We had some very nice stays here from 2018-2021. The breakfast Müsli was worth the stay alone, and dinner at the restaurant was also fantastic. Most importantly the host was very caring, welcoming, and thoughtful.

We are very sad that this place has closed, forget from time to time, and try to book it again.

Staff were very friendly and very helpful .The breakfast was excellent- a wide range to choose from,hot and cold dishes, juices, breads. Even a nice selection of teas and coffees. A very high standard .

A charming find in a wonderful location! The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast left nothing to be desired. I warmly recommend it.

This is an amazing hotel, I’ve stayed in many 5-star hotels but this one is probably the place where hospitality is at its best. All the details from the room, bed, shower, shower, towels are very comfortable and good quality products, the breakfast buffet is included- it is so nice with many choices of food (for example you can have a 3-min soft boiled egg or 5-min hard boiled egg). The amount of details amazed me!!! Everything is perfect - they even have a sauna, and massage/spa services. And I should not forget to mention the price is very reasonable!

The hotel has 7 floors and is located in a very nice area, surrounded by garden and all the beautiful plants as well. Hotel owner Mr. Hau told us he’s been running this for 38 years, he made his own wine and I’m going to try it later tonight. He’s an amazing host, last night we went to a wedding party, he told us to put a card in our pocket in case we can’t find the hotel. When we went back from the party, it was around 12am, he was still here in the lobby saying goodnight to us.

This hotel, and the owner’s hospitality is definitely the highlight of our trip in beautiful Germany! Thank you, we’ll definitely be back again!

Starting with the good things : the staff is very friendly and fast in responding.
Location setting is nearly perfect. We enjoyed the the view over The Valley.

The 2 course Menü we had was a salat with goat cheese was tasty and good but small.

The main dish we had was fish (catfish) and the fish itself without any taste, unfortunately. The sauce was okay and the veggies where completely without any herbs.

In general the dinner was kind of okay but not the money worth ...

amazing breakfast buffet (bread and Birchermuesli are our favorites)
always enjoy having a dinner at the restaurant at least one night during out stay
great place to stop if traveling through on a road trip or cycling tour

The views are fantastic and the service personnel tries their best.
The restaurant is supposed to be great.
We felt very left down, were the rooms were concerned. This had direct impact on our desire to discover anything else in this location.
