back if we travel in the Black Forest area again. The owner is super friendly and offered clear guidance about access prior to our arrival. We stayed at the hotel due to a business event nearby. From the outside, it's rather unassuming, but inside it's a gem. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and everything is impeccably maintained and clean. I had a perfect stay here. The hosts are so friendly and hospitable. The rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. Parking is free. The breakfast is better than most 5* hotels I’ve stayed in, it must take them hours of prep and yet they’re still happy and smiley with every guest at 7am. There is no restaurant onsite so I ate at the restaurant opposite, there is however an honesty bar. I can’t wait...

A very nice chalet-style hotel, 10 minutes from the charming center of Baden-Baden, in a quiet location at the foot of the forest. The room had a terrace, and there was parking right outside. The breakfast was excellent with an extraordinary selection. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a pleasant overnight stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, both at checkin and during breakfast. The breakfast itself was very good and well organized. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy. The location is also excellent perfect for exploring the city on foot. A small downside was that there was no air conditioning in the room. We only stayed one night, they were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were comfortable with noticeable upgrades for an older building. Breakfast was very good with lots of options but most of all the location to shopping can’t be beat for the price. We will return to this hotel.

Staff was so nice and helpful! What a nice surprise, Room was amazing. It was like we had a small apartment! Breakfast was very good. Better than most of the hotels we have stayed. The staff went out of their way to accommodate.

Good breakkfast in the rate. The manager changed my room to give me a bathtub which I greatly appreciated. I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past five years.

What an absolute gem of a hotel! We had a lovely room with a balcony. Don’t get me wrong this hotel is not posh, but neither is the price tag. It’s a charming little boutique hotel in a fabulous location that offers an excellent breakfast.

Pleasant means it was nice but not outstanding. As other reviews have said the breakfast really was very good. The bathroom was very good quality and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable but décor was a little underwhelming. It is very close to a lovely park.

The breakfast was fabulous! Lots of great choices and excellent coffee. The room was small, but clean. It had a kettle and fridge and the bathroom had great lighting. The fridge wasn't super cold but I just assumed it was working. The front desk staff was kind and helpful, and accommodating with arrival time.

I highly recommend this hotel. I didn't speak English well at check-in, so the female staff member gave me a dirty look, but the male staff member was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately a mediocre experience. Our room 303 was spacious and up to date furnished but nothing special. Bathroom was clean and up-to-date as well. Main beds were good. Breakfast was ok. Parking can be done in 2 parking garages in walking distance and costs max 20 p/d. Limited in hight but our tiguan with rooftop box fitted in. Hotel location is great and in dead center of town. Ideal for a visit...

Breakfast is five-star and as satisfying as an average German family hotel👍 But if it's not the main building, you need to use a key. The doors to other auxiliary buildings also need to be opened with a key, which takes a while. And the basic room type may not have air conditioning but only a fan. But the weather in Baden-Baden is not too hot and can be tolerated. I like to simply tidy up before checking...

A wanted to rate it with 5 but because of the heat system didn't do it ,it's a very nice hotel but as a suggestion they should put the heat in winter higher ,we passed a cold night yesterday and we had not the temperature regulator in our room to make it better. The hotel was really quiet, the room was clean and comfortable. The view from our room was of the vineyards. We didn't notice that the hotel restaurant wasn't open on Sundays and the friendly receptionist offered us a fruit plate with nuts for lat- night snack. We can recommend it. The breakfast was also plentiful.

Good hotel considering the location

Clean room. Easy access from freeway. Better than other reviews. But only there for a short time before flight in the morning. It was clean and warm. Nice to have water there for us. Could benefit from signs showing the entrance.

Needed a place to stay at short notice. Clean conveniently located. Bit pricey store though.

It's right next to the highway, with a 24-hour front desk and a McDonald's next door. Parking is very convenient, but the facilities are a bit old. The hygiene is acceptable.

Overnight stay on the way to Spain from Dk. The room is a bit like you would expect from a highway motel, but it was a clean room with room for all of us.

I will always come back. This was my second stay at this nice hotel in Baden-Baden and I will always return. The staff has been very nice. The room (solo travel) is roomy for a hotel in Germany. I particularly love the towel heater in the bathroom, the view from the room, and the comfortable bed.
